yes, I have noticed that too. Here is what the mod details mention:\

a disease system that affects gameplay without becoming tedious and depressing.

Now I just went through the Plague but I have noticed avatar diseased when sitting in cities.

I don't know about the stars. The avatars fighting seem to pick the stars slowly and I don't know why.

The fall of Hamburg brought down the wrath of the Papacy the English are excommunicated for the hostilities on the Papacy’s allies the Scots. The Count of the Midlands had eased up his siege and was allowing humanitarian aid to the city. The garrison of the city deserted and the city surrendered.
However, the rift is much deeper then the hostilities. The King is not popular with his people or his troops. There is great admiration for the Duke of Normandy by the court or even his brother Symond, Count of the Midlands. The King favours Edmund, Lord of Nuremburg has a possible heir. He only has two daughters from and no sons from his marriage.
While posted for many years in Italy the King was developing different ideas that he should have a say in church officials. He did not make time to attend Rome to have an audience with the Pope. At the death of Edward’s father King George he began to make changes the first was naming the new Archbishop of the Realm Laurence Mortimer from Genoa replacing the Pope’s choice Archbishop of the Realm Howard Hewlinge from London. The English clergy in the College of Cardinals are split over the whole issue. The King is in control of vast lands and the New World that has just been recently discovered. The game victory conditions were not met. I just ran out of turns. However, that was not the true objective. I did have some house rules that I tried my best to follow but the objective was to find the titles in the mod. It added a nice flavour to the game.
I have never gone this far in the game or seen the New World. I was inclined to continue but I thought it best to end at this point and move on to something new.
It has been very interesting and enjoyable. A game victory condition would have been the icing on the cake.
I hope it was an good read and appreciated the comments. I learned a lot on how to create an AAR and will have to do another in the future.

Congratulations Northnovas. I've seen very few AARs that make it all the way to the end. Good Job!

I now feel compelled to keep hammering away at my own.

    Congrats on the AAR NN!

The English are by far my favorite faction to play SP. It's been fun to watch you go through the game and get cool titles.
