Ok, I already sent orders to beat on it, IIRC (AtPG, if my PM wasn't quite that specific, please take it as such, I have no time to write another), so you can handle the rest. Hopefully we don't burn the house down.

Well, I kinda smashed the thing to kindling. While I'm sure it worked out a lot of pent-up aggression, I'm not so sure it actually accomplished anything game-wise. Remains to be seen, I guess.

    End of Day Five

By the voting process, the 15 guests decided that their best move would be to investigate the manor some more. So, there was no one lynched by the group today.

Could be, but we need some evidence to lynch someone, that is suspect. Don't want to lynch just anyone. The house is evil, not us (at least not so far). Mmwwhaaa

    • You have until 23:59 (11:59PM) May 22nd (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) to place your vote for either the LYNCH or to MOVE to a different room. That is approximately 45 hours from now.
    • You cannot both lynch and move in one day, so you may only choose to do one with your vote.
    • I will now send out the description of the rooms you are in privately. You may interact with the room during the day phase.
    • If you are going to MOVE, I will need to know where by the end of the DAY phase. I realize that it causes problems for me due to the game mechanics if the day phases creep over into the night phase. So please, send me your movements before Day is over.

Captain Blackadder? Are you sane? Can you respond?
We might have to test our chicken dance again... Or actually find a way to get rid of the girl.

So far its the house who is killing us. According to pizza there is a evil one amongst us...
If I read my pm right, someone destroyed the clock, but it reappeared.
Either it can't be removed until the very end, or someone is recreating it.

Anyway, I think its about time to find that someone.
    Suspect

    Not Captain Blackadder
Not White_eyes (First guy who destroyed stuff)

    Maybe not Methos (Researcher)
Maybe not YLC, Split (YLC fixed the light, Split got fondled by me and loved it )

Was it Whitey who disabled the light switch?

Ok, no one touch the Angel Figurine.
Moonlight Sonata CD sounds suspicious too.

Recently I was able to research how to do an exorcism, (read: chicken dance) and I performed one on White Eyes. The results came back that he wasn't possessed. Now my research also stated that the exorcism only worked up until the end of day 6. After that point, the demon was too strong for an exorcism to work. Since White Eyes was in the Computer Room with me yesterday and everyone was suspicious of him, I performed the ritual on him and then pleaded with him, yes, pleaded, to get him to research what I asked, so that he could also perform an exorcism today. ATPG stated that there was enough time for White Eyes to research it and perform one exorcism. Instead of researching what I asked, he researched [i]News Reports of Demon Sightings[/b].

I'm beginning to wonder if it isn't players that the exorcism should be performed on, but items. For instance, White Eyes doll, the cloth, or some other item. Today is my last chance to perform an exorcism and it only works during the day. I can't recall when the update is, but we have until then to figure it out.

I'd also like to know why White Eyes ignored my request. This is ATPG we're talking about, so totally focusing on just the cursed items isn't the wisest idea. White Eyes was the only one who had the time to research exorcisms and perform one. Yes, ATPG made it out to be stupid and comical, but that doesn't mean you just ignore it. I still received results, so might as well try.

I was killed because of (or more probably *for*) the doll, according to the write-up. Unfortunately, pretty much everyone knew either white-eyes or I had it. I'm suspicious of Niklas, who was very interested in it from the beginning and who could plausibly have decided to finally act last night once everything starting coming out more in public, giving him cover; and of Beefy, for reasons I can't quite put my fingers on. And of almost everyone else to varying extents.

Methos -- if he's the mysterious evil he's doing a really good job of disguising it; my only real issue with him is I think I gave away in a PM from yesterday that I had the doll and not white_eyes. But it was a 50-50 chance for anyone else.
    It shouldn't be white_eyes.

I don't know whether the doll should be destroyed or not; it seems clear the evil has some interest in it, but for what reason? Would destroying it weaken the demon? Or is destruction of it what the demon wants? It *is* an angel, after all. My instincts say it should not be destroyed.

The other items I was considering destroying yesterday, then decided to leave the decision to today. Nobody suspicious should even have known I had the CD; I don't know if even white_eyes realized. I never mentioned it, to my recollection. It was in the stereo in the living room; the music has been used in several write-ups. Probably it should be broken.

White Eyes was in the computer room with me yesterday. I offered him the computer as ATPG stated that if White Eyes research it as well, then both of us could perform an exorcism today, but White Eyes instead chose to ignore my requests and screw the town of one of its possibilities. Good job being pro-town!

    Just lynch white_eyes on principle.

The research would have been yesterday, though.

So Renata states that the demon wants the doll that it knew either Renata or White Eyes had and now both of you vote for him? Rather suspicious.

I agree that I don't like how White Eyes is acting, as its very against town, but this late in the game, I'm not so sure that's wise.

White_eyes doesn't have the doll now; CB does. I'm not positive of my conclusions, either -- it's a bit hard for me to read the write-up in any detail, and my what I've stated so far is mostly independent of that. It would be nice if you all would discuss it, though. The question is whether the doll is one of AtPG's "useful to the innocents" items, (perhaps by suppressing the demon's strength, since it evidently did nothing to protect me directly) or a 'useful to the demon" item (perhaps the demon gets stronger if it has the doll). I'm leaning toward the former, but the actions to take in each case are pretty much opposite.

Hmmmm....break the doll. In fact, break anything that does not produce light. If you notice, most things that are not light producing sources are personal items - look at the write up. The doll belonged to the girl, it is her possession. The dress was someones possession, the lawnmower was someones possession - the power tools, the CD, etc.

I mean, looking at it this way the demon, if that is what it is, is possessing us. I'd expect such a subtle hint from our esteemed host.
