Controlling your army and Hotkeys
Once you're online you will choose your armysetup and then get to the battle.
You probably know about grouping you units, now there are two ways
Method 1
- the easy known way - ctrl + 1-9 to select the group, than you have alt + 1-6 to set a formation
If you have done this, you can select the groups by just hitting 1-9
Formations are tricky. Especially if you want to line up many units and/or different units. Another way to put the units in a "hard-sticky" formation is this: Select all units you want to group, than line it up (drag units and spread the way you want) and if they are in the formation you want it, press ctrl+*. Now the group will stick to this formation, you cant spread or change the formation anymore. (In the video Im doing it with the Cav)
If you want to redo it, just select the group and press "G".
There is one problem, it doesn't let you group single units, such as your general who you want to move solo.
Method 2
There are 4 Keys which let you select solo units - F1-F4 It works same as the hot-keys: select the unit and hit ctrl+F1-F4. Than after you can select the units by just hitting F1-F4.
