Note: This was going to be called Teletubby Mafia, but I couldn't think of any ideas for a decent storyline. Sorry to anybody that was looking forward to game of that title
A Brothel, in the year 1555. A place of secrets, whispers and truths, all contained within a large wooden house in a tiny backstreet ally of Old London Town.
Recently, a band of Puritan men have infiltrated the brothel with the aim of ending the "heretical and immoral" practices occurring between it's walls. They have concluded that there is no other way of doing this other than by killing all the clients and the women within the house to remove the scourge from the streets. In vengeance, the Brothel owners have secured the exits and have declared a daily lynch vote with the aim of locating and removing the killers.
Roles:
Clients (the equivalent of an ordinary townie)
Prostitutes (ordinary townies with a twist)
Various pro-prostitute roles (e.g. role-blocker, detective e.c.t)
Puritans (mafia)
Secret roles
The clients are ordinary townies. They can no nothing other than vote and post their thoughts.
The prostitutes are like the ordinary townies, but they are in sorted into a set of small groups of fellow prostitutes (three or four people). These groups are comparable to those of "The Brotherhood - Part II", a mafia game I hosted a while back, only without the infiltrators.
Essentially, the prostitutes know the identity of other people in their group and can protect or kill targets with others in their group on night phases assigned to them. All choices made by the group must be unanimously made and all members must send me a PM.
The prostitute groups also have a defence mechanism provided to them. If any members of a prostitute group have attempts made on their life, they have a chance of survival due to the protection provided by other group members. There is a 50% chance of survival when all three group members are alive and 25% when two group members are alive. This does not apply if the group is performing actions on that night however.
If the group is reduced to one member through any method, the surviving member is powerless and, like a client, can do nothing but vote. The defence mechanism is also removed.
There will be at least of two of these groups, but depending upon how many sign up, this may be increased to three.
The number and type of pro-client roles are going to remain secret, unless the role holder reveals, till the end of the game.
The Puritans are this games version of the mafia. There are at most three of them in total. Each Puritan can choose to kill one person every two nights by sending me a PM.
The Secret Roles, as indicated by the term secret, remain unknown until the end of the game.
Bear in mind that none of the above will be stuck to as if it were law - although the basic model will remain the same, some variations may exist to confuse players and add a bit of interest here and there.
General Rules:
Night phases will end after approximately twenty four hours, while day phases will last approximately forty eight hours in total.
Unsuccessful kills will not be reported publicly, although the participants will be informed that they were attacked/their attack failed.
This game will use the WoG (wrath of god) function. This will used to kill of players who are inactive (fail to post through two successive day phases without good reason) and break the player-side rules (stated below).

To sign up simply post "In" below. I'll start when I feel that I'm unlikely to receive any more players (forty-eight hours without any sign-ups). I would like at least twenty players, although a larger number of players are welcome.
