Being honest, I really don't know. in the tainted minds game, he had an argument centred around me lacking 40k lore knowledge as why I must be the Mafia. In the resident evil game, I am some role I haven't heard before for reasons unexplained and should be lynched. In another game where I went to lynch YLC as I thought he had a scummy role, he used his ability to kill some one who voted for him on me. The reasons you said above too and when I suspected some one was leaking information about pro-town members, this meant I was Mafia too. Though, I have to admit, the message saying YLC was the mole was pretty amusing.

I don't know what I did to YLC in a previous life, but he will never let go of it.

The Porterhouse killer walks up to the home of SplitPersonality.He walks though the house a looks at the great pieces of art work covering the walls. He sneaks into the room of Split and taps him on the shoulder and laughs at the look Split gives him. Porterhouse looks at him and says "Don't argue the toss mate, there are 4 kinds of Homicide: felonious, excusable, justifiable, and praiseworthy. Thankfully for me with you it shall be the latter" Split stares back and says "Murderers will try to recall the sequence of events, they will remember exactly what they did just before and just after. But they can never remember the actual moment of killing. This is why they will always leave a clue.” Porterhouse laughs at this " Ahh but I am going to leave no clue, this time." Porterhouse takes out a steak knife and walks towards Split. Split begins to babble "Your just as bad as Ian Brady you know that." Porterhouse replies "Oh I am much worse"
Porterhouse begins to stab over and over again . He picks up the corpse and puts it in his lorry. He the drives it towards the centre of town. Once there Splits body is placed before the town hall with this note attached.

He walked down the street, the four pigs pulling at there reins, his large plumed hat on his head. And a cleaver in his belt. He was angry today, that much was obvious from his gait, he walked very stiffly as he stalked after the moving figure of AVSM. People were somewhat surprised at seeing such a strange sight, but went about there business as usual…. It wasn’t the best idea to anger the mad butcher of fleet street, of course the street hadn’t always been called that, but ever since the rash of killings with a deeply Sweeny Todd-esque feel to them had lead to a legal street name change. Which understandably left everyone on edge, they knew who he was, they all did, but did nothing to stop his hunt of AVSM. Finally The butcher saw an opening, and he took it AVSM had just rounded a corner, and was cut off from witnesses, the butcher smiled, everything was going perfectly. He let the pigs loose and they rushed forward, knocking AVSM on the ground, and each clamped on to a limb, holding AVSM down. The butcher smiled, he had taught his pets well. He walked over the cleaver swinging at the end of his arm now, “well hello there my friend. You appear to be indisposed at the moment, but I am here to talk to you about some things.” He smiled a deep smile bringing the brim of his wide hat down over his face. “first, I don’t like you, so arrogant thinking you could take on the Pork mafia. “at this thought he sweeped his arm down, cutting AVSM’s arm off. “second, I am annoyed that so many of my brothers had to fall before your idiotic voting.” Again the cleaver descended, this time taking a few hacks to take off the mans leg. “Third, I am offended that you think that walking down a cold dark ally in the middle of Fleet Street is a good Idea. I worked hard to build up my reputation, and I won’t lose it to a loser like you!” again it descended, and again a arm slipped free. AVSM was screaming now, watching his body being hacked apart. The pigs that had free limbs darted back to the darkness, tearing at their new meals. “And finally, I want to say one things, no hard feelings, it is all just business to me.” The last leg went free, and the butcher calmly walked back out of the ally, calling back to the pigs “be home before dark boys!” screams were heard all day in that ally, and no one was brave enough to go and see what was going on. The police reached the spot just as the sun went down, finding nothing but blood, and just a pit of pig droppings.

This one is full of spelling errors. Is this intentional or unintentional? I haven't even really looked at the previous writeups in any great detail.

There is some chance the mafia will kill each other off, unless you have a case of them working together which is very possible this game. I am leaning towards the second option. We need to kill the godfather of one of the families today or we could be in serious trouble.

I don't have a conclusion yet. But I want discussion.

Now is the time to do some analysis I was looking at the beef write ups. The dialouge seemed too witty to me for someone to come up with of the top of their heads. So I looked them up. The first one is from Amborse Beirce and Splits response is from Peter Ackroyd. It seems to me this mafia is clearly trying to cover his tracks. The early write ups for the beef mafia were very american almost gothic in tone. They too seemed to have being designed to be obviously American. Also wasn't a bolded HA HA HA note part of your Simpsons game ATPG?

Caius has been active on other places in forum but not here. Wondering why, haven't played a significant interaction in mafia games with him so I'll like to ask the older mafia players if this is the norm for Caius. Yaropolk being away doesn't necessarily clear him if he is godfather and has henchmen to do the work but I'll wait for him to talk.

@YLC/Whiteeyes: So the others were completely innocent but the results on pever were ambiguously worded. Its good enough for me in other circumstances but his pm looks rather genuine. Unless its all an elaborate set up and he's been role playing all game like that for this alibi.

I just finished reading all the posts since the crash. Something caught my eye - YLC you suggested lynching Greyblades (post 580), and then switched your FOS to pever (post 589). Since you're part of the townie network, can you please share your logic for why you thought Greyblades was guilty and then how you came to think he is innocent?

The Porterhouse gives a very gallic shrug and says " I lied" And finally he pulls on another leaver and 10 tonnes of silverside comes down the pit crushing Greyblades.

Suspicion was in the air as the butcher walked down the street, just a single pig on its leash this time (this was not his part of town, he could not bring all four). He was not sure how much he could trust his beefy brothers, but what the heck, he didn’t have anything to lose… and so he marched up a tall thin apartment building to a nondescript little room with the numbers 187. And he knocked like a good little boy, the pig straining at his leash. He was answered by a shotgun blast that tore through the door and just missed him…. He sighed, that’s what he gets for trying to kill a target who knew he was coming…. He lowered his shoulder and barreled through the door. He let go of the pig’s reins and rolled behind a wall, just in time BAM, another shotgun blast hit the wall where he was just standing. The butcher sat back and waited for his highly trained war pig to do the work for him. A loud REETCH scratched through the air and the pig barreled into Death is Yonder as he was trying to get a lock on to it with his shotgun. The pig clamped on to DIY upper arm, and tore away, taking a chunk of flesh with it. DIY screamed and brought up his shotgun, but the pig had already melted into the darkness. DIY looked around franticly, waiting… another oink, and DIY lurched around and shot, hitting only the wall….. because the pig was already behind him at this point, slamming him on to his back and clamping on to his neck. The pigs jaw strained as it squeezed harder and harder on to DIY’s neck. And then there was a fourth BAM as DIY managed to get the shotgun above his head, splattering pig guts everywhere! He sighed in relief, feeling the deep bite marks on his neck. He laughed aloud at the pig, until a hand clamped on his mouth and a cleaver came around his face. “You shouldn’t touch my pigs” the cleaver wiped across, spilling DIY’s blood across the ground. The butcher left just minutes after, carrying a large sheet stained red with blood. No need to waste good pork after all.

First we chop the secret ingredient up, then we dry it. Here is the cool part: we feed the ingredient to our specially bred stable of lamas. The next step...well it involves big rubber gloves and lots of elbow grease, but the end result is a brew that we are proud to call Soylant Caius. Night 7 summery

Kill atheotes, use the following description:

Atheotes was invited to a meeting of the mafia families by the beeffather. Atheotes, beeffather, and beef henchman met at an expensive italian restaurant.

The waitress asked for their orders. Atheotes ordered a plate of porsciutto. Beeffather ordered a plate of steak tartar, bloody raw.

Beef goon ordered a porterhouse steak. "But this is an italian restaurant, we don't serve porterhouse" replied the waitress. Beef goon screamed, "No steak! You's better find me a steak, or tomorrow YOU'll be steak tartar, savvy!?"

The waitress scurried off in search of steak.

"Now then, lets get back to business" said atheotes. He was cradeling a small pig in his arms and stroking its back like a cat.

"The reason i summoned everyone here tonight" started the beeffather, "is to form an alliance.". There are plenty of restaurants in this town for both of us, and so many cuisines use both ingredients, you could say we are practically cousins."

"I dont know if i can trust you" said atheotes. "That business with DIY was underhanded."

"Underhanded? UNDERHANDED? We're in the mafia! We got a dirty vegeterian off the streets, thats all that matters! Do you want your kids eating...salad? Tofu dogs? Gardenburgers? Vegan fingers? He was a PERVERT! As a token of our respect please accept this hand knit sweater for you pet pig. It's red like the blood of our enemies."

Atheotes lips stretched into a smile, Lil' Porker was his favorite pig, and this was the quickest way to his heart. He accepted the gift and put it on the pig. You could see the pride in Atheotes eyes.

The two godfathers got up, embraced, and kissed each other on the cheek. The beef mafia left first. Atheotes stayed to finish his porsciutto and to avoid rousing suspicion by leaving together.

Suddenly a mighty crash shattered through the storefront. Beef mafias prize bull, Beefy Jr was standing there. He was angrily stomping the ground, and snorting through his nose ring. He fixed his horns on Lil' Porker's red sweater and charged. Atheotes could not bear to drop his pig, it was like his child! He cradeled Lil Porker in his arms and tried to shield him from the bull. Atheotes was gored. Lil Porker survived!

"Beef mafia.." said Heshe in almost empty hall. The last townie was caught by the henchmen, while the God Father slowly approached the carnivalistic llama.

"Were you expecting us Heshe?" said the God Father, smiling to express the joy of their victory.

"Kind of. You did have the numerical advantage, but I thought the towns were going to win."

"Fair enough.. Well all the mafia are destroyed. Now there is only you standing in the way of our domination. Join us Heshe, or die."

"I'll die thanks. I don't serve man. I only decided to help because it was vaguely interesting."

"Thats a shame.." Beef father, slowly walked towards the entrance and pulled out a walkie talkie.

Heshe immediately ran for Beef Fathers head to bite him and serve him a decent damage.

"Now" said the Beef father and faced the final remaining townie. "Askthepizzaguy, we were going to offer you the henchmen spot. However, with Elizabeth joining our crew, you are no longer necessary. So we will kill you."

"But but!!!" screamed ATPG, desperate to survive. "Elizabeth isn't even human! His white thing! Surely I will make a better henchmen!!"

After making a strange noise, Elizabeth revealed his true form.

Beef father gave a signal to the henchmen. Five minuits later, he returned with a full course of Beef.

"Beef tartar, Beef steak (T-bone & Riblet), Beef yakiniku, Beef Sukiyaki, and to finish off... Milk and Icecream!! You have five minuits to finish all those..."

"...."

"What are you waiting for. You only have four minuets and fifty seconds left."

With insanity slowly taking over the desperate man, ATPG shoved in the first load of Beef tartar with his barehand. And sucked in without biting. He didn't bite. He didn't have any time to bite it. Because four minuets and fourty four seconds later.. He may be dead.

Beef father and his henchman smiled gently as ATPG got closer to being the first follower of the beef cult. When ATPG finished it all, with two seconds to go, Beef Father Yaropolk offered his hand and helped him up.

"Congratulations" he said. "Welcome to the real world."

ATPG saw the world in front of him. It was brown. It was Beefy.. Beef dominates his life.

For the pork to win, pork had to hope for Captain Blackadder protecting Yaropolk in fear of towns victory, and kill Captain Blackadder. Then hope ATPG to vote for Yaropolk.

Over all, I had lots of fun hosting. It was good to see GH and LittleGrizzly in two different team, despite the fact that they died early.

Letter system went pretty well. Besker seems to have had a lot of fun using it, and so did White_eyes. White_eyes managed to nail Culture Drizzt Fan with it.

If there is someone to blame, blame the Beef mafia. They were the one responsible for murder of four mafia members.

I may need to change the system slightly to improve the game.

As for the quick topics, because my computer crashed half way through the game, I almost all the datas. Including my pm downloads. So I would like to ask the mafias to post their quick topic if anyone is interested.

Now I can say; I was recruited the day I was killed, by YLC and pro-town, to claim I was medic or Doctor, and I revived DIY. This was to help pro-town, by hiding the last player, so he could avoid the mafia kill. To try and help the town to win. This is why I couldn't answer anyone's questions or PM's (sorry) but had to keep it a secret, and really didn't know much because, I wasn't really the medic. I think the game would have gone quite differently if there were more people.

Overall, I was very surprised at the number of mafia that were overlapped.

I think in the first few rounds we got off easy bandwagons as the mafia were still trying to find out whether their members were in rival mafia families and going to betray them.

Was quite interesting as a first time group. I think the game drastically changed when Whiteeyes reacted a bit tad too much in my opinion over me talking to pizza then and changed his protection of YLC to me. Although in hindsight, I think the mafia would have left me alive, which they did. At least for a while... And I still wonder, if YLC hadn't affirmed which letters were ours, would you people have followed them still?

Sometimes people get lynched right away every game, and then people get bored with that and find a new target. Sometimes we get on an anti-lurker kick and start flushing non-responsive players right away. Other times they go on to win the game. It comes in phases and it will pass.

I admit I'm too used to helping out the town, Whiteeyes lurks to fly under.

But I really think, it was the save of me that really convinced the mafia 100% that I was investigator.

That was the confirming factor I suppose.

The pever lynch was the main reason why I asked you on QT whether you were planning to help town to win or try and prepare to become the mafia and instead put our lynch to anti town use.

Was a bit precarious... the game at times was hanging in the balance.

Gah! I think the beef mafia won because they didn't have mafia henchmen with dual roles in other families as well.

Well, in this game I only investigated a townie/ town role twice.

It would appear that perhaps I gave the beef mafia in particular a little too much info, considering I only detected Blackadder on the same night before I died.

Perhaps maybe next time Beefy can give us a kill as well :smash:

But overall, I thought it was a fantastic game. And YLC and Whiteeyes contrasted my headstrong methods and "wide open style" so to speak, and advised caution constantly, was great playing with you vets :yes:

If LittleGrizzly had tried to get the pork's and the chickens to work together in the early game I am sure we would have come out on top. The problem was that in the early game all the mafias were massacring each other.

I did try to get the pork and chicken mafia to work together... from my communication with beefy though it wasn't really all that workable...

Basically pork or chicken would have had to kill the other to win... so i didn't really want to reveal my mafia familys to each other for them to get paranoid and kill each other early...

Chicken mafia should have been in a great place, henchman in 2 different mafia familys...

and then we lasted 2-3 rounds... dreadful...

As for our performance, a union wouldn't have worked. My paranoia would have gotten in the way. As a matter of fact, I as a member of the Lamb Mafia whacked Grizzly myself. At that point I thought he was going to side with the Porkies since they had the numbers (we were already down Tratorix at that point) and decided I'd rather take my chances with khaan.

Almost worked. Ah, well.
