I'm Batman!
It would actually be very amusing to have somebody do this as part of a "How to Study/Write History" course (I know my college requires history majors to take one about the study of history, rather than about history itself, such as "Past and Present, Theory and Practice"). Perhaps you could require the student to write in a particular "style" of history (Rankian, Post-modernist bullcrap, etc.) in order to demonstrate their understanding of how history has been, and is, studied.
Good times.
Cheers.
P.S. No, I'm Batman.
