The Spartan (Returns)

Anyone watching the match this Saturday?
I'm a HUGE fan of Manny Pacquiao. He's definitely a hero to my fellow Filipino countrymen. :philippines:
He's one of the fastest boxers I've EVER seen, and he's always the fastest boxer in all the matches I've of Pacman.
Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao (pronounced /ˈpækjaʊ/; born December 17, 1978), known as Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao is a professional Filipino boxer. He is the former WBC lightweight world champion, WBC super featherweight world champion, IBF super bantamweight world champion, and WBC flyweight world champion. He has also held the Ring Magazine titles for featherweight and super featherweight divisions. For his achievements, he became the first Filipino and Asian boxer to win four world titles in four different weight divisions. He is currently rated by the Ring Magazine as the #1 pound-for-pound boxer in the world.
Pacquiao had 53 fights, and his record is 48-3-2. 36 by knockout.

It seems to me though, most of his fights feel one-sided. For example his most recent fight against Oscar de la Hoya; he won each and every round resulting in TKO. Pacquiao was expected to lose the fight.
I also wouldn't mind if Pacquiao fought Mayweather. If Oscar almost beat Mayweather, and Pacquiao literally destroys Oscar De La Hoya, I wonder what the results against Floyd Mayweather Jr. would be.
Anyway if Pacquiao loses, I probably would cry. That's how much of a hero he is to me, and probably other Filipinos.
Now Ricky Hatton:
Richard John Hatton MBE, more commonly known as Ricky "the Hitman" Hatton, (born 6 October 1978, in Stockport, Greater Manchester, England), is a British professional boxer is a two-time IBF and IBO light welterweight champion, having relinquished the IBF belt, only to step back down to the weight class and beat Juan Urango.
He was the WBA Welterweight Champion, but relinquished this title on 31 August 2006.[3] Hatton is also the former WBU, WBA Light Welterweight Champion and WBC, WBA, WBO Inter-Continental Light Welterweight Champion, and current Ring Magazine Junior Welterweight Champion.

I don't know too much about him, but by looking at his highlights, he seems like a boxer he relies more on strength. If this is the case, Hatton will NOT beat Pacquiao. Manny Pacquiao eats fighters like David Diaz who was a bigger and stronger man. I will definitely look more into Hatton if this isn't the case.
Ricky Hatton has had 46 fights. His record is 45-1. 32 wins are knockout.
