Is there something wrong with registrations?

For some reason this is the only board on the forum that I can post at. Yes I did see and read the sticky, but I must have deleted the activation email as I do not have it (I registered awhile ago but never posted). I couldn't find a link to resend the email, so I thought maybe I could change my email to recieve a new email. However, when I change it, the screen turns white and doesn't load anything. Then when I use back on my browser and refresh the page, it still has my old email there.

So then I decided to start from scratch. I tried to register with a new username (added a space between Dark and Knight) with a different email address. However when I tried to register it did the white page thing that it did when I tried to change my email. This is doing my head in as I have a very important question I need to ask.

If someone could repost this on the MTW board that would be great.

I have just about all of it worked out (somethings like vices and virtues, king/heirs, etc I am just not including because it makes things too complicated). But there are a few things I need to know.

Does anyone know the algorithm to calculate how many florins you get for a trade route?

Sure. Do you want it in the Main Hall, M:TW MP or M:TW modding?

I don't think there is anything wrong with your registration. Junior members cannot post in most forums, they have to get promoted first. However, promotion is an easy process: all you have to do is post regularly in a friendly and helpfull way and you will be promoted soon enough. This system is a bit restrictive, but it helps to keep the board free of trolls, flamers, spammers and other nuissances of the internet. I was thinking the modding, because those people probably know the most about the game mechanics. Thanks a lot

I missed that because all of the stickies at the top of the board have bold text, and didn't realize those were stickies below it, my bad. Maybe if someone who knows me from multiplayer sees me they will promote me, because I have a very good reputation there

I've posted your questions over at the Alchemist lab. However, I think I know the answer to the second one: no-one knows the algorithm, or is even entirely sure what influences it. Number of ships and the quality of the admiral appear the most important factors, but succes in sea battles seems to be inversely related to victory on land.

Thanks for posting that Ludens. I guess I am getting the answer I sort of expected, nobody knows except for the people who programmed it. I'll just have to make up and use a simple formula for my campaign purposes.
