Should I get a PS3 or Xbox 360?

Well I got 2 Xbox360.
One has the old hardware and the other one has the new.
And I can tell you right now, that the one with the new hardware is alot more quiet then the old one.
When I turned it on for the first time I had to check wether the thing was turned on or not because I couldn't hear it.
The DVD drive makes the same noise as a regular DVD player makes but also a nice improvement over the chainsaw noise that the old one makes.
