    Default Historic RPG

Okay, Since people here like MTW, I figured people would also like a Medieval timed RPG. IT starts in 1350.

Basically, you pick a nation, find info for it, and then role play as that nations monarch. You must deal with internal of foriegn politics. You make allies and you make enemies. Battles etc are decided by an agreed upon neutral party who is to look at the armies posted(raised, marched etc).

    The Link Is here

We are just starting and waiting for people to join before we start. Before starting all players just gather info and plan their startegies. Trust me this is great fun. Hope to see you there!

    Master of Puppets,

what you do is first find info on your nation. Army size, capital, amry composition, territroy size, and your monarch. Wikipedia is always a good start.

After we get enough players to start, and the people who have done this before start playing, you will understand what to do.

And thanks for joining guys, this will be fun.

Hum, I don't want to kill your hopes, but if you just ask people to 'claim' a nation in your forum, I'm not sure your RPG will go really far, since the main aim seems to be "let's claim the bigger/cooler nation, even if I don't know what the hell I'm doing". I'd suggest you to post a list of available nations, and ask people to post a decent historical and roleplay background, just to be sure they're motivated and really willing to play. I've played enough forum-based RPG where half the players had no clue about what was going on and just decided to play because it looked like fun, and where the other half left because they couldn't play decently because of that.

But, if you can promise me it will be fun, and there won't be some 1337-r0x0r 12 y old guy, I'll gladly claim a crappy nation and kick all your medieval bottoms ;)

Reminds me that I'd one day like to do a real "Historic" RPG like Darklands. Someday. Someday...

Now, when I make RPGs, why don't they get this kind of attention?

I think France is open, you can play your home nation

Me, I'd like Naples, Aragon, or Genoa.
