In the Arklay Mountains... the FBI agent has been tracking the Umbrella Agent.... and along the winding mountain road, Reginald St. Louis thinks he has finally found his target. He follows the tracks into the woods, and he keeps a keen eye on his surroundings. He takes a step. He holds his breath... he can hear nothing except his own heartbeat and the dull, soft noise of the wind moving through the trees.

The sound of a shotgun echoed through the valley. Reginald St. Louis fell to his knees.

"It didn't have to come to this... you could have just let me escape. Was it worth it?"

The FBI agent could barely speak, as his lungs filled with blood. The commotion attracted the attention of some black birds high above them in the trees, and the shotgun blast had spooked a good number of them into flying away. A few birds who were in the blast radius fell dead to the cold frozen ground.

"Hmph. Try and enjoy the precious remaining time you have left on this earth." The agent said while collecting the FBI agent's weapons. "Remember, it's nothing personal, it's just business."

The man lay on the ground, turning white and shaking, as the Umbrella agent walked away. The FBI agent's vision began to fade. He turned his head, and looked around, vainly searching for help. All he could see around him was the trees, a few dead birds, and a cold fog.

The person who attacked the night before appeared to be using more of physical force than actual guns that an FBI agent would posses..

Meanwhile, inside the church, the rest of the villagers attempted to get some sleep. John Dover, on the other hand, wasn't really able to put the nightmarish images of the zombies out of his mind. That's why when he heard the door creaking open behind him, he was fully aware that someone had entered his room unannounced. In a reflection on the mirror, he saw a dark figure approaching, wielding some sort of weapon. Just as the intruder raised the weapon up high for the killing blow, John turned very quickly and he used the wooden board as a brace, and it blocked the weapon from reaching his head. He immediately began screaming for help, and someone from the next room responded. The rescuer tackled the intruder, and nearly got their head knocked off for their trouble. By then, John had raised his firearm and began shooting into the dark, at the figure wielding the weapon. However, the intruder was too fast and ran straight towards the window and dove straight through it, shattering it completely. It looked like the murder attempt was unsuccessful.

It clearly demonstrates a blunt weapon/ sharp object such as an axe or baseball bat that requires a lot of force to swing/ gain momentum for the killing blow.

That's what I mean. The Umbrella Agent perhaps... maybe he stole the gun but had no ammo? Too bad pever won't tell us whether he had ammo, if pever didn't have ammo, the guy who stole the gun likely is one of the people who had no ammo in the beginning, either staying silent OR one of the people who borrowed ammo.....

On the other hand, this may demonstrate that there is some other Serial Killer within us. Input people?

In all seriousness, it makes sense that Pever had ammo while he was hunting the agent, which leads me to the following conclusions -

The agent specifically is not using his weapon, in the hopes of throwing suspicion elsewhere and is therefore capable of influencing the write ups.

OR

We have both the agent and another entity, one of which actually killed last night and the other forgot to send in his orders.

Also to my post: that was a broad statement, we need more guns, so more of us are armed. I was hoping to find more when I went foraging, but I didn't. I also didn't have any ammo to start, so without ammo gun is pretty useless.

I have narrowed down who John Dover is to: AVSM, CDF, DIY, or split. These players I don't have all info on, may have what they claimed they do, or what they have as far as guns... but don't know their names. That is not fool proof someone may have lied in thread with false info. Just my deduction.

Day Two











Everyone gathered together in the center of town after their foraging expedition, and only Daniel Nashville was missing. They traded ammunition and prepared for their night strategy. How would they hold off the zombies tonight?

Next on the agenda was justice. They had to lynch the one responsible for the attempted murder last night, or anyone else with an anti-town agenda. They debated with one another, and while some thought that they should locate Toyoda Guzman and lynch him, the rest thought the sanest option was to simply not lynch anyone, particularly not someone who wasn't even playing. One person thought that Daniel Nashville should be lynched, but where was he? He still had not come back from foraging.

Daniel Nashville was deep in the forest (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/128743), and he seemed to have gotten lost. The part of the forest that Nashville was in was very dark, and a cold fog crept in just as the sun was starting to set. He felt a chill down his back and he suddenly felt very vulnerable.

Nashville: Boy howdy... I shouldn't have wandered out this far. I need to get back to Fair Haven. And I have no idea why I brought this guitar with me. The darn thing is way too heavy, I should have left it at the village.

Nashville heard some strange noises behind him, and he turned and saw a several dark figures approaching from the brush... but as he turned to run, he saw even more of them in that direction. Nearly panicking, he charged the nearest zombie and stopped just before the creature was able to grab him. Quickly moving backwards, the zombie lurched forward towards Daniel and missed. Taking this as his cue, Daniel ran past the zombie, guitar in tow, and tried to locate the river. He looked around, and he still could not hear the water over the moaning zombies... and the path was in the opposite direction. There was no way that Daniel would move in that direction. Just as he was devising a plan, he was grabbed from behind by a creature so foul, so cruel, that no man yet had fought with it and lived!

Daniel Nashville reacted quickly and rushed forward to escape from the zombie's clutches, but the creature grabbed ahold of his collar and wouldn't let go. Taking hold of his guitar, he turned towards the creature and with a mighty swing, he smashed it downward onto the zombie's head, which shattered the instrument, then delivered a cowboy boot to the shin of the creature and fled in a hurry. The zombie staggered and fell to the ground, but slowly got back to its feet. By then, Nashville had left the scene intact.

He managed to find the river, and he decided he would be safer on the other side. That is where he located an old shed, and inside he found a powerful pump-action shotgun (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/9/98/Winchester_1897.jpg).

But if I don't, then we will have an inaccurate measure of the strength of the Zombies, and will be unable to determine when we can't go out to forage any longer. Of course, if I screw up, then I only make things worse, but then I am giving up the chance that we could limit the Zombies impact. I think, at this stage, we everyone with a high offense rating got together and attacked them, while we kept those with the best defense ratings behind the wall guarding the town, then we might be able to keep the zombies a non-factor.

I´ve found a "Red Herb" its said to be rare, as I´ve not played a RE game I presume you need to combine it with something to have an effect. If we have a herbalist or someone who has a clue I´ll pass it along.

It has nothing to do with that, I'm just trying to set a baseline for when we know the Zombies have become too strong and can no longer forage, and possibly reduce their strength now, and make it a non factor in the future. If we do that, then we can reduce this to a simply mafia game where the mafioso is our primary concern. As of right now, no one is motivated to start voting, and if we want to win, we can't depend on the inherent randomness of the Zombies, especially since everything is on a clock!

Either we begin actually trying to find the mafioso, or we all drop our weapons and meet our new zombie family. We have to make a stand, one way or another.

He immediately began screaming for help, and someone from the next room responded. The rescuer tackled the intruder, and nearly got their head knocked off for their trouble. By then, John had raised his firearm and began shooting into the dark, at the figure wielding the weapon. However, the intruder was too fast and ran straight towards the window and dove straight through it, shattering it completely. It looked like the murder attempt was unsuccessful. Then are two things that make me think, atheotes might be our killer.

One is....The brute strength of the person...

From all around Fair Haven, as soon as the sun went down, the zombies (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/183469) began to emerge from the forest, hungry as ever. The creatures seemed to follow the lead of a very large, very powerful zombie with a nasty temper. The villagers all elected to barricade themselves inside the stone walls of the church, and attempt to fight them off until dawn. This time, they were prepared. Instead of glass and wooden boards, the villagers once again piled stone statues in front of the doors and windows, and they bolted whatever pieces of metal that they could find over the windows. The horror began once again, and the sounds of groaning and moaning returned. The zombies crowded around the church and they began trying to bash their way inside. This time, most of the structures held, and the villagers crowded around the possible entry points with whatever crude weapons they could find, and those with firearms stood back and decided to conserve ammunition until it was absolutely necessary to fire.

For an hour or so, it seemed the zombies were unable to figure out how to break into the barricade... but the giant zombie remained undeterred. He ripped a small tree out of the ground and began using the heavy trunk as a battering ram against the large door at the entrance of the church. The entrance was barred, bolted, and there were stone statues piled in front of it. Over and over, the walls shook as the frustrated creature unleashed his fury against the entrance... bashing the doors into a twisted, broken shape, knocking the braces off of the doorway, and creating a small opening. The creature looked inside with his big green eyes, and roared a command to the other zombies. They began to crawl into the opening and down the pile of stone statues. One of the villagers took aim, and fired at one of the weakened supporting columns near the front of the church, and the ceiling collapsed and crushed most of the zombies that were piling inside, leaving only a few remaining, injured but still quite vicious. The other villagers began to beat them down with long, blunt objects and kept them at bay with pieces of furniture, until they could be picked off with bullets. One of the zombies grabbed Independence Cunningham and began to strangle him, smashed him against the wall and prepared to eat his face.

From behind the zombie, George Townshend approached with a long, sharp piece of wood, and impaled the creature through an opening in it's skull, pinning the creature's head against the stone wall and causing it to writhe in agony, releasing Indy from its grip. By then the other villagers were able to bludgeon the thing into a broken, bloodied mass. The zombie outside roared in anger and continued to beat against the stone walls... and the group retreated to the back of the church to attempt to wait out the attack and possibly sleep in shifts. There wasn't a room large enough for everyone to sleep in, because these modest cells were made for the spartan life of a nun, so everyone took refuge in one of the cells. It was a miracle they had all survived the attack, though Indy Cunningham was worse for wear after being assaulted by the vicious undead man.


-Before Dawn-


Toby Madison (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/106810) attempted to get some sleep, but the man was in shock. After spending an hour or two reading the Bible he found in the drawer of his cell, he finally calmed down enough to rest. He did not hear the heavy iron door of his cell creak open, nor did he see the dark figure enter holding a deadly weapon. The creature's sunken, yellow eyes could not be seen, even by candlelight. It raised the bloody axe above its head, and brought it down on the horse rancher's body, and continued to do so for the next several minutes. The creature began to feast upon the bloody mess, but heard the sound of someone approaching from the hallway and decided to hide in the darkness until they were gone. When the noises had stopped, the axe-wielding maniac left the room.

The body, however, remained in the room, and it attracted the attention of several scavenger birds. By the time the sun rose, the body was gone.


-Daybreak-

George Townshend woke up with a terrible cough and a fever. He seemed to be coughing up blood, but he otherwise seemed all right. The symptoms seemed very similar to the ones exhibited by Mary Baltimore. Mary seemed to be fighting off the infection quite well. The fever had nearly broken. Indy Cunningham was still nursing the bruises on his neck and he had a shattered collarbone; he was certainly not in fighting form.

I've often pondered how to insert myself into my own games fairly, however it is totally unfair on the other players if I could vote or kill. I know too much.

The best that I could come up with was Golden Rule (I only win if everyone kills each other) and Psycho (I could only kill as the other half of the personality of Omanes Alexandrapolites, and only whoever he decided to investigate).

It's fun, but I cannot actually affect the outcome of the game, and I don't get to actually decide to do anything, and given my reputation, I can't have every mafia game I host have a wasted turn lynching me when I am not a target for a lynch.

Albert Lester was slowly infected overtime by the same mutagen based off the T-Virus that created the plant. I am fairly sure he would end up giving in or developing the same cannabilistic urges, although their is some contention as to whether or not a Zombie actually performs cannibalism, based upon idealogical point of view.

I'm fairly sure this is our killer, the match is uncanny.

The zombie horde (random.org) rolls a series of integers attempting to attack the barricade. Each successful attack causes minor damage to their target players. If the majority of the rolls end in their favor, you all die.

Have any of you looked at what happened in my previous game? The town lost essentially (it was a Zombie victory, but due to issues with rulings I for some reason had not foreseen, I declared it a Town Victory) because of apathy - they really didn't try to find the agent, and when good evidence came about as to the identity of the agent, THEY DIDN'T EVEN LYNCH HIM.

I am waiting for a better case, for now, I'll continue my efforts to find the killer. As far as I am concerned, DIY's being unneccessarily defensive and irrational - he has 2 votes against him and he is already being suicidal and vengeful about it, instead of trying to debate my theory and any inherent flaws in it.

And DIY, I caught on early, but one can have a cover role, and there is no direct proof other roles cannot blend herbs. The only time that ever really showed up was in Resident Evil 0, where only Rebecca could combine the herbs. So forgive me for not taking the ability as an entirely credible one - if one person can prove to me that the host will not allow them to combine a herb, then obviously your ability has credibility and you're most likely innocent.

However, I do know infact of another healer in this game, so that makes me iffy on your statement, and with your name lining up with Albert Lester's, I started a case.

I will do so each round until the agent is found, otherwise we can all just mill around like the zombies for all good it will do us.

Well, he's tried to subtly claim it several times through an inside joke about the games healing items - he is a "herbalist". His ability sounds legitimate, but, thats only IF only he can combine herbs, we should know after today, so in the end, either it was a claimed cover with little forsight or he is telling the truth. Since a mafioso would prefer to stick with what he knows as solid, I'd chance that DIY is innocent or this is a rather interesting gambit.

EDIT - and stop trying to create ties! ATPG is notorious for punishing the town for doing so.
