perhaps a silly question but what do i do with the files from the patch after i have installed res final?

you install res gestae (final) and then the patch-files

Hey i love the mods try a few and want to try this one but i had to reformat my hard drive and i got it instaled then i go to play you know?, and i get failed to initialise 3D audio! So i reinstaled the i get i think SFX.sound2 cab error is they a web link to download and install please help 3 days w/o RTW
