The Zombies/psycho killer have not shown me any reason why we should be hiding our roles......I mean...they attacked me....and failed....when everyone else who was forging...was a MUCH better target...(still loved that guitar smash^^)

last night the Psycho went for Diana......not very smart....unless the zombies and Psycho are working together.....I can't see how they are planing on winning this....If there win condition are..."kill all survivers....let none escape"....

I can think of two or three more people more dangerous to them and more better of a target.....so I have no idea why DIY is freaking out that much over his role....>.>

Yeah yeah it was a red herb rare and all but unskilled people like you cant do no nothing with herbs that do nothing on their own I'm guessing. Like, if it was a green herb I suppose it would have been justified but it was USELESS ON ITS OWN. While I was trying to find out if you were sincere you became impolite in your PM´s, and you still hadn´t told me if you definately still hold the compound that you allegedly "passed to someonelse but received no confirmation from ATPG, maybe because you cannot pass it around." Also, what you fail to mention, I offered you the herb if you would ask for it publicly. Just to make sure that everyone knew where the herb was if somebody needed it. I even announced that i found the red herb, so no secrets from me.

To me it seems that you´re looking for a scapegoat to take your blame. Either because you´re mafia or because you´re a desperate townie. Since you have already more or less calimed a role you deserve the benefit of the doubt and my offer still stands, if you have the other components to make the Potion I´ll give you the red herb.

I passed the mentioned herbal compound to him, and I even included a step by step process since I was extremely frustrated you did not get what I was saying, I wasnt even implying it, I WAS SAYING IT OUTRIGHT!!!

Well, just to let you all know, I passed it to Tratorix since he was wounded. Mentioned Herbal Compound G/y (or green + yellow) effects were of restoring health by 30% and total health by half. It was also stated that the compound could be improved by a rare herb, which I took to mean ONLY rare herbs. So seeing as I probably wouldn't get a rare item I sent it to Tratorix, since he was injured. Then Khazaar posted in thread saying he had a rare herb, but it did nothing on its own. Having experienced good positive results from requesting herbs like the green one from CDF, I requested the red herb, and was promptly met with all the security measures and apprehension and what not. It was as if Khazaar was Highly paranoid that the agent will use his red herb to make some T-Virus Or send it to the "supposed real herbalist" to gain favor and so called "be in the townie group".

Firstly, my points for being suspicious? The herb does nothing on its own, what do you have to worry about keeping it. Secondly? Its a rare herb, not a minigun, not your lifeline.

Oh, and no confirmation mail from pizza I inquired about it and a related item that i sent recently to another person as a demonstration that I really am a herbalist. Pizza stated that all the item trades would result in that he didn't want to constantly update his inventory lists and would just send the thing over and in the next list from the next time it was needed, the sent item was omitted. So don't pester him for a confirmation mail... he's not sending it.

Uggh, nevermind, you can keep the herb if you want to smell it so much. Ask yourself. Why would the umbrella agent/SK/Deranged Human Risk so much unnecessary publicity by poking around for herbs that they don't need?! All these pming leave tracks and later the supposed "real townies" will just reveal and boom! They are lynched. You even threatened me with a public reveal of my supposed "guilt". Why, asking for your herb in public is a death sentence... I'm surprised you haven't figured that out.

I genuinely was quite frustrated nobody got it but Diana. YLC, let me point out the flaws in your theory as you demand. As well as some explanations.

No.1: Pizza loves to give out clues in the write ups and I can't blame you for trying to do a little detective work but I think we're all barking up the wrong tree here. Clearly, pizza is making a reference to Toyoda Guzman that we all have ignored and I'm still wondering what that means, as I'm not a RE expert, or is it just a minor reference to the first game? I seem to recall reading that Pizza was Toyoda in that game...

No.2: Maybe my clues weren't so obvious to others (oops) and I overreacted but I really was quite frustrated, well, quite a few people could guess my profession by the 2nd Round I could think, although they might not be certain it was already enough to provoke an attack by a zombie or whatever, so I felt I had already overextended and it was time to stop hinting.

No.3: Requesting a red herb from Khazaar proved to be a conversation where many concessions were demanded that I failed to see the merits of. The "impoliteness" which Khazaar spoke off was the final PM exchanged where I expressed my annoyance that he didn't get what I was trying to say and I systematically listed it out for him.

No.4: The added fact that Diana has now joined the zombies guarantees that I will die via foraging or at least get attacked, if they are in discussion of course, so, does anyone want me to keep my stuff and guns? Or do some people need them. I am willing to go face my death as some of you might want to prove my innocence once and for all, kinda like you people thinking about fighting the horde and escaping without items that we all saw during night 2... Well this is mainly due to the fact that Diana knows my profession for what it is.

No.5: I would trust Cultured Drizzt Fan personally, he was rather helpful and straight forward when handling his green herb, despite the fact that it had immediate benefits for him, unlike some other herbs and red herbs.

No.6: On Khazaar I still remain slightly dubious over the numerous safe guards and over excessive security measures for his red herb that had no immediate benefits for him. This would be reduced if it was a green herb which actually benefits people instantaneously... But he has satisfyingly explained at least some of his actions so I unvoted him.

No.7: I believe the real perpetrators of this crime are either one of those who has totally avoided this discussion/accusation or one of those who had just gone along with it hoping a quick and precise DIY lynch, pending...

All of you are innocent, but one of you is unknowingly guilty, in the spirit of psycho mafia. This would mean it could be anyone yet again, but it would also strengthen the ties people have to their names - the names mean something and are our only clues as to each others alignment.

ATPG loves to insert himself in his games, and the only viable way to do it would be to do it the way it was done in psycho mafia, where whenever the psycho used his ability one someone else, he also attacked them.

So our unknowing mafioso is someone with a night ability, and used their ability on Diana last night. I know of one person it is not then besides myself, and if what DIY says is true, then it can't be him under this new theory.

It's possible they have it figured out by now to an extent. I myself am not sure how it would work out - it's possible that they attack randomly based upon vote patterns as well, and exchange of items, having someone else's ability used on them, etc. We don;t know the trigger, so we can't be entirely sure.

Mary Baltimore woke up the next morning with a terrible cough and a fever, but otherwise seemed ok. The doctor gave her an examination and determined that she hadn't been infected by the T-virus. When I posted this in my crappy wrap-up....atheotes went crazy on me....even more then DIY was...
George Townshend woke up with a terrible cough and a fever. He seemed to be coughing up blood, but he otherwise seemed all right. The symptoms seemed very similar to the ones exhibited by Mary Baltimore. Mary seemed to be fighting off the infection quite well. In Fair Haven (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/80783), the villagers returned from their long day of foraging. A couple of them waited in the Guard Tower, but most of them decided to go item finding... and they found many good items today indeed. As a result of their experience foraging, they all gained a marginal increase in their basic skill. however, things were not all good. Someone had failed to show up at the meeting to determine who they would lynch. The pharmacist, Independence Cunningham, was still out looking for herbs. A quick search party revealed bloody, tattered clothing... and his items were left behind. But no Indy... They decided, since one of their fellow survivors must have been turned into a zombie, that they would forego lynching anyone today. They prepared for the night phase as best they could. They passed weapons around and refilled their ammunition.

Now.... the horror would begin. The zombies were also increasing in number and strength... people would die for certain. However, none of this seemed to bother Frankie Mulligan... for he had found the greatest object of them all... an awesome yellow school bus.

BEEP BEEP!!! He said. He enthusiastically ran towards the others and showed them his magical treasure. Eugene Flaherty was also particularly excited watching Frankie flap his STOP sign in and out, and was mesmerized by the pretty wheels spinning round and round. BEEP BEEP!!! He said once more. Frankie Mulligan got into the school bus and began ramming down all the evil zombies, and he began to decapitate them all with the metal stop sign. He backed into a whole mess of them and the bus made that lovely backing up noise. It was all very lovely, and Frankie was happy to get his awesome bus back. He and Eugene made sweet kisses underneath a large oak tree.

"My, the wood is pretty thick" said Eugene.
"I know" said Frankie. "But that's what happens when you just let the trees keep growing. Come on, won't you ride my bus?"
And Eugene and Frankie rode off into the sunset, running over zombies the entire way towards Rural Route 2. The End.

"Are you all right, Frankie?" said Houston Whitmore. "You kinda spaced out there for a second playing with that matchbox car shaped like a schoolbus that you found. And you were moaning something about Eugene. You're not coming down with anything are you?"

Frankie just wiped the sweat from his palms and brow, and sighed in disappointment, and walked away oddly.

Another thing, I´m not sure if we eventually have to fight the horde outside or if it is enough to lynch the sk. ATPG´s rules state:
10. Fighting the Horde

You may have no choice but to fight the Horde... if something really really bad happens. You'd better be prepared, and I don't recommend going out there alone, or at all. When Fighting the Horde, you are outside of the settlement during Night Phase, which makes you extremely vulnerable. The Horde... is very unkind during the night phase. And hungry. And relentless.

From that I gather that you can team up to fight the horde together, since we´re slowly building up a good stack of equipment this could be a last resort measure to defeat the zombies. Anyway, if we do it, we probably should do it together...

Night Three

The villagers gathered together in front of the old church. The night (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/128743) would be a bloody one for sure. Daniel Nashville lost his nerve and decided to just attempt to Escape from the village altogether, so after tossing some worthless ammo to a doomed villager, he said "So long, suckers!" This would not bode well. As he ran off into the night, he gripped his awesome handgun with glee. Finally he had a weapon, and soon he would be hitching a ride out of this jerkwater burg. Between him and freedom stood a towering creature... with eyes of green, not White. Danny Nashville raised his weapon and began to fire into the thing, which stomped forward completely unfazed. It reached out for Daniel, but he quickly ducked and rolled between its legs, and then made a mad dash for the highway, until he stopped dead in his tracks. There was a massive swarm of zombies in front of him, and a giant creature behind him. He decided to try to blast his way through the zombies, picking them off one by one with head shots. When there was a gap in the horde, Nashville was ready to make a break for it. But then he realized he could not breathe. He was being lifted into the air by a massive hand... the giant was about to bite his head off. So Nashville began firing straight into the eyes of the creature, who groaned in pain and then whipped him to the ground in front of the zombie horde. The impact knocked Nashville unconscious... and the zombies ripped him apart.

The other villagers barricaded themselves inside the old church, waiting for the horror to come. It did not take long... the giant (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/171050) was hungry, and he began picking apart the broken stone from the collapsed church ceiling. Removing the large bits of stone opened a path into the church. The thing roared with rage, and Kansas C. Smith glared at the creature. Everyone else began firing at the crowd of zombies, but then the giant began to smash its way inside the church. All the firepower was then concentrated on the massive creature, which roared in pain from repeated shotgun blasts, machine pistol rounds, handgun bullets, and rifle shots to the head. Even with all the firepower of the town, the zombies had managed to grab ahold of John Dover and claw at him with rage, tearing some of the flesh off of his leg and arm as he tried to fight them off. John looked and noticed that one of the zombies looked exactly like Daniel Nashville.

Kansas Smith had a big surprise for the zombie leader... from her foraging pack she withdrew a long, massive weapon. With a smirk, she uttered a final "adios" to the green-eyed monster, and fired the rocket propelled grenade right at its stomach.

The resulting explosion severely wounded the creature and caused more of the church to collapse, this time directly on the giant. The entire east section of the church was destroyed, leaving no barrier between the villagers and the rest of the zombie horde. "Thank you for shopping at *** whoopings 'R Us." said Smith.

"All right boys and girls... time to take out the trash." Kansas Smith took out her TMP and began mowing down zombies. The other villagers quickly followed suit. They began to advance towards the crowd, taking them down with shotgun blasts, sniper shots to the head, and pistol shots to the knee and lots of machine pistol fire. Kansas Smith tossed John Dover her TMP and withdrew a long blade from her bag. Dover wasted the zombies that were attacking him, and Smith began dismembering any zombies that approached with clean, efficient strikes. When the carnage was over, the zombies were retreating... or what was left of them.

John Dover was in extremely bad shape. He had taken the punishment of 3 zombies, and he was nearly dead. He needed immediate medical attention.

The rest of the night was not uneventful either. Kansas Smith was exhausted from her foraging expedition deep in the forest, where she had located the weapon near a closed US Army base. She was fast asleep when the man (http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/residentevil/images/5/55/AxeManREOutbreak.jpg) entered, holding a bloody axe. He moved closer to Kansas Smith and raised the weapon, and brought it down against her torso....

CRACK!!!

The weapon cracked Smith's bulletproof vest and the axe entered her torso. She woke up with a scream of pain, and took aim at her attacker with her TMP and began to fire... the bullets riddled the creature and he escaped, ripping the axe out of her torso and leaving her with a huge, terrifying wound.
She crawled down the hallway howling for help before she passed out, unconscious from the blood loss. She was not alone, however... someone had followed the Axe Man and witnessed the entire thing. And that person wasn't alone... they called for help immediately.

By now the sun was rising. Everyone had lost ammunition that night... due to the events of the evening there was no way they could conserve ammo.

It would prove to be a very interesting day.

Split, if we lynch you we´ll burn your body then burn your ash and bury it in the church so you might very well be the only person who will not turn into a zombie. That´s probably not really calming but i can´t think of anything else, getting lynched is never fun.

As for today, I think our good foragers should try to get ammo for us I think we have enough guns now. Depending on what happens as the result of the dayphase I think we should seriously consider fighting the horde all together. ATPG´s writeup was very clear that the horde is at its weakest right now...

Day Four



It was a particularly cloudy day... the clouds hung low in the sky and the visibility on the ground wasn't very good. While the town was out foraging, Smith, Jacksonville and Whitmore decided to keep watch in the bell tower of the ruined church. One of the villagers polished his rifle, and made sure it was fully loaded and ready to go. They assumed they would be safe up there, because the zombies had never left the darkness of the forest during the daytime.

From the direction of the falls, the zombies emerged. In spite of their weakened state, they were out in force and more numerous than ever. They immediately ran to the church ruins and began to bang on the wooden door which led inside the bell tower. Within minutes, the door had been smashed in and the zombies were advancing up the old wooden spiral stairs, all the way up to the top of the tower. The rifleman began to pick them off one by one, but many of them had already begun to ascend the tower itself.

The man with the pistol stood at the top of the stairs and knocked a few of the zombies off the stairs with carefully aimed headshots, but soon the horde would be upon them. Kansas told Claude to stand aside, and she began firing her machine pistol in the direction of the horde, specifically at the staircase itself. The bullets riddled the bodies of the undead, but many of them continued to advance. If they made it all the way to the top, they would be overrun and all 3 of them would die.

Smith ran towards the top of the staircase and grabbed hold of the bell rope, and swung across and kicked a zombie in the face, knocking it off of the dilapidated wooden frame and causing it to fall to it's final demise. Pointing her TMP at the horde, she unleashed a torrent of bullets that caused many of them to stagger in pain, and with a roundhouse kick to the lead zombie, many of them began to tumble down the staircase. She withdrew her blade and used it to hack away at the rotting support structure above her. Within seconds the zombies were upon her, biting into her flesh and causing massive pain.... but she continued. Whitmore and Jacksonville aimed carefully and began shooting the zombies off of her, but the damage was done. She was bleeding heavily from several massive wounds and bites, but she managed to hack through the wooden beam which supported the section of stairs above her head. Just as the wooden structure began to collapse, she jumped into the abyss.... and grabbed hold of the bell rope. Section after section of the spiral staircase collapsed onto the section below it, crushing zombies and continuing to pancake until it reached ground level a hundred feet below.

Smith could barely hold onto the rope, and she felt ready to pass out from the blood loss. The other two villagers pulled on the bell rope until she was safely at the top. There they attempted to stop the bleeding until help could arrive. The zombies couldn't reach them now that there was no access to the top of the bell tower... and the ringing of the church bell was sure to cause the foraging villagers to return.




Dusk


The villagers arrived back in town (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/80783) with a bundle of goods. Those in the bell tower (guard post) lowered Kansas C. Smith down to ground level by rope, and they all met at city hall. It was there that the Police Inspector arrested George Townshend on charges of murder and attempted murder. Townshend looked genuinely puzzled, and asked why he was being accused. The Cop told him that he had witnesses and evidence of his activities from last night, and discovered the Bloody Axe in his cell. There was no doubt that George Townshend was the axe murderer. Townshend looked absolutely dismayed by the charges, and could not even offer a defense.

"But... I was asleep.... then again, when I woke up, my clothes were all ripped and covered in blood... but it's all coming back to me now... it was like waking up from a dream... or a nightmare... not knowing if it was real or not... it feels like someone else entirely. I didn't even recall the bloody clothes until you just accused me. What's happening to me? How could this be? Why...."
George Townshend stopped in mid-sentence. The sun had gone down, and the clouds in the sky had dissipated. It was now nighttime.... and his eyes began to change color. They now took on a more yellowish tone. He stood there, confused for a moment.
"What just happened? I blanked out there for a second. Why are you all staring at me like that? Did I do something wrong? I feel.... strange. Like I am coming down with something bad... I feel dizzy... I'm burning up...."

Suddenly, he stopped talking and fell deadly silent. Then he lashed out at the Police Inspector and tried to strangle him.

The officer pulled out a gun and started firing into his stomach, but that didn't help at all. Another villager aimed a shotgun at Townshend's head and blasted it clean off... but Townshend continued to choke the Policeman within an inch of his life. Reloading the shotgun, the villager fired at the torso of the creature, and it was knocked clear of the Policeman. It immediately started to squirm and sprouted tentacles and a second, grotesque looking head... George Townshend must have been infected with the Las Plagas parasites. It got up and escaped from the village and ran into the forest... to join its zombie brethren.

What you fail to realize is that the rules state that you cannot team up when you flee. It´s everybody for himself when fleeing. So feel free to die to zombify and die again by our weapons.

Khazar has a point - we need to all put up our offense ratings, possibly by asking the host so we have some level of anonymity, and then judge if our firepower is enough. To make a point, the Zombies seem to be after me, and since I have excellent health, I can act as a lightning rod and protect the town, until we can find the agent, if we are unable to.

I understand they are probably stronger then us tonight, and chance is not in our favor, but a plan of action is needed, whether defense or offense.

Night Four




Frankie Mulligan and John Dover had enough of this nonsense, and they decided to go their separate ways and escape the town. Mulligan would make a break for Rural Route 2, and Dover would head for the falls and follow the river all the way to Canada. The others thought they were crazy and decided to barricade themselves inside City Hall, since the church had been destroyed.

As soon as the sun went down (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/183469), the ground began to shake... and a loud roar was heard from the direction of the church.... the El Gigante had regenerated and was now heading directly for the remaining survivors. City hall was constructed out of the usual modern materials, which meant that it was easy for the Gigante to break down the walls.

Kansas Smith was not feeling 100%, but she managed to hack through several zombies with her katana. Veronica Orleans used her shotgun and kept many of the zombies at bay... but the group was running out of ammunition, and everyone was looking out for themselves. That is why when the El Gigante picked up Houston Whitmore and hurled him into the zombie horde, no one could do anything to save him... and he was surrounded by four zombies and quickly made into meat. The rest of the night did not go well, either... the town fought gallantly, but it seems the zombies had nearly defeated them. They were backed into a corner... and Smith had to break a window and allow the others to sneak out of it and dash away from the village, into the forest... where they hid until sunrise. The survivors of Fair Haven were nearly annihilated.

John Dover was nearing the falls... when he heard the sounds of zombies coming from the river itself. From behind the falls, there came a swarm of zombies... and from the river, more dead bodies crawled onto the land. The cold, wet bodies were bloated and decaying, but they were all interested in one thing; eating John Dover. But John was no fool.... he had gone through all this before. He chucked his Incendiary Grenade directly at the center of the horde, and it caused a huge explosion of slow burning fuel, which coated the zombies themselves and the ground all around the base of the falls. The bright burning flame made the zombies scatter, including the ones which were on fire. John blasted the heads off of any remaining zombies with his pistol, and said adios to the town of Fair Haven. There was an abandoned dock with a rickety wooden boat tethered to the it, and John hopped in and floated to safety. Frankie Mulligan had gone in the opposite direction; towards Rural Route 2. It seems that most of the zombies were either at the falls or at the village. He encountered a small horde of them on the way to the highway, but his Flash Grenade blinded them and caused them to scatter. Even better, a school bus filled with survivors of the outbreak was passing by and saw the flash, and stopped briefly for Frankie to get on. Frankie just smiled and played with his toy school bus and made the stop sign flap in and out. BEEP BEEP! The wheels on the bus go round and round....

Well of course I´m investigating but I have never seen such powerful weapons before, I don´t know what kind of attack/defense ratings the zombies have but if 5 is the maximum than the axe alone can kill two, combined with the ?broken butterfly? (is that a magnum?) and the katana that somebody has (probably also good) we have a very good attack rating that will only be useful on the offense...

@ ATPG: Can we win without destroying the zombiehorde if we lynch the right player? I guess it´s a gamemechanics question since this game doesn´t have a regular setup...

The zombie horde cannot be destroyed, only damaged, as you saw with the El Gigante buried under the rubble.

Lynching the right player increases town's points at the end of the game, but you will still need to escape.
