WTF? You must always post in this one.
So Train A is:
64x+22.4 (Because 21/60min is .35 which if multiplied with 64 gives 22.4)
And Train B is
92x
Where x is the amount of time passed.
Together they would be
(64x+22.4)(92x)=430
at the point where they meet.
blah, blah, blah some math aaaand...
After approximately 2.6128 hours.
Train A would have crossed 189.6192 km
Train B would have crossed 240.3869 km
For a total of .................. 430.006 km
So from Train A's perspective they would have met 189.6192/430=.4409 or after crossing 44% of the trip.
From Train B's perspective they would have met 240.3869/430=.559 or after crossing 55.9% of the trip.
44+55.9=99.9 or roughly 100% due to roundoff error.
Now you must stay in here Fixiwee.

lol that took me a half an hour to do.
lol, I will.
Dear Mikehunt,
If I were loyal to this thread, how would I go about destroying another thread which was attempting to undermine the strength of this gem of modern theories?
Glenn.
I believe the answer to your question is hidden somewhere in the many threads in the Frontroom already locked over the years. Try looking in them.
There is no need to worry about the other one, it's being "serious" which is code for boring.

Ok, here we go:
An 8-meter ladder is resting against a perfectly vertical wall. Suddenly, the bottom of the ladder slides away from that wall at a rate of 0.6 meters per second. How fast is the angle between the ladder and the ground changing when the top of the ladder is 1 meter from the ground?
This is a classic, btw.

ahhh...so this is the thread Glenn was referring to. Sorry, I had not checked it untill now and the name gave me no reason to believe that it was an advice thread. From what I have seen though, it is more of a humourous thread than a serious one though, so I can see reason for both existing. Sorry for infringing on you ACIN. I tell you what, I will even endorse your thread by asking you a question.
If a theoretical man (1) was madly in love with a theoretical woman (A) and wanted to marry her, but A had problems, because her father cheated on her mother when she was young, so she did not want to be in a physical relation with 1 until they were married. 1 loves A and for four years waits for her as they both go to school, with the intent of marrying in a year, then A tells 1 that she really needs physical attention, and the lack of it in the relation has turned it into more of a friendship. Now she has started a physical relationship with someone else (2). 1 is heart broken, but realises how ed up A's life has been, and the emotional problems she has, so after some desperate pleading, he lets her go. 1's heart is broken and he becomes unmotivated, lazy, his grades drop, he gets fat, he loses his job, and he becomes very depressed. He finally becomes active a year later, gets motivated, puts a little distance between him and A by going overseas, and is finally over her. He meets a girl he really likes overseas (B), and 1 and B see each other for about two months. 1 then finds out a day ago that 2 and A have been in a motorcycle crash which has left A mangled for life. 1 realises that he never got over her and his heart is broken again. Suddenly he feels guilty about his relationship with B (who is a very nice girl, and has never given him a reason to doubt her), and feels that it is his duty to go back to A now that she needs him. Common sense tells 1 to forget A and have a relationship with B, but common decency and a love he has never gotten over tells him to go back to A, even though it is not his duty. He is ruining his relationship with B, and cannot live with himself the way things are going now. What does 1 do? If he goes with B, does he leave A with no family to take care of her, and just pretend that those four years together never happened? How does he not live the rest of his life in guilt? In this theoretical question, what advice would you give?

The angle keeps getting smaller and smaller as the ladder falls to the ground. It takes the form of a changing triangle.
Calculus. *shivers*
EDIT: I would usually say "nice try," but it really wasn't a nice try.

How exactly is that unhelpful Meth?
The Appomination
I don't come here a lot any more. You know why? Because you suck. That's right, I'm talking to you. Your annoying attitude, bad grammar, illogical arguments, false beliefs and pathetic attempts at humour have driven me and many other nice people from this forum. You should feel ashamed. Report here at once to recieve your punishment. Scumbag.
@Meth
This is an advice thread, not a calculus class!
@Vuk
I would tell that guy he is in a seriously messed up situation, to run away from it all, and live in Mongolia. Whenever you need a paragraph to explain your situation the best thing to do is run away and live in Mongolia.
I need some advice ACIN.
I just pulled apart my laptop and fixed it but when I put it back together disaster stuck! I am missing a screw. Do you know who took my screw?

Lol, I thought it was pretty good advice.
