CTD during a Multiplayer Match!

I just got an unexplained CTD in a multiplayer match. A 2-on-2 multiplayer land battle, that I was winning, too. I've had them before, but usually in single player, where I have autosave. This is extremely annoying, because it was right near the end of the battle.

I am very.... annoyed. Something tells me that games should be released without the random CTD feature. It may make things interesting, but it's more annoying than useful, in my opinion.
