    Default Kingdom of Poetry

    English Poems

    Remember, you never stand alone
for you have friends loyal to the bone
    remember in your greatest need
that there once was a guy who believed
you had the world at your feet

When I see you my heart stops and i skip a breath
It is like everything stopped to see nature's most beautiful
Your voice is softer than a nightingales twitter
and I swear I can hear the Angels sing in each word
Around you dances the perfume of paradise
You are sweeter than a thousand roses

Lady, I obey you, you are my guide
Lady, I pray to you, you are my saviour
Lady, I will die for you, you are my cause
Lady, I will live for you, you are my heart

    You walk through my mind
as I walk on the beach
So close but still out of reach
See your face in every thought
Feel your skin in every touch
But when I wake up at it is all gone
every part of you vanishes at dawn
I can only wish and pray
That I can for atleast one day
    dream for eternity...

If everything happens for a reason
for example the change of seasons
    Why does the sun shine
    and the stars twinkle
why does a stone make water rinkle

I want to tell you now what I forgot yesterday
for I love that you handle things your way
You are kind, sweet, gentle, loving and caring
always open minded, ready to learn new things
generous and ready to help human beings
Maybe you're destined to be the world's next saviour
I don't know why but in my eyes you have the looks of an
    Angel

Oh moon what mysteries do you hold
what is beyond your floreshing appearance
    What answers shall you reaveal
will you reach out to my plea
For I sit all alone with only you watching over me
your pale but gentle touch resting on my shoulders
    All alone though never lonely
do not leave me behind in the dark
for I need you to guide me through it

    They think they know me
    but they don't
Am I not more but name or adress
    I know I am
How can you, stranger on the corner
    know me?
While I don't even know myself
    can you tell me?

You are like the ocean to me
    a vast giant mystery
When I look in your eyes
    deep pools full of questions
I wonder if I should be the one
to answer them and by doing so
    set you free

Why act like you love me when you are afraid to touch me
Sometimes I feel that you want to tell me something
but somehow you believe you cannot trust me
I need you and I love you but I am not in love with you
I just want to get back the love that I am giving you
That is my secret and I do want to tell you
but I am afraid that you will missunderstand it
That is why I won't tell you who is you
You yourself got to find out who is who
and when you do you must choose
Whether you understand it or not
if you still want to be my best friend

    Statements

I'll die on the day I reached the very limits of my life. The point where after I can't go anywhere but down. Physicly I might still be around, but I'm dead.
In other words, the day I die, will be the day I touched the sky.

In your darkest hour, the smallest of lights shines with the brightness of a thousand suns.

The brave talk about dying for their country, for glory.
The coward tries to avoid death at every moment.
Ironicly the brave is worth more alive,
and the coward might as well die
Because he is better of dead
instead of running away of the unavoidable

We call ourselves civilised, because we eat from silver plates. Because we have a state that solves our problems for us, and makes them. Because we can get food without leaving our houses, and can communicate over thousand miles. If that is so, we call ourselves civilised because we've distanced ourselves from the very essentials of life; The practical learning progress, the art and satisfaction of working for your own meal, the social contact, real contact. We are civilised because we live in luxury. But outside that luxury we can't survive. And still we have the guts to call those who can take care of themselves, those who we have forced for ages and ages still to come to do our work, Savage and Uncivilised... Why? Because they live life raw and hard like it was once intended.

When bad and ugly things happen, people call it unhuman and cruel. While it is human nature to be cruel and to do those ugly things.

Some people need to stare death in his eyes before they learn the value of life

The reasons for actions fade away, but the impact of the action will leave a crater that will never be forgotten. Remember that before you act.

    Dutch Poems

    Welkom in mijn wereld

I don't have any as of now. I used to have a notebook with some songs and poems but I lost it and never found it. I haven't really tried to write anything in a while but I will pretty soon. You see I'm a musician and I like singing and writing music to me its fun. But I just started playing guitar and I've been putting most of my efforts into that. I will start again pretty soon though.

Not bad at all, I'll see if I can find one of mine to add.

Ah yes, something I did last Summer:

    Helen

She walked in streams of sunlight fair,
    In greenest summer leaves,
The Wind played gaily in her hair,
    On golden Autumn eves.

The snows were warmed by second sun,
    Whiter still than they,
In Spring the birdsong was outdone,
    When she woke the day.

Her glory made the Earth below,
    More stunning than the sky,
And Angels, when they saw her glow,
    Declared that she must die.

They swooped in envy and they took,
    Her from that sunlit glen,
And laid her, dead, in ice-cold Brook,
    My Lady Fair, Helen.

    But still Wind’s darkest melodies,
    Are the most joyous songs,
And still the Seraph’s burning breeze,
    Laments for Angel throng.

For Angels above and Devils below,
Could not believe that since then,
My lady lies as my Sky and my Snow,
    My Sun, my Moon, Helen.
