Fellow dwarves, we do not need to mindlessly vote for ourselves, not when there is no way of telling who, or what, the murderer is. I say, at the most, we imprison someone, until our path is clearer.
vote: abstain.
Weakling!
unvote, vote Double A
No one votes for me and gets away with it.
unvote, vote: Renata
I believe the lady is overcome with grief, perhaps she should have a rest tonight, in security.
Imprision: Renata

I'm no lady, I'm a dwarf.
There ARE dwarf ladies, you know. We don't just pop out of the ground.
I bet you're a stinking human.
Human? Oh, now that's just uncalled for. Ewww.
You're all nothing but city elves. Stinking, dirty, thieving city elves.
Mind you, I doubt there are any elves in this game.

Just a slight change in the rules regarding the imprison option; while this prevents the player from using any abilities for the night phase, it also prevents them being targetted by those of others too.
I'll amend the initial post to reflect that. :3

"Blacker than a moonless night. Hotter and more bitter than Hell itself… that is coffee."
OOC: I think most of us would have assumed that anyway. Best to put it in Black and kinda Mauve just to be safe I guess.
Your dishonest words betray you for the coward you are, Double A. You speak of truth, but in doing so you only serve yourself. You put me a comfortable two votes ahead of your own death or exile (and one in front of Autolycus' imprisonment), all in the guise of a reasonable prudence.
(Separately, to answer Flax: I hardly ever fight day one no-lynches anymore (which is essentially what this is), but that doesn't mean I have to like it or participate in it.)
Imprisonment by vote is useless. The only way we will catch the murderer during the day is by exile.

How is it useless? If someone is imprisoned and a murder occur, we will know for certain that he is not the killer. That's useful. It looks better than a real lynch, because we don't have any information to deal with.
So what are you going to do if there is no death tonight? Assume the imprisoned one is guilty, so you spend two days lynching one person? Assume there's a chance it was a frame and spend several days keeping that person in prison just to be sure? And what if there is a kill? Assume the person locked up is innocent, then get stabbed in the back five days down the line when it turns out they were only the killer's backup partner? What you get out of something like this is information, but it's not very useful information. All it really is is an excuse to do nothing.

Imprisoning is the best move ever at this point.
Let's keep our numbers high, while gathering some information, and make sure that a hasty lynch does not turn against us.
