Mmmmm, you know, on a nice sunny day I find that there is nothing more pleasurable than to sit down with friends or a good book at a local coffee shop on the waterfront and enjoy a coffee and some cigarettes.
I know that they give you cancer, but to be honest at 19 I just don't want to put that in the way of my enjoyment, does anyone else at the .org also enjoy coffee and cigarettes?

I prefer to drag my favourite wooden chair out into the garden on sunny days, and sit there watching the clouds while chain smoking and drinking a can of coke. Truly quite enjoyable.
Sometimes i even get some extension cords and bring my speakers out as well, a bit of nice quiet music. Those are good days.

This aint no place fo haters bra...
So as we continue on this delightful reflection, what may I inquire is your favourite combo of coffee and cigarettes?
As in, the type?
For me it's a short black Arabica and Marlboro Lites, ugh...

Ah, coffee and cigarettes in the morning...
When I was a student, this was my daily morning ritual:
- get up;
- start the coffee machine;
- grab cigarettes (my favourite were L&M, but I also liked Marlboro), light cigarette;
- grab cup of coffee, lighter, pack of cigarettes;
- switch on the radio;
- open the window;
- sit on the window sill (my room was at the second floor), one leg outside, one leg inside or both legs on the sill;
- relax and enjoy the coffee, the cigarettes and the view...
Quit smoking about 6 years ago though and I'm no longer a student.
Cigarette has been replaced with chocolate, and the window sill has been replaced by my garden. I actually wake up 10 to 15 minutes earlier than necessary each day, to have my short morning ritual, right after breakfeast: just me, a cup of coffee, one chocolate bar, the green grass and the birds in the trees.
On a sunny day in the week-ends, it's me, a cup of coffee, a chocolate bar, the green grass, the birds and my lovely wife. The 10 to 15 minutes often end up in an hour or even longer and sometimes we just sit there, talking, enjoying each others company and the sun until it's time for lunch :smitten:
Happiness is in small things :sunny:
I smoke but not a lot, 5 a 6 ciggies a day, sometimes brandy-dipped cigars. Love coffee, really need it in the morning, usually Illy espresso but I also like Santos beans. In the afternoon it's tea baby.

The cigarettes? Not so much. The coffee? Count me in!
Reading the newspaper and drinking my coffee on the weekend? Sounds great to me.
My usual morning routine consists of browsing the net and chatting for 1-2 hours, then slowling getting read for the day/breakfast, sometimes i may forget about the breakfast though, yes, even when I'm hungry. :shrug:
Coffee is nice, drink it as well now and then but no ciggies and usually not in the morning simply because I'm hooked to my laptop and getting to the kitchen would require me to stand up...
Reminds me i need to go to the toilet since half an hour... :juggle2:
Some fruits plus 2 Espressi & a nice cigarette in the morning for me please!
Thank you...

The only way to greet the day:
Burnt Offering and Offering the Fruits of yesterday's Labor.
It honors Earth-Father. :bow:
Being a lowly peasant, the incense must come from a Marlboro, and 'Fruits' from a can of Folger's. But E-Dad understands.
Both of those items disgust me...

Both of those items disgust me...how do you feel about scalding hot pus?
uhhhh, it depends where it comes from? Kind of a strange question...

Personally, I prefer beer to coffee: more relaxing, not a stimulant (I hate stimulants) and it tastes better. As for cigarettes...

I never smoke... cigarettes.

Nothing quite like a good caffiene/nicotine combo in the morning, in my opinion.

Coffee.... ick. Give me a good oolong or green tea any day.
As for cigarettes... anything cheap will do.

Oh yeah at Leuven I also sit on sill but then usually befoe going to sleep. Or sometimes when a freind or two drop by we end up sitting and talking on the sill. Even though I had a garden, was usually sitting on the sill. Those are some good times.

I dislike both of them, coffee just tastes odd, while cigarettes, as well as slowly murdering you, also destroy your external appearance (both through the smell, and encouraging the appearance of wrinkles)
I prefer green tea with a hint of something personally. It tastes awful on its own, but fine if its mixed with something additional. To replace the cigarette, I wouldn't mind a selection of chocolate biscuits. Due to my general healthy policy, however, I choose a bowl of one of those posh cereals (Oats & More is my personal favourite at the moment).
That policy sounds very much like the one my great uncle used to have before he died (of lung cancer aged 59 - I was about twenty at the time). He used to totally skip breakfast, replacing it with one cigarette and a cup of coffee, and have an early lunch (11:00ish). Really didn't do him much good on the health front.

I don't smoke with coffee, but cigs + pot/alcohol=:2thumbsup:
I'm sure nicotine with caffeine is enjoyable too.
I don't smoke, but I am trying to get into the habit of having a cup of coffee with breakfast. Makes me feel ill drinking coffee so early in the day, but otherwise I struggle to wake up enough to get anything done in the morning.

Coffee: espresso, usually doubles, usually with milk and no sugar in the morning, and sugar and no milk for desert. And I don't do ciggarrettes. Occasional cubans though.
I like my coffee like a like my women: strong and bitter :shame:

^^ Last time I went for nine months without a smoke. It felt really good...
...but, I've relapsed and am enjoying my coffee/smokes in the morning again, before I give them up for good!
The magic combination for me is... Marlboro lights and a fresh americana.

Caffiene and cigerettes, but i prefer my caffiene in coca cola form... and then swop the cigerette for a joint... sit back and relax... possibly with a movie...
