Night Four
A solemn figure approaches the balcony of DOOP headquarters, and takes aim with his stun weapon... aiming directly at Kif Kroker. However, another figure approaches from the shadows, wearing almost nothing and winking seductively. The figure on the balcony drops his weapon and almost cracks a smile, as he is led away...

Meanwhile, Kif Kroker looks up at the balcony and is very sad to see the other figure being led away, and gasps audibly. However, he also notices that another figure is standing behind him.
The vigilante attempts to snap Kroker's neck, however he doesn't have any bones whatsoever. His body is supported by a system of fluid-filled bladders. kif Kroker pleads with his attacker not to kill him, that he's never done anyone any wrong, and that he's desperately trying to find the real killer.
It doesn't matter however, because the attacker is relentless and certain. Kroker slips out of the stranglehold and leaps to the ceiling, and begins to crawl away as quickly as possible. However, the vigilante reaches for the phaser, pulls it out and sets it to maximum.
Kif Kroker was almost vaporized, but then Hypnotoad remembered that Kif Kroker was immune to vigilante killings as per his role PM and then smacked his head against a wall repeatedly...

Phillip J. Fry is sitting in his chair, eagerly scarfing pizza, drinking beer, and enjoying his last moments on Earth. Suddenly, from behind him, he hears shuffling footsteps.
He turns to see a familiar face. Too stupid to realize his death is imminent, he muffles a salutation to the figure, but cannot speak as his mouth is full. The Omicron Agent pulls out a small device, and pushes a button. A beaming energy sword flashes into existence.
Fry gulps down the last of his food. "Awesome! A real lightsaber! I always wanted one of those!" He reaches for it.
The Omicron Agent lops off his hand.
"Ow! That hurt! You'd better pay for that hand, it cost me a hundred DOOP credits! Plus several more just to reattach it." Fry said, as he poked his finger against the agent's chest.
The Omicron Agent lops off Fry's other hand.
Fry: "Hey! What are you trying to do, wise guy! I guess I could have been clearer. Don't slice off any more of my hands!"
The Omicron Agent lops off Fry's left foot.
Fry: "Owwww! Listen, if you don't stop slicing off my appendages, I am going to get really mad. Someone help me! Anyone, please help me!"
The Omicron Agent lops off Fry's other foot.
Fry: "All right, what do you say we call it a draw? You may have won this round, but I clearly have the superior intellect. I've got you completely surrounded. There's limbs on all sides of you!"
The Omicron Agent took the lightsaber and prepared to slice off Fry's head, and sighed at the prospect of doing so.
Fry: "It looks like this is it. I have one final request. I want to tell Leela that I love her... could you tell her for me?"
The Omicron Agent nodded, and began to shed several tears. The agent clearly did not want to do this... but seemed to have no choice. The lightsaber swung through the air with a whoosh...

I dont think Zapp is the vig, or did he cry a little when he thought Kif died in the show...I cant remember.
I don't think the mafia is Leela, because the write-up says Fry recognized who it was that killed him, and he doesn't usually refer to people in the third person. On the other hand, either Kif or Morbo was mafia, as there was only one mafia kill this time.

Perhaps the agent is indeed Leela - if you think about it, if I was going to be attacked by my lover, and if they were somehow hiding their face, I wouldn't know it was them and so probably would say "tell x I love them". The way the agent behaved somehow makes me think they were being controlled by some host or other and lacked concious thought? Just randomly speculating, but anyhow.
Now, if you don't mind me asking, who, in user name terms, is Leela?

Well I'm not sure where to go here. First of all Swedish Fish you've been eritaic this round both in your acussations (many of which have very little depth.) and in missing important points (I've revealed as Leela at least five times in the thread, Fenrings death, ect.... I don't know exactly what to make about your lack of knowlege wouldn't a mafia know who died and who didn't? Then again there is WIFOM so not alot on the last part can be said. As for the reasons for my kills I've pretty much alredy explained them in the thread, both of you seemed the most supicious and I was trying to knock out potential scum.
El Diablo I'm also not sure what to think about gut instincts his reveal (role blocker) is innocent and thus by extension makes Fahad (Zapp) innocent. However if El Diablo is Scum then the only thing I have to say is well played indead.
Areis (EF before) was proven innocent already IIRC.
Omanes, is also puzzling he was lurking eariler this game but now seems to have taken a more active role. I havn't played many games with you, so I don't know your playing style. I'm not sure what to think.
Also I would caution against using the write up to much in our clues. It's proven more of a red hearing then anything else. Its already caused a useless genocide against the robots.
As it stands now I'm going to have to rest with SF. If I'm wrong then I guess we still have one more night.

Regarding mafia not knowing who died and who didnt, it doest necessary clear SwedishFish as it could be a cunning tactic pretending to be a inocet townie.
However yes mafia would be more attaintive in the game and would recognise who died and who didt.
Then again judging from whats happeing right now, it can be said that mafia (if it is SwedishFish) got the hit from everyone getting confused about who died and what not and followed the trend.
This is just a huge WIFOM to confuse the town.. I think its the stage where use 30 percent logic (so that you dont lynch confirmed innocents :smash:) and 70 percent gut.

Turanga Leela listened to the vote tally, and she immediately began to cry. Zapp Brannigan immediately came over to comfort her.
"Listen baby, when this is all over, I'll take you back to my place and we will make sweet love. There's no need to cry..."
Professor Farnsworth also approached Leela. "There's nothing to fear, Leela. The brain-slugs are completely painless and can be easily removed. We just have to be sure you haven't been compromised by the incredibly powerful Omicronians, who still have an agent among us."
Leela stopped them right there. "It's not that. I've been under orders by DOOP high command to attempt to destroy the Omicronians, by any means necessary. I've... I've... been order to neutralize anyone who might have been compromised." Leela continued to cry... "I was the one who killed Hermes Conrad. He was... acting suspiciously... I didn't want to..." Leela sobbed.
"Then, I tried to kill you, Kif. I'm sorry, I am so sorry. Go ahead... slug me. I deserve it for not catching the Omicron Agent."
Professor Farnsworth just shook his head, clearly moved by Leela's plight, and also began to cry. But, acting under the orders of the DOOP council, he placed the brain slug on Leela's head.

Final night:
Kif Kroker sits in his room thinking about his near-death experience. Just then, someone entered.
Kif: "Y... you! It was you all along!!! How could we have been so blind?"
"Oh, yes... but I want you to know that even though I must kill you, it's nothing personal. There's a very good reason for what I am doing."
Kif: "I couldn't think of ANY good reason to betray us to the Omicronians.... and how could I not see? You've been right in front of us the whole time."
"Aren't you curious as to why I'm not dead yet?"
Kif: "Of course! You should have been dead a long time ago... But what about the vital clue... what about the zeroes and ones?"
"Come now... you should be able to figure out what it means now. There's not many options left."
Kif: I'm going to warn the others!
"I don't think so, frog boy!"
Just then, the Agent pulled out a strange looking device, and aimed it at Kif. It fired a beam of energy at the wall behind him.
Kif: "You missed! Now I can go tell everyone you've betrayed us!"
The wall behind Kif suddenly imploded, and everything in the room was sucked into the swirling vortex. A black hole swallowed Kif Kroker, and he faded into oblivion.
The Agent turned off the machine, and the black hole collapsed. Just then, he took off his infrared-blocking suit, and joined the others in the main hall.

In the main hall of the DOOP headquarters, the Freem cannon was about to be unveiled. Professor Farnsworth was standing next to it.
"Good news, everyone! I've finally completed the Freem cannon! Now, Earth will not be destroyed!"
Amy Wong, Zapp Brannigan, and the Neutral President were all that remained of the DOOP committee. They all gave a heartfelt applause to Professor Farnsworth.
"The only thing remaining is to destroy the one thing which stands in our way of total victory." said the Professor. He turned on the Freem Cannon, and aimed it directly into the atmosphere, towards the Omicronian Fleet, which was still bombarding the deflector shield.
The Professor fired the Planetary Defense Anti-Orbital Bombardment Freem Tachyon Ion Disruptor Cannon directly at the Omicronian Mothership.
The Freem Ion blast shot through the sky like the wrath of God, and entered the upper atmosphere. There, it came into contact with the Earth deflector shield, and overloaded the shield matrix. The deflector shield fell.
Amy Wong: "Oh no, professor! You've accidentally destroyed the deflector by mistake!"
Professor Farnsworth: "I'm afraid not, my young intern. I've been under the control of the Omicronians the entire time. They implanted a small nuclear warhead inside my brain, and told me they would spare the rest of humanity if I simply deactivated the deflector shield. Unfortunately, I couldn't get to the controls because they are under heavy guard. The only thing I could do was use the Freem Cannon, which I intended to use against the Omicronians, to destroy the deflector shield."
Amy Wong gasped in horror.
Farnsworth: And now, my young intern... a quick, painless death. I'm terribly sorry.
Farnsworth aimed the Freem Cannon at Amy Wong and fired. Half of the DOOP headquarters was destroyed, along with Amy Wong.
Zapp Brannigan was the next to speak up. "What should we do about this so-called Neutral President?"
Farnsworth: "Sadly, he switched alignment to DOOP at the last minute. Had he remained Neutral, or joined, us, I could let him live. I'm sorry, mister President."
Neutral President: "So I am about to die. Tell my wife I said hello."
Zapp: Don't you want to know what the clues were?"
Neutral President: "Not particularly."
Professor Farnsworth fired the Freem Cannon at the Neutral President and destroyed him. All that remained was Zapp Brannigan.
Zapp: "Do I get to have all the females in the Pink Nebula now?"
Farnsworth: "Of course, you idiot! Now get out of here before the Omicronians decide to kill you as well."
Lrrr, the Supreme High Commander of the Omicronian Invasion Force, arrived via teleporter.
Lrrr: "So, have the humans surrendered yet?"
Farnsworth: "The defense shield is inactive, sir, and Earth has no remaining resistance. They spent last year's defense budget on a Bridge to The Parallel Universe, and other assorted pork barrel projects. Not to mention the war with the Energetic Plasma Species from the Iraqanianstan Galaxy, so most of Earth's guard forces are deployed in Far Outer Space. Surely, the idiots in Earth Congress will surrender as soon as we present your demands."
Lrrr: Very good, Professor, I knew we could count on you. Your reward is inside our mothership. Teleport aboard at once.
Farnsworth: "You will not be exterminating Earth, correct?"
Lrrr: "As promised. Your forcing their surrender eliminated the need for a violent bloodbath. Now, we will merely enslave the human race, instead of eat them."

Epilogue:
The population of Earth was enslaved by Omicron Persei 8. Professor Hubert J Farnsworth was encased in a cryogenic suit which allowed him to become immortal, and he continued working on his many inventions to improve the lives of the Omicronians, and their human pets.
Zapp Brannigan was escorted to the Pink Nebula, where he was snoo-snoo'ed by umpteen billion sexy females, until his pelvis exploded. He died with a smile on his face.
Those with brain-slugs attached were shipped off towards the sun, where they were incinerated. The robots were recycled for scrap metal.
Thanks to the efforts of Hubert J Farnsworth, the population of Earth was not destroyed. However, contrary to his promise, Lrrr the Supreme Commander of Omicron Persei 8 continued to butcher and devour male humans, and use their prized human horn as an aphrodisiac for snoo-snoo with his wife, Ndnd.
And Lrrr and his wife lived happily ever after.

Clue number one: Two sets of win conditions for town and mafia.
Clue number two: Professor Farnsworth was in most, if not all, of the lynch posts.
Clue number three: The Neutral president, Farnsworth, and Zapp Brannigan are the main characters in the opening scene.
Clue number four: From the Day One lynch:
"That may be so, Doctor Zoidberg, but Earth is one of the few planets in the cosmos to try democracy as a form of government. Either we give it a try, or we surrender to the conquerors at our doorstep."
Clue number five: Night One murder:
Bender was murdered by an electromagnet, and the professor hid from infrared scans with a cloaking suit. Technology is the clue, as I will demonstrate.

Fahad I: consonant vowel consonant vowel consonant 1 I gave away the identities of both Omicron-aligned players. Biggest hint of all.
Clue number seven: The Day Two Lynch: conforms directly to everyone's character and votes, in order. This reveals the identity of the professor, who should have died the next day if he were town.
Clue number eight: The Night Two murder: reveals the Omicron agent is not alone, and reveals the agent to be human (or anything which might want to eat a lobster, thus negating any robots as the agent itself).
Clue number nine: Zapp Brannigan was blocked. However, his role is to defend the professor, not to kill anyone. He was mistakenly thought to be innocent.
"Snapped his neck"... likely Turanga Leela as the vigilante, as she knows martial arts.
Murder: Rocket fuel... keeping with the technology theme.
Clue number ten: Day four lynch... links the professor and Zapp, as the professor smiles at Zapp knowingly... approving of his move to make himself appear more innocent.
Clue number eleven: Night Four murder: The one who kills Fry appears to be very close to him. But it's not Leela.
Clue number twelve. Farnsworth cries because he doesn't want to do something... in the night Four murder, and the day five lynch.
6 days before the end of the game, I posted in the original post that the second win conditions for town were bogus, just in case anyone was paying attention.
The professor was the one who would kill, and Zapp was aligned to him, to defend him. If the professor had been blocked by ANY of the several blocking roles, mafia would have been unable to win, because you would have figured out who the mafioso were.
Roleblocking is like investigating... I gave mafia an advantage with the misdirection in the original post, seemingly clearing Farnsworth. But if he were blocked, you would have figured it out. When his role was revealed in the day two lynch, and mafia did not kill him, that was a second major clue. When I revealed the identities of the two agents with "010101", town had all the cards necessary to figure it out.
Sorry for the extra set of win conditions designed to throw you off, but given all the advantages town had, it was the only way to give mafia a fair game. Hope you had fun anyway!

As with my simpsons mafia, I gave mafia an advantage and worked tirelessly to help town the entire game.

I spent the whole game trying not to let on who the Professor was...
I could not figure out how the mafia could not kill Omanes. I thought that they must have to kill his "bodyguards" to get to him.

Once the captain of your own starship, Nimbus: BP-1729, you were captured, tortured, and blackmailed by the Omicronians. Now your task is to defend the Omicronian Agent, Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth. Your alignment is Omicronian (Mafia).
Work with Farnsworth to destroy all Townies, and all the babes from the Pink Nebula will be yours. Should you fail, and the Omicronians will eat your prized "human horn". If Farnsworth should die, you become the next Omicronian Agent. You are presently the Omicronian Double Agent.
Your special ability is to protect Professor Farnsworth from a lynch or a vigilante kill. If Farnsworth is targeted, you die instead, heroically saving his life, ostensibly to protect the Earth and the Democratic Order Of Planets, but really to allow Farnsworth to continue his mission.
The way I designed the game, the Omicronian Agent alone has the ability to decide who gets murdered. However, if you have not heard from your partner, you are allowed to make the kill in his absence. And if you both decide it's OK, Farnsworth can "promote" you and allow you to choose the kills instead of him. By default, whatever he says goes because he presently outranks you as the Omicronian Agent.
You only get one kill per night, but the way I've written the story, I do not believe that town will suspect Farnsworth (I could be wrong). Unless someone gets brave and decides to axe Farnsworth or everyone decides to vote for him, Mafia should have what it needs to win. Just make sure you don't act too suspicious.
Should you need to send me the kill for any reason, your message will count unless overruled by Farnsworth's kill vote. Email me at Askthepizzaguy@yahoo.com to send me the kill vote, or just shoot the breeze. Feel free to ask me any questions if you are curious for advice on how to roleplay your character. Roughly 168 years old, Professor Hubert Farnsworth is Fry's distant nephew and closest living relative. Farnsworth founded Planet Express (a delivery company which uses the Planet Express Starship to send packages across the galaxy) to fund his mad-scientist-esque experiments and inventions. You are one of the scientists who built the deflector shield which is currently protecting Earth from Omicronian orbital bombardment, and the inventor of the partially completed space cannon which would be able to destroy the Omicronian fleet. You were very close to single-handedly winning the Battle of Earth by completing this cannon. However, all that is in the past.
Your brilliant mind attracted the attention of the Omicron Persei VIII High Command. You have been kidnapped, brainwashed, and convinced that Earth needs to be conquered and enslaved by the Omicronians. If you succeed in defeating your former friends of the Planet Express company and their allies, you will be made immortal by the highly advanced cryogenic suit the Omicronians have designed. Your brilliant inventions will continue to bring ease and enjoyment to all beings under Omicronian rule. If you fail, the Omicronians will detonate a tiny nuclear warhead implanted inside your brain, which will destroy everyone you need to kill on this mission anyway.
The giant space cannon you're building is not going to be used against the Omicronians, but against the highly advanced deflector shield which is protecting Earth from further orbital bombardment. If you manage to destroy every Earth-aligned person at D.O.O.P. Headquarters, you will be able to successfully fire the weapon at the deflector shield, which will cause the Omicronians in orbit to force the surrender of Earth.
In a sense, by completing this mission, you spare Earth needless bloodshed and war. You will become immortal, and your inventions will make the lives of Omicronians and Earthlings better. Fail, and you die along with all of your former friends, and eventually the Omicronians will penetrate the deflector shield anyway, and destroy most of the beings on Earth in a hellish final Holocaust. Your alignment, obviously, is Mafia, and you are the Omicronian Agent.

...and breaths* Wow, you have no idea how many times I was hitting my head against the wall as I watched ED and LW (no offense, you worked with what you had :bow:) literally steer the whole thing away from ATPG clues and away from Omanes and Fahad. I had almost everything figured out by night 2, it wasn't until night 3-4 that I was able to pin Omanes as the final mafiasio, simply because ATPG misdirected me (and I niavely let him ~;p) about the night two kill. Congrats to the mafia, though you managed to duck under the radar quite well (don't know how though...)

Town notes:
If Professor Farnsworth is killed, he will be unable to finish building the Freem Cannon, which is the only weapon which will allow the DOOP (Town) to fight back against the Omicronian Fleet.
This was pretty much why I was trying to keep Omanes alive.

That was the intended effect of the misdirect. If someone, anyone, had blocked Omanes... it would have been all over. There were two roleblockers who lived until the very end of the game, too.
Yes, and that is why I initially believed ATPG. But look at the victory conditions again...they are redundant.

The 010101 clue was ingenious, but it also was obscure. I spent hours trying to ponder what it could mean. Although I was looking at the characters names rather than the list of players :wall:.

No offence taken at all. I had the charcters nailed down by night two but I could not crack it.
I had suspicions of Fahad I but after I blocked him one night and their were two kills I thought that he must be innocent.
