I believe The Stranger to be a townie. Eventually the mafia will have to kill him, or he becomes a liability to them. But probably not before they've gotten all the distraction value they can out of his continued existence.

As an aside, can I just say that it gives me the heebie-jeebies to use a Pizza-inspired argument at any time, even when I agree with it? Also,

Well I thought I had something; I thought that seeing as he was making afew of us think he was a joker that the mafia would kill him, seeing as they lose if we lynch a joker along with the rest of us, and if they didn't kill that would mean they knew something we don't, like he was a mafia himself, and it would be safe to lynch him. But then again the mafia might not have taken him seriously and just couldn't bothered killing him. I'm not sure if this makes much sense, to be honest it sounded alot better in my head.

I will continue to offer my analysis post-death. If you're going to get rid of me, this is the round to do it. It's very early and most lynches will be wasted anyway. Remove a high suspect for being a henchman now.

Let's play this game again. If you had been (or were) picked as the ancient vampire, who would you have (or did you) pick as your henchmen?

I would have gone for TinCow and Kukri.

Hmmm... having spoken to Pizza at length about this, I encourage everyone to vote for him this round.

Essentially, he believes that the mafia will keep him alive until the end-game where the town will end up wasting a lynch at a stage where they are more precious, and thus he wants to be lynched now to avoid that situation from happening. In death, one of two things will happen; either the mafia's kill count will fall to one per night (thus proving Pizza guilty) or the kill count remains the same and he is proven innocent, whereby he will act as advice for the town.

Either outcome is advantageous, and as it's at Pizza's own request... well, I thought I would put the notion to the town as Naib and see what you thought; it's up to you guys and gals if you accept or not.

That's unreasonably pessimistic seeing as he was left alive in Star wars despite being revealed as recruitable.

I went for you and Pizza, because it is so hilarious, no one would take it seriously.

"uhuh, Beskar, Sasaki and Pizza all as mafia together? Huh... right... that kind of awesome would never occur. "

"stop joking beskar, 39 yawns here. "

    I am loving it.

That would be my sentiments also, but he has a point; the slaves have one kill each, and the Ancient is only allowed to kill once per night when both of his slaves have perished.

Agree on Tincow to some extent, but not as much because he's such an obvious choice.

Kukrikhan, definitely. He's got the experience and he's been out of it for a while, so he won't get lynched right away (most likely).
Kagemusha is doing his humor because that is the PERFECT way to avoid being lynched, and he doesn't have to offer serious analysis either. He's already got your sympathies, too, Sasaki. Not a small feat.
I would also have chosen Sasaki, but it would be because I'm not me, I'm someone else who is the ancient. Sasaki and I have a similar scummy vibe about us, so I wouldn't have picked him, I'd have left him alive for a while and then killed him around the same time one of my henchmen died. But, others would have picked him.
I would have chosen Renata or pevergreen due to Renata being sympathetic, and pevergreen because he can survive a very long time if you don't lynch him right away. Beefy is also an excellent pick. He will crawl right into your heart and cuddle up with it, until he eats it.

You really want more of a Beefy or pevergreen "type" who avoids being lynched and survives a long time because they generally put less pressure on the mafia and generally don't take charge of the discussion. If they are mafia their behavior doesn't have to change in order to survive a long time, which is all you need. They're also not considered must lynch candidates.

Yeah, and the perfect defense against being lynched.

Either the kills will drop or I'll be proved innocent without wasting the late lynches which are the ones which usually catch scum.

Either bite the bullet and kill me, or bite the bullet and force the mafia to kill me. Don't waffle later on.

Ancient One is also immune to lynch, etc, while his slaves are alive too. Think of it like Andres in Creeping Darkness.

It may be a good strategy pizza, but mafia seldom gambit that boldly. Their minds are on something else.

Depends on who you talk to.

Even now, this whole "lynch me" thing could be WIFOM to get you to not lynch me until the endgame. Don't overlook something because mafia seldom do it. People have varied personalities.

Kagemusha is right up there among the players who play ballsy. He's the one who suggested attacking Yaropolk, who was defended by Jolt, in the Shadow Fort. Even though we knew it, and it was likely a suicide mission. I agreed because mine are made of platinum, but he proposed it because his are made of titanium.

    That's radically different.

The number of things that are "ballsy for mafia but are the perfect disguise" that are actually done by town is much greater than the number done by mafia. Partly because people are vastly suspicious of "ballsy for mafia but the perfect disguise".

You may have a point. But then again this whole discussion between you and I has been fabricated because we're both mafia, so now I will pretend to agree with you.
