    Tales from the Shepherd Empire



    We have always been here. We are farmers, we are shepherds. We are warriors!

    We had fought and we had lost! It was a desperate situation people from the north came across from the moutain wall of Iberia and changed our ways forever We had adapted with these tribes arival and had sued for peace but our lands were barren. Tales from the Greek merchants from the eastern sea told us of a Man named Alexandros, Megas Alexandros they called him had ruled a land far away that never ended. Our king Tantalos Lusotankum had always dreamed of being like this King but throughtout his rule he had struggled to keep his tribe alive. Only now im 272BC would he be ready for moving towards reclaiming the lost lands of his people.

    Cheers buddy. I have alot of it already done...I just have to get it all written up and all the pictures sorted out. i Also have to turn off them green arrows to but there aint too many ruining my pictures already taken. Update Tomorrow!

    Tales from the Shepherd Empire

    Chapter one 272BC rise of the Lusotanakum

    Tantalos was tired. Tired of hearing the same old stories, tired of how long ago men had begun to cross the moutain passes how they chased the lusitanians to the west. By Tantalos time they were not much differnent from each other both Gaullic and iberian the tribes had mixed. but Tantalos was different he had been born into a southern clann a son of a shepherd on the slopes of a moutain. He had never taken to sheep and his earliest memories were of his brothers taunting him of his lack abilities. It didnt matter now they were dead. long dead.

    One night raiders came and destroyed the farms of his clann fearing for his life Tantalos ran and was found by an uncle who took him over the moutain. During that week they wandered to where the city people lived there Tantalos was sold to a noble man and worked in his house he never saw the uncle again. He couldnt remember his family name all he knew was that he was Tantalos Lusotanakum a pure one too Very rare. He grew and learnt the ways of the city people and at 15 he deceided to escape many Iberians moved to the citys and he felt a longing for them he knew they were his people not like the leaders of the citys or the Greek traders that came from the eastern seas. He learned of stories of battles, gods and Carthage and syracuse. Alexandros was the most intresting story he was inspired of this man everyone knew of him and his deeds.

    He left and wandered back to where he would find his people going a different direction to all the iberians he met. he arrived at a village and within a week he fought for the village and then for the clanns of the valley and soon for the tribes of the moutains and that was when in the heat of a battle with north men he saw his king fall. Tantalos took control and won that battle. and soon lead these men and women on a story of defeat and retreat and finally victory and stability and growth.

    But he was old and tired the stories had been told before. he was tired of being king tired of being a man with all the world resting on his shoulders tired of Heoric defeats tired of constant moving tired of seeing Lusotannan men women and children move to the southern cities to find work scared of the gauls tired of subsitance sheep farming Tired of being angry of those who had abandonded the cause.He was even tired of Alexandros and his deeds.

    This was the story of Tantalos Lusotanakum and his family and his people.
    In a bold move He had gathered the very last of his armies and his eldest born son to a council they were going to move and give eveything they could give.

    the army was split into two and Tantalos headed to the treacherous Iberians of the south who had fractured from the Lusitanian tribes and moved towards bowing to the Carthaginian men of the southern cites. His son Latronos moved north towards the Gaulic men the Galleci if it failed then the money would be gone and the future of his people gone. Sucum murgi was the town closest to where he had been born he rembered it and to see his blood brothers abandon the cause was an insult to his dead family. In the north the strange Galleci reamled and after a great battle many years ago it was said most of them had sallied far away north to the mysty Isles Bringing the west of Iberia under his control would be a task Tantalos would hope to see. He was tired because he was old. He knew time was calling him and this would be his last heroic deed for the Lusotannan and this time it would be victory....


    Hmmm gone over the top again just like in my Casse AAR that i never even posted.. oh well enjoy and i will squeeze another one in later on tonight and i promise i wont waffle on haha

    OH! and can anyone tell me a could programe to use where i can enlarge the pictures but dont ruin the pixels..?!?! that map of Lusitania looks shite

    Irfanview will do it quite good, but it's important to resize it before you convert it all from bmp to a jpg.

    sorry Guys my english langauge skills have always been a bit warped. Its because i was speaking in northern irish mode alot of sentences murge into one I actully cut out alot of the full stops when i went over it hahaha sorry.

    Tales from the Shepherd Empire
    Chapter Two - Sucum Murgi and Tyde controlling the western shoreline

    A soft westerly wind blew there was a small murmur among the men Tantalos spoke to his men monitoring the town ahead. Jubal was in there looking back at him, Jubal had fought alongside Tantalos once. He was a skilled fighter and had abandoned Tantalos at a battle with the Arevaci confederacy declaring that he was king of the true Lusotannan. He had traded only with the Carthaginian cities and made active steps to pledging his land to them. Tantalos knew that Jubal was a man of southern cities he had lied to the tribes and seeked to subjugate them. They had been slowly extending their influence in the area and Tantalos would have to check this.

    The order was given and the men surged forward a Levy moved in first skirmishing with the defenders hoping to tire the enemy. They breached the palisade and swiftly became little more then carcasses for the enemy to practice slash and stab techniques. More levies moved in and sensing an opportunity they flung their javelins high into the air and as they fell they imbedded themselves into the backs of the busy infantry. The rest of the army moved in and split Jubal’s army containing any effective counterattack. Jubal’s unit desperately charged a line of spearmen only to collapse and Jubal himself was singled out and cut down by the Riders of Tantalos's troops. It was obvious the battle was won and Tantalos tried to rally former comrades to conceed defeat but it was clear they had no love left for their king and fought until the last. Many of the best soldiers were lost and Tantalos would have to wait for these men to be replaced before he could move onto the Carpetani tribe east of Sucum-Murgi.


    Meanwhile to the North the Second army lead by Latronos, the future chieftain, had been lost in the forests of the Galleci. Upon arriving at the town gates by the following summer of the fall of Sucum Murgi and the defeat of Jubal's supposed independent Iberians. Tyde was a small port town but and important stop for trade from the Misty Isles to the north where much Tin and other metals were to be found.

    Latronos had arranged his troops in much the same order of his father. The Levies carried a ram to the gates and broke through while under constant Fire from the javelins of the Galleci defenders. Undeterred they rushed through determined to make a point of themselves to earn respect of their better-equipped peers. Poverty had made its mark in Lustania these levies had no armour and the smallest of swords. Poverty makes a man desperate and the Lusotanakum were desperate indeed. The conscripts continued to fight well. The levies surrounding the infantry and dealing good blows to the two Galleci units. The infantry out fought them soon enough their spears and swords cutting through the young soldiers. Just like in Sucum murgi most were cut down only 15 escape unscathed. As the more experienced troops of the army moved in they fought long and hard with the defenders destroying them and even catching the cavalry of the Galleci leader. The army retreated back to the high ground in the centre of the city Latronos then ordered an encirclement. And as the heavier spearmen moved behind the battered army the last of the general and his gate defenders surged forward to meet the infantry that was preparing a frontal charge of the reserves. The general soon found himself alone facing a wall of spears what happened next even cause Latronos to wince at the Heroic Death of the leader. It was a matter of time now and the Galleci were now trapped fighting back to back soon they succumbed to the might of the Lusotannan!

    Tales from the Shepherd Empire

    Chapter Three-Onwards regardless

    Latronos Listened intently to the noblemen of Tyde. He had trouble trying to understand every word that was said. The language of the men from the north was disharmonious compared to his. he asked them to slow down.

    "You may have the power now Lord. but! But you will have to prove to these people how we will prosper as your allies to the east lie the Arevaci and their allies. A strong power indeed what do we gain from joining this confederacy"

    The noble spoke in a insidious manner implying that Latronos was only a passing ruler and would soon go just like the great men who had fled north. All along the coast until reaching the Euskadi of the Mountain wall Men came and then left boarding boats to go north to the lands of the gods and where the mist of the boiling seas from the west brought demons of the underworld.

    "we have enemies too Lord. Our neighbours the Asturi they steal our sheep our cattle and sometimes our women. Since.... you have killed our men and this is now YOUR land then it is your duty to avenge the kidnap of YOUR women"

    "very well" Smiled Latranos he then sighed “We will have to raise the taxes to make a force to deal with them. Wait? The only money left in this rugged land...oh just yours and your noble friends I guess you owe ME as I am now your ruler..."
    The glorious smirk that emanated from the nobles face was gone in a flash what was left was a hollow face. Latranos burst into laughter.

    In the south things faired better Tantalos had discharged his veterans and gave them the lands of the dead Iberians. Enslaving the survivors into new levies. New trade had relived pressure back in Oxtaca. Over the next few seasons the economic hardship was eased. Tantalos would have to show he meant business diplomats and retainers were sent beyond the mountain wall and into the cities of the south. Even though he was far from capable of defending his land he needed to show some strength. Of course the Arevaci didn’t care. They were too powerful holding the centre of Iberia but lacking the foresight to see they held the largest army on the land. The men of southern cities had stationed an army in the east outside Mastia. Monitoring what was going on beyond his lands would be key. Beyond the Mountain wall was Gaul He learned of a civil war that had raged on for centuries with tribes rising and falling like the tides each day. The survivors had fled south bringing the destruction with him. Tantalos knew that the to hold the wall was to protect Iberia from any more intruders. He also knew he would never see that day. He needed to reach Baikor and that way he could keep the Carthaginians south of the mountains and squeezed next to the sea. The chance would come soon. Baikor had a large mine a lot of trade was falling into the cities hands only to be wasted away by corrupt men. Tantalos saw the money being used to rise the standard of living for his people. Roads and general infrastructure were needed.

    Money was slow to arrive in the north Latranos decided all he could do was to march on the Asturi in Pallantia. The veterans from the south headed to meet him at Tyde. Not much of the army was left. The two armies had now become one and a much smaller force from before. Garrisons were left in Tyde. Upon reaching the town it was decided that the siege would be quick and it was hoped the battle too which proved to be wrong skirmishing had reduced levies but they had destroyed a guard at the gate but then were pushed back and eventually slain. The gate became a blood bath the army was slowly being forced out of the settlement but in a stroke of like the enemy general found himself isolated and surrounded his horse was brought down and he was prompted slain by the heaviest troops. The enemy faltered and broke cut down as a flood of Lusotannan men poured through the settlement gates. Isolated pockets of men were resisting but soon collapsed under the sheer weight of the army. Latronos had fought a good battle and the Asturi were beaten but the rugged lands in the north were far from productive.

    In 4 years the Lusotannan tribal Confederacy would start to prosper and Tantalos by this time was 70 years old, wise and starting to feel frail the army was brought south and Tantalos headed east towards to Carpetani of Baikor. The important mines were crucial Most of the trade had again headed south and the Carpetani had given up much independence to the Carthaginians. Iberian resources had been snatched away And it was time to liberate them. After a half a year siege The walls were breached.
    Just like Pallantia the defenders of this town were much more stubborn in moving from the walls. A new type of solider had arrived on the battlefield, heavy spearmen. The Scuttari, they had managed to hold the gate and rout the Levies and fresh troops from the confederacy. After the destruction of much of the army the last garrison held out in the town centre. Tantalos had entered the fray himself. The enemy chieftan had fled and was hiding at the other side of the town. While fighting and slaying to young soldiers Tantalos felt a sharp pain in his left arm he smiled expecting to see a small desperate fighter about to bring him down. As he swung his sword round parallel with the gaze of his eyes he was surprise to see no one there. The pain got worse and soon was in his chest. He signalled he was in distress in the confusion of the battle the army pulled out Tantalos was slumped into his saddle clutching at his chest. He was having a heart attack. A local healer brewed an herbal soup and the pain was eased. The captains sent some levies to continue the siege while the army recovered they were destroyed forthright and a weakened Tantalos marched to Baikor again. He walked out of his tent one night dismissing his guards. He climbed a small hill and looked over the settlement and his army. With a small pray to the gods and to his ancestors he sat and watched smiling at the scenery of his land. He closed his eyes and thought of younger days, meeting his wife, fighting the Arevaci during the dark days and he began to see fallen comrades looking back further he saw the farmstead and his family his brothers and his father. He stood up and walked towards them ignoring the army and Baikor which laid behind him They smiled and welcomed him in he didn’t care now he knew what was happening and a peaceful wave came across him Tantalos had passed on. In his tent was a simple note. “Onwards regardless”

    No. I have been lazy yes but its still there. I have been busy with other things. I Lost some critical pictures storywise and i had to do a system restore after downloading a horrid lil trojan. Since you are my stories biggest fan i promise you a new chapter will be here tonight! thats GMT.

    I lied im sorry i ended up getting drunk and i woke up after a haze dream frolicking around the mountains ambushing nasty roman looking types and have sex with there corpses anyways I have it all ready just gotta spell check and picture make

    Chapter 4
    The Confederacy

    Latronos was now King and as a king in a newly conquered land he felt good. His father was dead he had now aged too. The fiery hair had faded to white but he was still feeling young. Pallantia had put up quite a fight and introduced new types of weapons and armour. These Celtic tribes had proved fierce Iberian warriors. But trouble at Baikor had cut short his celebrations.

    The siege went onwards regardless “onwards regardless” as he had proscribed on the night of his death. Baikor had not known of the death of the king. The new husband of Latronos’s sister, Katunos was quick to prove loyalty and he arrived at the ragged army at the broken down walls of Baikor. The battle was quick the staunch scutarri defenders were gone and simple spearmen were not enough to fight a grieving foe blaming them for their Chieftains death. Baikor was now under the control of Katunos. The mines were worked and more money was pouring the Lusotannan confederacy was growing.

    It wasn’t growing unnoticed. With the rise of Lusotannan power and a loss of possible allies The Carthaginian cites began to mobilise the spies reported an influx of soldiers in bother Gader and Mastia. They didn’t seem to want to leave the cities which was good. Latronos was ready to move further east above the town of Pallantia stood a large Hill and from that Hill he could see the great mountain wall snow caped and shining. With an army behind him composed of new Pallantia warriors they began the march to Velika.

    Velika was quite small but the main centre of the northeast region. Euskadi and celts lived in these foothills. Holding Velika meant controlling the region and by this time Velika was under attack from raiding tribes of Arevaci they too began to get worried as the Lusotannan encroached closer to their lands. The men of Velika had not thought to build a wall and the army marched right through the settlement small fighting occurred but it was nothing like Pallantia. Upon arrival the carpetani marched out to Velika and broke under the stronger more experienced army. Latronos had made into the centre of town and was proclaiming himself king while the battle went on. King. A first for a Lusotannan the Carpetani looked up to kings they compared Latronos to the god king of the Averni tribe to the north beyond the wall. King of the Lusotannan peoples king in name only. There were Arevaci kings. And Greek cities and Carthaginian cities they did not see a king they saw a tribal chieftain who was quickly over stretching his control.

    After a few years The Confederacy began to evolve Sucum murgi and Tyde felt themselves as Lusotannan towns. The Asturi, Carpetani and Cantabri were allied to the tribe and safe trade existed round the coasts. Arsè was a greek colony in east perched upon a hill it traded with the Romani and other Greeks far away. Rich plunder Latronos thought new wealth to build an army. Tantalos was 8 years dead and now even Latronos was feeling his age. His dream of uniting Iberia was now curtailed to uniting all of the tribes’ cept the Arevaci who were in face of it all still allies and the powerful Carthaginians in the south. With the mining from Baikor and the increased trade in tin a real port was needed to the eastern seas something to bypass the southern cities traders.

    Arsé was one of the larger settlements of Iberia but its army was not Greek they fought with the typical spear Greek style. Slow and brittle compared to fluid Lusotannan skirmishing. As usual the army was standard but with the new added fighters from Pallantia and Baikor. Strong warriors ready for hard fighting. They would be needed against the Greek spear style fighting. A yearlong siege had done much to reduce the moral and numbers of men inside but the men at the wall were starving also. Latronos knew that breaching the gate would bottle neck his forces. And give the Greeks the upper hand the streets were narrow also he had not seen this type of place before and he enjoyed it. He ordered that upon entering the city none of the fine masonry would be damaged he envision this great port city as his capital.

    A ram approached the gate and another 40 yards down the wall. From what he could tell the army had pulled back to the main street leading to the massive marble town square he would not be able to tell what would await him till he made a hole. The levied men had done well charging into the city they had met with similar foes from before. As they went through the main gate the Edtani began to pour out from the streets fighting to stop any major incursion into the city the levies had worn down the vanguard and managed to make sufficient gains by the gate to allow more troops to enter. At the wall breach it had proved harder the Famed Hoplites were waiting. Immediately at the other side braver spearmen were sent in to help the diminished levies soon most of the common men had fled and the spearman began to slug it out. Also Slingers from the Islands just east of the horizon had been paid to help they dealt massive causalities to the horde of men who came from the main street.

    Latronos noticed something. He could move some men away from the battle up a side street that ran round the wall He could sneak his way round the main army and capture the town square three units of reserves were sent in the marched slowly and unnoticed away from the battle. Even as the cities military leader pour into the fray Experience had proved itself to be the winner of the battle. The greek-celt general was killed after being squashed up against a wall unable to manoeuvre from danger he was impaled it broke the moral of the tired defenders they ran and the fresh reserves waiting on the other side of the wall rushed in with Latronos at the lead.

    Meanwhile the secondary force had now reached the town square two units of men, spearmen Greek and Iberian waited for them. Without a clear direction they stood still and the javelins rained forth. Followed by the charge the secondary force was doing quite well on its own the fighters from the gate had reached the square and finally crushed the Edanti army while crushing many of the fleeing soldier from the gate quite literally.

    Latronos was pleased his palace was magnificent and a great temple dedicated to Lugos stood gleaming across the city. Not even the army wanted to sack the city many soldiers would rest well and pluck the fruits of hard labour of the day. Many widowed women now roamed the city. It was not good news everywhere. A Carthaginian spy was watching. The Lusotannan now had access to a port in the eastern sea. The economic effects would be felt quite quickly as the trade diverted to the north. The Lusotannan had overstepped the mark something would have to be done and the Carthaginians had plans.. Which began to take effect….

    sorry for the delay also i think the next posting will next monday becaue i have busy weekend ahead of me. Saturday is an all day rave till 6:00am sunday so i will spend sunday sleeping it off haha. Also the next chapter the best so far for story line but I LOST ALL MY PICTURES FOR IT OHHH GOD I was angry but bare with me readers and those who lurk but dont post.

    Tales from the shepherd Empire
    Chpater 5 The Emergency

    Latronos Scoffed at his meal. Upon entering Arsé he had declared the Edanti full Lusotannan members, which had got the backs up of the lesser tribes of the confederacy notably the more southern tribes. Comparisons were made that the Carthaginians were better rulers then the Lusotannan and small uprisings took place. The Carpetani had proved to very critical of the move. Baikor demanded Full rights within the confederacy. Sucum- Murgi had a notable population drop as people began to move south.

    Agents had been spotted around the border with the cities to the south. Foul play was at work and a large increase of soldiers in the south had Latronos on edge. He had grown fat in Arsé enjoying the delights of the Greek style of leisure a far cry from the Stoic philosophy his father had preached persuing a lifestyle of those men in cities would prove to be a Lusotannan mans downfall. The endless pursuit of wine and women and the coin of precious metals made men soulless and empty. Latronos was to busy having fun to care for the little things he knew his was time was close and a successor would have to be named.

    Katunos was the choice as he had saved the southern armies at the gates of Baikor He had also managed to prove himself as a ruler calming the men of Baikor but even now he was having trouble. More and more agents have been spotted in and around Baikor in an attempt to curb the trouble he tightened security but it just made it worse. Latronos seemed to be no help. Rotenanko his second son had made a name of himself curbing the rebellions. He was the new generation of Lusitanian nobles that had grown up alongside the new subjects of conquered tribes of Iberia and this way he had learnt to appreciate their customs where his fathers could not. He was going to lead an army against the Arevaci in a bold move to prove the strength of his kingdom before it collapsed Many men did not like the word Kingdom and influx of tribes and peoples made it hard to re order everyone in their place. Things were going to take a drastic turn for the worse.

    Latronos sat eating. Looking out of the palace he watched the people living their daily lives a messenger was telling him of increased activity of Carthaginians He scoffed at the information and laughed he was drunk. As he continued to sputter he tried talking drinking and eating all at the same time the sputtering worsened and he was soon choking. His body guards surged forward and he hit the floor clutching at his throat the men tried to beat the mans chest as his chocking got continuously worse he fell again this time face first vomiting all over the men’s feet as they tried to help him. A blood-curdling scream muffled by the wine and food lodged in his throat echoed around the room. Then silence.

    The messenger hurried to the centre of Baikor. “Latronos is dead!!!! I must get through”

    Katunos is speaking with some agents from the south he requested privacy no-one is aloud through” The messenger pushed through the men and continued on “STOP!!!” He swung round a drew his sword
    “I must speak with Katunos immediately and if you stop me by Lugos I will kill on the spot you stand”
    The men backed off the messenger was one of the nobles who rode with Latronos he was scared by battle many times over and he smiled as the men stepped forward and hesitated they quickly broke and run. He laughed and walked through as he stepped inside it dawned on him why the men would run off surely in this place they were tasked to guard Katunos with their lives. The place was a mess. He realised then who the guards were but curiosity drove him on. Two bodies lay on the ground. Both holding their throats like Latronos was as he died in his arms. “Katunos?!?! Master?” He continued on to the inner sanctum of the warrior hold “fuc….”

    ”TREACHERY!!!!! THE KINGS OF LUSOTANNAN HAVE BEEN SLAIN!!!!”
    Rotenanko looked up. “Murdered and poisoned!!!. Rotenanko looked at his men Settling down for an evening meal Rotenanko dropped his food. NO ONE EAT!!! We must hurry back to Oxtraca.

    A new army had been training in Oxtraca ready for the battle with the Arevaci Baikor had rioted once the news of Katunos death was heard Martial law was placed in the town and Sucum Murgi pledged men at a extraordinary rate. Roteanko Declared himself king in a hurried assembly and proposed a march on Gader the city directly to the south of Sucum Murgi. The network of counter spies that were in the south informed him of army positions and he new that Mastia had a huge army inside and outside of the city. There was also a man named Bisaltes who rang the Iberian south from there Capturing Gader would provide masses of wealth for the rampaging makeshift army a quick force march and they were outside the city. A small scouting party went forward and reported that a large force of Iberians allied to the Carthaginians was waiting. Rotenanko had no time to spare and a call to battle was declared. The marched down a wooded valley side and in front of them the army waited. The lines clashed in usual fashion and Rotenko led a flanking force the hurried mobilisation meant mass confusion broke out among his men. Inside the forests he could see fighting but he could not see who was were. Charging into massed of men seemed to have the desired effect a foreign horn was blown and as the fighting stopped some men began to head towards the gleaming city in the distance. CUT THEM DOWN!!! The chase lasted a whole 24 hours as culminated in a mass slaughter of the Gader citizens. Rage fuelled the massacre and plundering begun. The men were happy for the moment but Rotenanko new he would have to wait to see the Carthaginians next move.

    Soon enough men crossed from the mountains and headed to Sucum Murgi and Baikor. Ravaging the landscape small armies from Arsé had headed directly to Mastia and were promptly crushed by Bisaltes. Rotenanko new he would have to kill the attacking armies before he could meet Bisaltes Baikor was under siege the following month and the lands around Scum Murgi had been ravaged. Wading through two forces of Carthaginians he arrived at the Siege It was desperate situation. The stench of death could be smelt before Baikor had even come into view. Between them stood the final raiding army of Carthaginians. Their armies seemed little more then levies. Masses of untrained men Rotentko and his men had killed more then 3 times there number a trail of death where the thirst for more killing was not yet quenched in the panic of the murders and rioting. Another day another fight another massacre entering Baikor the people inside pledged allegiances spitting on the corpse of dead Carthaginians and how they had accepted their hand but the Carthaginians had betrayed them. Rotenanko was furious the speaker who told him of the Carpetani treachery was prompt decapitated more loyal tribes settled in the remains of the town and rebuilding began. News at Mastia was not good Loyal warriors from the north who had headed to Mastia had been destroyed by Bisaltes just as Rotenanko had crushed his armies

    Moving along the coast Mastia was a few weeks travel Messenger reported that Bisaltes was waiting for him outside of the city. One night he watched as his men pillaged a farmstead laughing at first he watched as small boy picked up a sword and waved it around in front of the soldiers the laughed knocking it out of the boys hands as men pinned down his mother 2 more began to beat the boy senseless the mother was then turned over and head pinned down into mud his screams could not be heard. Rotenanko Froze disgusted he walked over and killed all those present a woman, a small boy and 5 of his own men. He declared that any more rape and torture of these Iberians would be punishable by death. He did not sleep easy that night and would never be able to sleep well for the rest of his life.

    Hugging the mountains that ran along the coast Rotenanko men set up camp just south west of Mastia Bisaltes the feared general of these men. Approached his horses were amazing. Silver adorned and wearing their own armour Rotentako was nervous Bisaltes had also major armoured Iberian fighters that Rotenanko had never seen. The men were restless as the Silver gleaning armour marched forward charging up hill Bisaltes lead the men and crashed into the spearman tasked with holding the line. Rotenanko shuddered he had some lighter cavalry forces and used them to flank and harass the army leading men away from the main battle. Some slingers He had his own which has been hired on route to Mastia were also flanking and Bisaltes rear was open letting off a volley of shots the massed silver Calvary began to fall the lighter Calvary rushed in and soon The General and his men were surrounded now the tables had turned. Rotenanko had been fighting along the line were he had slowly destroyed the weaker units of the army the Silver Iberian fighters who were fearsome had cut many of his men down and gutted some of his Bodyguard. A horn blew out and Bisaltes had been slain somewhere down the hillside the men looked up and faltered Rotenanko blew his own horn signalling the fight to continue soon enough the fearsome armour clad soldiers decided they had enough a rout began. Once again The rout lasted well into the next day A massacre in Mastia had finally quenched the blood thirst of Rotenanko and his rugged army. For a year and a half they had fought constantly losing many men on the way and killing many others.

    I have no more lost screen shots now im also pretty much caught up to where im at in the game. I have two more chapters for you. I have been experimenting with picturing editing tools and trying to think up ways to include more images but not overloading the chapters too much. So i should get the next one up in two days. Somtimes Real life just has to take precedence over the internet
