This is a cute rip-off of the classic "eye in the sky" by the Alan Parsons project
And the mould..
Belinda Carlisle started as a cult figure of the LA punk scene, initially as the drummer of the Germs, before becoming the singer of the new wave girl band the Go Go's. The band scored hits and were the first all girl band to play their instruments and write their songs.
Unfortunately they also were into cocaine and Belinda developed a serious addiction that was oversome by help from her eventual husband film producer Morgan Mason [he appears in the clip below]
This is originally by the european electro-pop-disco queen Sandra and her husband [michael cretu, later the force behind enigma]
As for me, i really like u2's rendition..
and something nice for the closure..

electronic were a supergroup of the late 80's early 90's, made up chiefly by Johny Marr [guitarist and composer of the smiths] and Bernard Sumner [vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist, lyricist and composer of New Order]. The pet shop boys also heavily participated in their first album of the same name, while for the second Karl Bartos of kraftwerk made contributions.
This is from their third and final album of the same name [twisted tenderness]
"One" was the song that brought it all together for u2 and their first 90's album "Achtung baby", recorded in Berlin and in Ireland.
The band was looking for a new direction in order not to repeat their 80s selfs with bono and the edge wanting to experiment with ethnic, electro and industrial sounds, and adam clayton and larry mullen wanting to stick to the classic rock sounds the band was known for.
After several frustrating weeks of tensions and disagreements that led nowhere, the band sat to improvise and behold, they got effortlessly "one".. the rest of the album soon followed suit..
One has three video clips - the original shows buffalos running in the fields, the official one was directed as any other of the period, and lastly there is one set in a jamming session in Berlin to relate the story behind the song..
very "streets have no name" like..
Especially dedicated to all you dismissive avoidant types out there

Salve Regina... I'm still stuck in TW Medieval 1
Bring Back Buck
Distinctly orthodox - its a templar chant, hence you hear the eastern "ison" behind [its that monotonous drone tone/sound behind it all that keeps the melody "straight", ison means straight in greek]
Beautiful, thank you for that..!
Pretty nice, if you ask me..
maybe you need a psychoanalyst..
