Met a Foreign Girl, Need Advice

I just want to thank everyone in this thread for their advice. Things have been going great with her, and we are now currently dating. After the park date I took her and Vladimir to the pool with my brother and sister, and it was a great time. She looks mighty fine in a bathing suit too. Though I only met her last Monday, we've already been on five dates, and I'm taking her to the White Sox (baseball) game tomorrow, so she can get a great American experience. Even though we don't always understand each other perfectly, we have great chemistry and it's clear that we both really dig each other. She even said that due to our Russian connection and the fact that we share the same birthday, she believes that it was "destiny" that we met. My overall love life to this point has been pretty uninspiring, but this girl is absolutely amazing and I think I may have hit the jackpot here.

There is a grain of truth in there...

Eastern Europe is macho central. The guys act too tough, the women's skirts are all too short.



The other thing is, East European women are a bit more serious, mature, about relationships than West Europeans / Americans. They very soon try to figure out your worth, your financial prospective, what you can mean to her. I suppose they have a lower margin for error. It is a harsher society, with more inequality, and it shows.

I envy you, I've had my eye on an Eastern European beauty myself (a beautiful Romanian more precisely), and I've known her for sometime now, but I struggle to get anything together. "Nice Guy" is basically the opposite to what it means. I think to put it correctly, being a "Good Guy" is the thing to be, not a "Nice Guy". The "Nice Guy" is some one who is obsessive, sees women as an object, talks about how the good looking woman always dates the good looking males (but they neglect the woman around their type near them) amongst other things.

It is a good read. It tells you the problems with the majority of the self-confessed 'Nice Guys' especially when some of them are not really that nice at all.

I wish I was there for the sex talk. "In Russia, we don't have birds and bees, we have bears and walrus!", "Wait.. your sex talk consists of Bears and Walrus?", "No, Silly! We have no bees or birds, only bear and walrus!"

I love the accent, especially with the 'Foriegn English'. Some reason, a foriegner with a nice accent saying imperfect English sounds far sexier than a native English speaking English correctly.
