Yes, it looks like they will actually play games this next season. It will be interesting to see who plays where, and what teams can get it together. Unfortunately, they have destroyed their TV contracts, so the chances of seeing regular games on the idiot box are slim.

Hockey.. now that's a good sport. I used to watch it religiously on fox until about 5 years ago.

I used to watch 2-3 games a week when the NHL season was really going (usually from late January on, pre-Christmas games lacked the intensity). Stanley Cup playoff games are the best, the players give everything they have to win. I don't really like basketball, and baseball on TV is boring. Playoff hockey filled the gap between the Superbowl and preseason games, this year has been painful...

Rugby Union - playing and watching, a proper man's sport

Squash - playing, fast fun and easier than tennis

There are lots of sports I'd like to try, particularly American Football purely for the comparison with rugby, but fencing, martial arts, paintballing, shooting etc. could all be pretty good fun too.

I played college baseball (catcher) and was QB for my High School football
team- so those are my favorite . I have coached all my daughter's
soccer, basketball and fastpitch softball teams and enjoy it very much .
Now she is 14 and I only coach the softball. She is an excellent athlete.
