i've just installed M2TW on a new computer but it doesn't seem to have a save file i ave got some saves.

One Question:

How will we operate the diplomacy side of things, as obviolsy sending diplomats to a player control faction is not going to have any impact?

Didz, we already started, so unless everyone doesn't midn repeating turn 1, you might be too late (of course you can take over for players who drop out).

sirnoob, create a folder called "saves" in your M2TW root folder. That's where the save goes.

i'm sorry i think i'll have to drop out i got the file made a saves folder and did my turn but now i can't find the save i made after my turn unless anyone can help i'm out.

Just do a search on the filename you used with the save. If you called it MPCX-6 after your turn just do a Windows search for 'MPCX-6.sav' and it'll turn up.

Don't sweat it, we're all pretty much new to this so there are a few kinks to work out.
