Ok, well according to my own rules, GH is getting a bonus minute. Midnight is technically 12:00, and that means the round ended at 12:00, not 11:59. I had thought I made it clear it was 11:59, but in a close situation like this, I have to go with my own precedent, which was explicitly stated in my own posts.

For the record, I'd like the round to end cleanly at 11:59, but this one is my own fault.

I think that means it is still tied, but in a case this close, there is a mandatory re-check of the tally from the beginning of the round. I need help rechecking and I'm not kidding, someone help me re-check.

I am counting GH's vote.

If this judgment is fair, let me know, if there are any complaints, please address them to me now. I don't want a fuzzy judgment to impair anyone's fun in this game. Seriously, I'd rather let it go to a no-lynch than lynch someone unfairly.

AVSM- apparently we have a problem with your vote. You did not unvote before you voted for GH. That's a bad vote. Ordinarily, I'd disregard that, but... this is basically a life or death thing. It decides the course of things in a game. Remember to unvote.

Are there any other voting discrepancies ? This rule also would apply in Reenk's favor. Let's get a clean judgment call on this vote.

My personal tally had it 9-9 with AVSM in the GH category. Because ATPG ruled that his last-minute change was invalid, I now score it as 10-8 Reenk.

-edit- I'm pretty sure that the people that had Reenk ahead by one accidentally put AVSM as voting for both of us because he failed to specify the unvote.

It was at this shortly before deadline...then avsm switched to GH and GH voted reenk. If both count then it's tied.

Personally I don't care as I find it suspicious that avsm would switch at the last minute, and GH is suspicious as well. They both need to die at some point.

An election supervisor, appointed to replace Mayor Quimby, stood in city hall with his watch about to strike midnight to end all voting. The Squeaky Voiced Teen stood there and started to speak: "Okay... looks like the round will end right about....." A hand put a vote into the ballot box just before the deadline. "...now." said the Teen. There was some commotion about whether that last vote got in on time, and so a hand recount was started. Waylon Smithers grumbled as the votes were counted, and the initial results seemed to not go in his favor. He stood up, walked over to the election supervisor, and said: "You can put a stop to this recount right now. I just want to tell my sweetheart that I love him."

Waylon Smithers walked up to Charles Montgomery Burns, got down on his knees, and grabbed his friend and mentor's hand. "Mister Burns... I've served you faithfully as your assistant for over 20 years. I've doted on you, cared for you, and I've been your most trusted adviser. Clancy Wiggum and his crew of police officers dragged him off to be executed, with Mr. Burns looking slightly confused and embarrassed. "Well thank you for making our last few moments together socially awkward." said Burns. Professor Frink stepped forward to unveil his latest invention.

Frink: Well, according to my calculations, the funniest way for this... err ah... person to be executed would be feeding him too many bananas until he explodes. So, what I've invented is the FRINXECTIONER 3000. This device will strap the uh.... victim down on this table on his hands and knees, and this apparatus here will hold his back, neck, and head in place while we feed him the bananas. Everyone here will take turns shoving their bananas into his mouth, while the FRINK-O-BLASTER covers him with hot marshmallow sauce for no apparent reason. M'GOY. This button here causes the entire thing to vibrate, and this switch plays "Endless Love". I'm not sure why I put that in there, but the more buttons a device has, the cooler and more useful it is. I'm also pretty sure it gets HBO and has a supercomputer attached to it here so that it can calculate the precise frequency of vibration for each victim, such that they will explode when the final banana is shoved deep inside their mouth. GOYVIN-GLAVIN!!!

Waylon Smithers: "I'd be fine with that. Strap me in and let it rip!" :2thumbsup:

And so the entire town took turns shoving their bananas inside Smithers mouth. Finally, Monty Burns came up, barely able to hold on to his banana with his infant-like strength, and he tried to peel it for Smithers.

Monty Burns: "Smithers, one last favor if you would please... peel my banana."

Waylon Smithers: "I've been waiting for 20 years for you to ask me this. Since I have my hands strapped down, I'll have to use my mouth.

Monty Burns: "Okay then, here's my banana, put it in your mouth Smithers while I give it a good tug."


Just then, Smithers exploded, without ever having the banana in his mouth. He died with a smile on his face.

Reenk could've had detective abilities for all we know, but that's very unlikely. What ever ability he had he lied, and I don't think town did much wrong by lynching him.

My faint suspcision is that Smither's role is to protect Mr Burns at all cost, or something like that. But a repeat of the Simpsons Mini Mafia is unlikely really.

At least it appears that Smithers was not down-right mafia, even though he could have been neutral or something. White_Eyes had been saying that Reenk's playstyle resembled Migard I for ages...

Hmm, interesting. I think the roles are smoke and mirrors, like Atpg's other game Golden Rule. Of course that was different because we were all Mafia, but your reason is a pretty good one. Otherwise roleplaying would come to a halt because people would be given away.

According to my reasoning, this pretty much ensures your innocence (although you can never be certain in this game). If you were a mafia member, then "revealing" yourself as Wiggum would be a very risky stunt, as the real Wiggum would be out there and he would be highly suspicious of you, and you might never know if he might have detective powers after all.

Are you daft? I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to accomplish. He's just an old man, and an accident-prone one at that. If your goal is to take out everyone in Springfield, this... mole person is not the way to go about it. He's bound to die on his own anyway. However, I suppose you do know what you're doing. Why not go after your hated nemesis; Bart Simpson? Or perhaps Lisa? In fact, everyone in the Simpson family should go down. They have interfered in our plans too many times to be kept alive. By the time you get this letter, it will be too late anyway, but I felt the need to voice my concerns. If you wish to exact revenge against the people of Springfield, I suggest you look at the people who have foiled you so many times in the past. Once they are dead, the rest of Springfield will fall like dominoes.

Speaking of dominoes, there aren't any games here worth playing. The only person capable of beating me at chess in this dusty prison is me, and I've memorized the solution to checkers. There are no books to read, except religious pamphlets, and I think you know how I feel about that. I've been attempting to fashion a rudimentary explosive device and break out of this cell, but the only explosives I've been able to make involve chewing gum, tobacco juice, lighters, human hair, and copious amounts of nitroglycerin. Of course, all the other ingredients would be unnecessary if I could just get more nitroglycerin, which I am fresh out of. The bomb as it is currently assembled wouldn't blow apart a soda can, and it doesn't even burn that well.

I've learned to avoid singing opera in the showers, because the other inmates weren't very kind to me. I still can't sit down. Get me out of this wretched little rat hole, and soon, dear brother.

Trust me... I've been put in very awkward referee-ing situations at least twice this game. I want the vote tallies to be FAIR to all. If I let you die last round due to a failure to unvote, and I change that policy unannounced, especially AFTER I said UNVOTE before you vote again, specifically... I'd be a bad host. I apologize to everyone if this ruling doesn't sit well with anyone... I'm doing the best I can, and I left it up to Shinseikhaan as I promised to do when he died, for tied votes. Ultimately the responsibility is mine to make the call, and I have ruled.

I have excellent news. It appears from what I hear, that the foolish "organized" criminals of Springfield have taken to murdering each other. That will make our work all the easier. I must admit, I wish I was there to see the fireworks. Right now, I want to say I have no problem with killing the owner of Herman's Antiques. You should be able to access the storage room after he is dead. There should be enough firepower in there to take out half of Springfield, and some explosives which should help break me out of prison.

I could always walk out the unlatched gate in the exercise yard, but I respect the honors system far too much to escape that way, out of principle. We may be criminals but we won't stop being gentlemen. I have to wrap this up, there appears to be some sort of spider in my cell and I need to curl up into a little ball and weep in abject terror. I am certain that creepy little thing will pump me full of poison tonight at feast on me for the rest of its natural life, as well as its children, and its children's children. I don't want to go out that way, so I am just going to stay awake all night with a rolled up newspaper. I'd kill it but I am too scared.

Mafia often don't join bandwagons, infact because its so easy to do the mafian often avoid doing it... i now i do... but then i often don't join bandwagons as a townie either....

For one example look at sasaki in inishmore, scum and he was the one who tried to setup a case on me, look at tincow in midgaard saga II, he skillfully directed one or two lynches. Infact as mafia if you can help get chosen people lynched your onto a winner...

Get your facts straight, in the Settlement where I was mafia, my team discussed using bandwagons to lynch innocent people, in Inishmore, ATPG's team discussed using bandwagons to lynch innocent people. Pah-leeze, it's ridiculous to affirm Mafia don't use bandwagons.
