Chaotix27,Quintus.JC,Aries these guys are the Mafia....they just don't want us to kill the zombies too quickly.....and I find it troubling that they are not targeting the zombies.....I mean if we don't kill them tonight, there well be 3 to 6 more zombies....:help:

Day Six
The town tried to lynch the zombie Wiggum, but unfortunately, they could not. Even if they could catch the zombie, only those with firearms could deliver the fatal blow. And none would step forward and claim that they had a firearm, for fear of being labelled a mafia. Mr Burns was the only one so far who had been brave enough to show he had a gun, and he wasn't willing to give it up. He's also a terrible shot.
Zombies cannot be lynched, but you're allowed to try.

Here's my conclusion: Zombies are able to vote, but not able to be lynched. However, they can be killed by the mafia. They are also green on ATPG's list. For this reason, I believe they are probably neutral. Perhaps it is that the zombies are even pro-town, considering that killing the mafia is the only way to ensure their survival. Maybe, and this is a stretch, they work sort of like vigilante's. If we manage to get rid of all the mafia, we may then have to defeat the zombies. Or we may not, and we just get victory.
I don't think we should worry about them too much any longer. It's not like we can do anything to them anyway. And no, my gun doesn't give me a night action. I think it's either self-defense, or just ATPG's little way of screwing the town over further by making me look suspicious. :clown:

Night Six:
Just as Otto Mann was settling in for the evening, the zombie mayor Quimby showed up and rang the doorbell.
Otto: "Yeah?"
Quimby: "Vote Quimby...."
Otto: "Sorry Mayor dude, but I'm not even registered to vote. To tell you the truth, I'm not even sure this is my house."
The mayor promptly bit his neck, and Otto Mann fell to the floor, and bled to death. His body was not found in the morning.

Dr. Julius Hibbert had just raised Professor Frink from the dead, when suddenly Clancy Wiggum broke into the hospital and grabbed a bone saw. Seeing the doctor was engrossed in the operation, Wiggum took the bone saw and sliced Hibbert's arm off. As Hibbert fell to the ground in pain, Wiggum began eating his arm.
Hibbert tried to fight back but lost consciousness due to the blood loss and the sight of his own arm being consumed by the pig-like zombie. His body was not found in the morning.

Comic book guy was armed to the teeth. He was wearing his medieval armour, circa 1080 AD, and was equipped with a laser scanning optical tracking device which fit over his helm. He was carrying a sword, a dagger, and other geek memorabilia, but he was also carrying the only working Romulan disruptor from the Star Trek series, several live grenades painted to look like they came from the Resident Evil 4 game, and a "light saber" which was actually more like a focused cutting torch, slightly modified to look like a light saber.
He saw the monster enter the hospital, and he knew this was where he must hunt the beast. After taking the service elevator (the regular elevator could only hold a maximum of 2000 pounds) to the third floor, he used his laser tracking device to follow a trail of ooze and blood to the body of Dr. Julius Hibbert, where the monster was feeding.
He pulled out a flash grenade and chucked it into the room. The monster was stunned by the sudden light, and staggered in confusion. The Comic Book Guy then used his phaser to slice the zombie's legs off and blast him in the head several times. As the creature lay in agony, he grabbed his "light saber" and torched the festering corpse, slicing its head off and cutting his torso diagonally.
The foul beast was no more, and Comic Book Guy left in search of other zombies to slay, completely oblivious to the fact that Dr. Julius Hibbert was still breathing.
YLC is revived by Dr. Hibbert as Professor Frink. You can still consider them separate players.

Starting now, the following changes are implemented:
48 hour voting phases for day, and 24 hours for night actions. Get your night actions in beforehand if you're not sure you can make it.
Due to a misjudgment on my part, I allowed zombies to vote in one round. That should not have happened, but I didn't have a rule against it. I see that this creates an unfair situation for town. From this moment on, zombies cannot vote.
Lord Winter is WOG'ed due to over 5 days of inactivity.

TevashSzat has 4 of the possible 8 votes. It's possible that there could be a tie, so as much as I'd like to advance the round I cannot do that fairly at the moment. Several hours remain, and I need to get moving.
I also know others are waiting on me to finish the game so theirs can start; unfortunately I don't know how much longer it will take.
I want everyone to check this thread and their private messages regularly, some players have hidden abilities which should be active soon.

Night Seven
Moe the bartender broke into the Kwik-E-Mart and began hunting down some... "Indian food". Apu was hiding behind the counter with his new shotgun.
"Come on, you filthy stinking corpse... Apu has a complimentary trip to the heavens to visit Vishnu. Just don't touch my carefully arranged magazines."
Moe turned towards the soft muttering and began stalking forward. Apu stood up and aimed his weapon, then pulled the trigger.
The weapon backfired, and Apu was knocked in the face with the recoil. The noise made the zombie run away out the window, but Apu was left bleeding pretty badly. This angered the usually calm and cheerful Hindu.
"Thank you, come again! I'll see you in hell!"
-one of Apu's "lives" was lost in the attack.

Doctor Julius Hibbert was wandering through the hospital, looking for fatty flesh to consume.
As he rounded a corner, he saw the Comic Book Guy. He roared with delight, which caused the huge nerd to turn his head and fire a phaser shot at the zombies' head.
The zombie was blinded, and began tipping backwards. It collided with a glass window and fell down to the parking garage below.
When Comic Book Guy finally waddled to the window however, there was no sign of the zombie.

Diamond Joe Quimby wandered towards the Frink Lab, blood oozing from his eyes and face.
The Frinkmeister was arming himself with his anti-zombie chronometric molecular discombobulator but did not see Quimby sneak up on him. When he turned and tried to fire, it was too late.
The Frinky one had his tasty, tasty brain eaten by zombies.

Odd... I suppose Snake could still be alive, although it's unlikely... I'm pretty sure it was Smowz (as Otto, before he was turned into a zombie). We probably just have to get rid of the remaining zombies to win, but we can do that during a lynch. Should we just waste a lynch on the zombies and then leave it to Aries and me and my gang to take down the zombies?
That's me, Quintus, and glyphz, by the way: as a safety net for the town in the event there are zombies left after all the mafia are dead, we become zombie slayers to take 'em all down. So just sit back and watch us knock'em dead!

I think the clue for Snake was the always smelled like "wacky tabaccy." So it was likely Otto.
I'm also glad y'all finally got Tevash. I had sued him on night one, blocking his action.
But the vigilante killed me before I could make the connection between the no Itchy and Scratchy kill, and my own action. And it wouldn't have been fair for me to say anything post mortem..

The Golden Rule mafia game is set to begin once one of the current small games is finished. I'm next in line.
This is not your usual Simpsons/Futurama themed Askthepizzaguy game, and there will be no roleplaying. You will all be yourselves, and the winner of the game is guaranteed to get all the gold in the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, which holds more gold bullion than Fort Knox.

"The Golden Rule"

This game is a small game not based on any television show or movie, and there aren't any characters. Everyone who joins will be playing themselves. Before you hit the snooze button, let me assure you this is not going to be a boring game.
Several players are involved in a conspiracy to hijack a shipment of gold bars heading from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to various nations around the globe.
This shipment was hijacked by a group of conspirators, and their objective is to survive and escape from the country with the gold. However, there are others trying to stop them from making off with the money, and there is at least one traitor within the group who wants to kill off the others and keep all the gold for himself.
You DON'T want to miss this game.
As you might expect, there's more to this mafia than meets the eye. It wouldn't be an Askthepizzaguy game without a decent twist.

The town huddled inside the Springfield Hospital for their final stand.
The Hibbert zombie approached Burns... but Burns lifted his frail little arms and pulled the trigger of his shotgun, hands trembling, not even aiming... the noise frightened the zombie away.
Burns apparently has some anti-zombie skills.

The Frink zombie scrambles forward and bites Apu on the foot, and the Hindu screams in pain and terror. Not willing to become a zombie, the brilliant Hindu blasts the zombie in the face and takes half of his leg with it.
The zombie, badly hurt, scrambles off, and Apu is left bleeding badly. There happens to be a blowtorch in the room, and Apu used it to burn the wound until it stopped bleeding, thus preventing him from bleeding to death. He would still need a doctor, and soon, but at least he wasn't dying and he wasn't a zombie.
Apu has 0 lives remaining.

Finally, the last of the zombies broke through the barricade and advanced.
Krusty the clown and Monty Burns lifted their shotguns and pointed them at the advancing zombies, and both the Hibbert zombie and the Frink zombie were granted their eternal reward.
The town stood in shock, and everyone began to celebrate. The Springfield Mafia were dead, and all the serial killers had been eliminated. The zombies had all been destroyed.
Then, Apu lifted his weapon and aimed it at Reverend Lovejoy, and blasted the pesky priest's pious little head clean off his shoulders.

Final Chapter
Groundskeeper Willie and Comic Book Guy turned and looked at their fellow Springfieldians, who had just rescued them from certain and imminent death at the hands of the undead; their allies who had destroyed Mafia and Murderer alike, and saw three men in Dark Red robes, each bearing the symbol of the Stonecutters.

The three Stonecutters looked at the obese Comic Book Guy and the drunken Scotsman, nodded to one another, and lifted their shotguns.
"Wait one second! I do not understand why you three are turning on us after all we have been through." said Comic Book Guy.
Willie spoke up: "Ach, these wee Stonecutters are a bunch of seedless grapes, minus the grapes. They wouldn't know honor or dignity if it mowed their lawns for them and unclogged their toilets after Burritofest. But I'm not going down without a fight like some cheese-eatin' surrender monkey! It's Willie's time to shine!"
Willie lifted his pitchfork and charged directly at Monty Burns and Apu, shouting vile curses in his Scottish dialect. Krusty the Clown blasted Willie's body to the floor, and the Scotsman spat blood and swore as he died.
Comic Book Guy looked at the Stonecutters and said with disgust "Worst ending ever!", and began firing his phaser at the trio. But the tub of lard was too slow and too fat, and the trio began blasting him with their shotguns. He fell to the ground.

These incredibly violent and homocidal characters have come to life... they aren't cartoons anymore, but deranged, escaped malfunctioning robots from the Itchy and Scratchyland amusement park.

If you guys enjoyed this game, then you may want to think about joining the sequel.
As you saw from the game outcome and the role PM's, the game is amazingly balanced and the outcome is very unpredictable.
This game would be fun, with only slight modifications to the roles, it would be a viable sequel, don't you think? I would have to randomize some of the guilty parties, of course, to keep you on your toes.
Don't miss out on my Golden Rule mafia game, which should be starting soon (within a few weeks I guess). It's the only mafia game left which will hold you guys over until I can finally get another large game going. (Quite the line has formed).
If it's a success, I will probably do another Futurama themed mafia game. Input welcome, pm me.

It's funny the kind of foresight I was able to come up with for the plot twists...
I for one did not know if Dr. Nick Riviera would live long enough to try to revive anyone, and if anyone got revived as a zombie, whether or not there would be enough townies left with anti-zombie abilities to prevent a total zombie victory. There was a chance there would be no zombies at all.
I also did not know if town would defeat all the serial killers and mafia, which meant there might have been no such thing as the Stonecutters turning their back on town to seize power for themselves. I calculated that if town did indeed destroy the other baddies, the game would be almost over.
I gave the town 2 reviving characters, a townie group which knew each other was innocent, a secondary "townie" group which knew others were innocent, defenders, roleblockers, 2 investigators, Anti-zombies, Anti-mafias, Anti-serial killers, Anti-murders, and all sorts of tricks and surprises. They even had anti-aliens and anti-Itchy and Scratchys.
I gave the Mafia the power to resist and eliminate zombies, provided they used a gun, and the ability to affect the tally. Unfortunately NorthNovas didn't vote during at least one tally, and none of the others were close enough for it to have an impact.
I had 4 serial killers, giving the game a reasonable chance of there being a serial killer victory. Imagine that!
Sideshow Bob was nearly indestructible. Look at his role pm... nothing harms or blocks this guy.
I gave all the bad guys dual identities except for Mayor Quimby, whose ability to have two votes would make him seem like a townie anyway.
I gave the Stonecutters the ability to murder anyone provided they and town were the only living factions remaining. Otherwise they would be counted as town.
All in all, a very complex game, I think. You could play this exact game again, with the roles randomly tossed out there, and minor tweaks to make it less predictable, and I bet you would have just as much fun. I'm keeping this overall formula for the next Simpsons Mafia game, which I am giving the working title:

Very awesome game, ATPG. Indeed, it was very well planned out, and at times I felt like it could've been anyone's game, and I really enjoyed it. Partly because I won (well.. second place) too! :clown:
I did feel, though, that the Stonecutters had something of an advantage over the other anti-town roles because they were technically innocent until all the others were defeated. It is balanced so that the Stonecutters can be killed by the other mafia easily, but at the same time, if all the mafia are gone, the Stonecutters are nearly assured victory with their max. 5 kills per night if all survive- maybe you should lower that. Also, I hope you don't mind if I borrow some elements for my game... which will be sometime in late 2009 at this rate. :laugh4:

Before seeing all of the role PMs (which is actually indeed pretty balanced), kind of thought that the town was at a large disadvantage too.
I thought the disguised Stonecutters won't be able to show our true colors due to the amount of killers that needed to be dealt w/ as 'town' first. Even in the end, I thought all remaining factions (town, neo-mafia, zombies) could get a way w/ the 'v' (big 'V' goes to Fenring').
It took a no lynch on Day 8 and surviving the following zombie attacks (lost a 'leg,' my last extra life, though:sweatdrop:) to seal the deal for us.
Town did a very good and efficient job this game, catching all 4 anti-town roles, and the zombies and SK took care of the mafia.

Very complex game indeed, and it so easily could of been anyone's game.
I thought the biggest advantage the stonecutters had were their numbers, 5 members in total. After finding each other we could protect each other from lynches and also make use of other member's ability. Sarathos (Moe) found out Sideshow Bob's secret identy early on and we discussed what to do with it, we planned to use him to our advantage but killed him at the end because he can't be brought under control. After the mafia were elimated I was sure we would go on to win (2nd place)
Excellent game Askthepizzaguy, I'll be looking forward to your next installment of the Simpsons franchise. :yes:

Yes a wonderful Mafia game ATPG congratulations.
It was in danger at growing stale sometimes, but that was due to the players not yourself....
This was my first mafia game, and it was certainly interesting being part of the mafia group. Unfortunately we lost one of our members early. For my part I tried very hard to make it as unobvious as possible as to guess that I was a mafia member. However we seemed to catch the attention with all our night activities of those night dwellers the zombies.
I lived and learned throughout the campaign. I did think of the eventual winners the stonecutters certainly deserved it all of their players were active and played their roles really well I thought and contributed wonderfully to the game.
Personally I would look into this actor role, I recall when Fenring was lynched in the early stages he didn't exactly have to do any acting to get lynched the actor just has to be incredibly lucky!!!
Edit: I noticed after I had contributed towards the lynching of two of the Seriel Killers that a lot of players talk of Town and Anti-Town implying SKs' and Mafia are somewhat allies until the end. I found the SK's more of a threat than the town however as they could kill seemingly at random whereas town could be 'convinced' to vote whichever way one wanted. However having seen the factions that existed in the town I was probably foolish to try that strategy and should have tried to pin the blame on definate townies instead.

I was dead for half the game, brought back to life, revived a zombie killer, and then became a zombie and was killed by the guys I tried to save.
...and I still had a blast.

Sideshow Bob murders people with a pitchfork. This is a dead giveaway that he murdered Cletus Spucker and took his place down at his farm. Cletus/Bob is therefore also proven guilty on the very first Day, but the clue wouldn't make sense until later, when he murdered someone.

Hinting that guns will be the perfect defensive weapon against zombie attacks. Not an excellent clue, but it was there.

Hair Gel and something which Nick might have prescribed himself... such as a controlled substance. Hair Gel indicates Snake, and the blade as the method of murder... but the controlled substance indicates a drug abuser. How about... Otto Mann?
8. Quimby calls for Security. He is the only player in the game with security guards, which turn up in later chapters as murderers... he's also revealed to be corrupt, but that's actually consistent with his character.
9. "Sideshow Bob had had a difficult evening... apparently there was someone on his trail. But he was far too crafty and evaded them."
It is revealed that someone tried to roleblock Sideshow Bob. This is as good as an investigation, and you don't have to reveal yourself. Double whammy!
10. In the Sideshow Bob murder, all the surviving members of the Simpson family are revealed to be out for the evening. That means they all had active roles. Such as roleblocking or investigating, or being the vigilante.

Obvious now, isn't it? Snake, Otto, mafia.

Well it was never a foregone conclusion that the Stonecutters would turn. As long as TevashSzat or another mafia were alive, the Stonecutters were good guys. Assuming the zombies ate up all the stonecutters, Town wins as soon as the last mafia or serial killer dies.
Luck was not on your side, and the voting for a zombie did not help.

Sorry I should mention that, kind of like YLC's Resident Evil mafia, once it was down to just town and the zombies, the town wins.
Unhindered by murderers and serial killers in their ranks, the town can successfully hunt down the final zombies, no matter how many there are. That's why the zombies are so powerful, town still has a chance no matter how outnumbered they are.

Thank you, thank you all. I spent months in back alleys and hanging around with sleazy bastards preparing myself for this role.
In fact, I fear I may have played the role to well, having been murdered by the vigilante shortly after my performance.
I would like to thank all the pizza guys out there, who answer questions from others. And of course all the little people. Since the average height of men in my family is somewhere around 5’3”, I say the littler the better.

I know! I mean seriously I thought I had made the Simpson family quite powerful.
2 defenders, a roleblocker, investigator, and vigilante all who knew each other were innocent.
I really am shocked they got picked off so easily.

Well, when you think about it not too many were active......:juggle2: Plus side show Bob had a good cover role till the bar scene hint and also when he accused me(I was sweating bullets that night round:sweatdrop:) then Ottoman pointed out that hint that even I should have seen:wall:(but I already knew it was him, right when he congratulated me on surviving the night....I was like "I am a dead man unless the red neck gets it this day phase"....:surrender:)

All though I got voted out in round 1 ... :rolleyes:, I was fortunate to get a second chance with a stonecutter role. It was easy to find the group thanks to Quintus' opening post in the first round.

It is hard to follow the rules when you have all these plans and can't communicate them through the forum you have set up. Why did the mafia kill both me and El Diablo in the same round?
That made me suspect there being a mole in my fellow Stonecutters.
Fortunately they were quite capable to get the job done without my interference. :2thumbsup:

Soon as YLC posted that whole character list, I just told my self that im going to kill all the Simpsons family.
I thought the stone cutters were neutral, if not townies without any ability :sweatdrop:

This was a rather short game for me, but reading what happened afterwards is good fun. The stonecutters are a nice twist :2thumbsup:
