The Aftermath
The seven Links gathered in a circle, at the center of the Temple of Time (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mc7BCZFP9Ww). With the direction of Navi, they all raised their left hands into the air. On the backs of each of their hands shone a Golden Triangle of Triangles, with the bottom-left lit even more brightly. As their hands met in the center of the circle, the Triforce of Courage manifested itself in the air above them.

Then, all of a sudden, a blast of white light…
-----------------------------------------------
Link opened his eyes, slowly regaining consciousness and trying to remember where he might be. He quickly silenced his fairy before it could make any loud noises, when he did realize, however.
Ganondorf was at the throne, his back turned to Link, next to Zelda, encased in crystal. His giant sword was poised towards the Princess; apparently he had remembered to bring it this time. With a single stab, Link remembered, Ganondorf planned to kill Zelda and extract the Triforce of Wisdom from her. But Link wasn’t about to let that happen (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XUi1fOtrb0).
"HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
With a loud battle-cry and a charge, Link plunged his Master Sword through the unsuspecting Ganondorf’s back. With the King of All Evil’s concentration broken, Zelda shattered the crystal and showered Ganondorf’s face in magical fire. The Dark Lord roared in pain, stumbling backwards and deeper into Link’s blade.
Retracting his sword and moving around to Ganondorf’s front, Link smashed the crystal on the Dark King’s forehead, and then stabbed him again through the chest, this time leaving the blade. From the sword’s wound outwards, Ganondorf began turning to stone.
“LINK! I… will… destroy… youuuuu……”
No longer supported by Ganondorf’s magic, the tower began to shake and crumble. Link instinctively began to run towards the spiraling staircase, but Zelda had different ideas.
“Link! What are you, stupid? We can’t go that way, get over here!”
Link rushed over to Zelda, and she grabbed his hand. Before Link could have time to blush bashfully, she shouted:
“Farore’s Wind!”
In a magical flash, the two teleported, reappearing outside, a safe distance from the collapsing Tower of Ganon. The two stood silently, watching the tower fall to the ground, and wondering if Ganondorf could possibly survive such a devastating blow. After a while, Zelda turned to Link.
“You know… there were some rough times back there… but that was actually pretty easy, wasn’t it?”
Easy for you, maybe, Link thought. I feel like a part of me has died inside.
THE END.
Here are the role PMs of everyone. Sorry about the lack of formatting, but this is exactly as they appear in my write-up file. I did the rest of the font-size changes and links and stuff as I was sending the PMs out. Enjoy!
You'll also notice that only one role-quote actually has any real words in it. :laugh4:

Young Link
(Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask)
You are the incarnation of Link from the games “Ocarina of Time” and “Majora’s Mask”. In fact, you are the very first, original incarnation of Link, the Hero of Time.
However, there happen to be two Heroes of Time here. When Link returned the Master Sword to its pedestal after defeating Ganondorf, he caused a rift in time. You are the Link that was returned to his original, young age. Following that, you left the Kingdom of Hyrule and journeyed to the land of Termina, where you destroyed the evil Majora’s Mask, and saved Clock Town from the falling Moon. You’re a very capable hero, and you know it. Being the original, you are perhaps the strongest of all of the incarnations of yourself.
You must find the impostor and destroy him; otherwise he will kill each of your incarnations off, one by one, until you no longer exist as an entity.
Your alignment is Link. (Town)
Special Item: Fierce Deity’s Mask
Saving Termina from eternally repeated destruction did not come without its benefits. You’ve collected 20 masks, each with their own special power. The strongest of these is the Fierce Deity’s Mask. Using it, you may transform into Fierce Deity Link and attempt to kill the impostor before he strikes during the night. However, be sure of your enemy before you strike, because the mask has limited power. Should you mistake one of your fellow incarnations as the impostor, you will not be able to use the mask again.

Adult Link
(Ocarina of Time)
You are the incarnation of Link from the game “Ocarina of Time”. In fact, you are the very first, original incarnation of Link, the Hero of Time.
However, there happen to be two Heroes of Time here. When Link returned the Master Sword to its pedestal after defeating Ganondorf, he caused a rift in time. You are the Link that did not travel 7 years back to the past, but instead remained the guardian of Hyrule for the rest of your life. You created the bloodline of the hero, and every subsequent Link from your branch in the timeline is a direct descendant of you. You are, physically, very strong. You had to be, in order to defeat both Ganondorf and his gargantuan beast form, Ganon.
You must find the impostor and destroy him; otherwise he will kill each of your incarnations off, one by one, until you no longer exist as an entity.
Your alignment is Link. (Town)
Special Item: Megaton Hammer
You found this powerful weapon in the Fire Temple, and used it to defeat Ganondorf’s pet dragon, Volvagia. It’s very heavy, but also packs a very big punch, and it was a suitable substitute to fight Ganon with, after he disarmed you and knocked the Master Sword far out of your hands. During the night, you may use the Megaton Hammer to hit another incarnation of yourself over the head, knocking him out and preventing him from doing anything that night. However, this will also make them completely defenseless- if you didn’t hit the impostor, he will have an easy time if he decides to kill that Link.

Link
(The Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass)
You are the incarnation of Link from the games “The Wind Waker” and “Phantom Hourglass”. You have a cel-shaded, anime-inspired character design and some particularly hilarious facial expressions.
You’ve defeated Ganondorf before, as have most other incarnations of yourself, but only with the help of Zelda. You’re still no pushover, however. You’ve braved the dangers of the Great Sea, encountered countless islands (over countless hours of sailing through empty sea), and even dredged up the pieces of the Triforce of Courage from the depths of the ocean. After turning Ganondorf to stone, you sailed off to new lands, and destroyed the sea monster Bellum as well, saving the Ocean King. You are the Hero of Winds.
You must find the impostor and destroy him; otherwise he will kill each of your incarnations off, one by one, until you no longer exist as an entity.
Your alignment is Link. (Town)
Special Item: Mirror Shield
Sadly, neither the Wind Waker nor the Phantom Hourglass are going to help you much in the gray landscape that Hyrule has become. Your Mirror Shield, however, may be more helpful. You found it in the Earth Temple, and by reflecting light off of it, you were able to destroy the giant ghost, Jalhalla. Aside from reflecting light, the shield is also able to deflect magical energy. Using the shield, you’re confident that you can protect another incarnation of yourself from any harm during the night.

Link
(Twilight Princess)
You are the incarnation of Link from the game “Twilight Princess”. You are the darkest representation of Link so far, and probably the most mature looking. You also have a few… canine qualities.
You have a few unique characteristics that set you apart from the other, more kiddy incarnations of yourself. First off, you’re packing a chainmail suit under that tunic of yours. That’s badass. Second, you can turn into a freaking wolf, and rip things to shreds. Third, you’ve got at least three chicks swooning over you at any given point in the game, and one of them isn’t even human. Oh, and you also beat the crap out of Ganondorf. Four times. In a row.
You must find the impostor and destroy him; otherwise he will kill each of your incarnations off, one by one, until you no longer exist as an entity.
Your alignment is Link. (Town)
Special Item: Dark Crystal
You never thought you would be able to use the Twilight King Zant’s curse against him, did you? After freeing Hyrule from the Twilight Realm, the evil curse that transformed you into a wolf was sealed inside this crystal. Using it, you can change at will between your human and wolf forms. With that superior canine sense of smell, you can tell if any other incarnation of yourself is really you: they’ll have the same scent. You may investigate any player during the night.

-Dark Link
Dark Link
(Ocarina of Time)
You are Dark Link, a sinister creation of Ganondorf that imitates the figure and fighting techniques of the Hero of Time.
You killed the incarnation of Link that was found dead soon after the Seal of Time was created, and assumed his form. As it turned out, that Link was from the games “Oracle of Seasons” and “Oracle of Ages”. You’ve managed to create a near-perfect disguise for yourself:
“HYAAAAAAAAH!”
-Link
Link
(Oracle of Seasons/Oracle of Ages)
You are the incarnation of Link from the games “Oracle of Seasons” and “Oracle of Ages”. You’ve got longer hair when compared to other incarnations of yourself.
You’re a lucky incarnation- most only get one adventure, but you managed to have two all to yourself. In no particular order, you were able to defeat the Dark General Onox and save the land of Holodrum using the Rod of Seasons, defeat the Shadow Sorceress Veran and rescue Labrynna from the clutches of evil using the Harp of Ages, and to kill both Twinrova and a reborn Ganon at the same time.
You must find the impostor and destroy him; otherwise he will kill each of your incarnations off, one by one, until you no longer exist as an entity.
Your alignment is Link. (Town)
Special Item: Bombs
There’s not much that can stand in the way of a Bomb. You’ve used them to destroy boulders and make holes in the walls, creating secret passages. You can also shove them down a Dodongo’s throat and watch the dragon spew its guts as it explodes from the inside out. These same bombs will be useful for destroying other special items. If you deem that another incarnation’s special item is more harmful than helpful you can deign to blow it up so he can’t use it again. If you manage to blow up the impostor’s weapon, he’ll be rendered incapable of killing. Be careful, though: there’s only 3 Bombs left in your bag, and once an item has been bombed, it’s gone for good.
Your alignment is Darkness. (Mafia)
You cannot actually use the bombs- you may have taken this Link’s form, but you do not have his items. You must instead kill off every single incarnation of the legendary hero. Only then will he cease to exist completely. If just one incarnation survives and defeats you, he may reincarnate himself the next time Ganondorf is released.
You do have some help, though. Ganondorf has also sent Shadow Link to kill all of the Links, who is disguised as the Blue Four Swords Link.

(The Minish Cap)
You are the incarnation of Link from the game “The Minish Cap”. You look sort of like Wind Waker Link, but are distinguished by the annoying talking hat on your head that calls itself Ezlo.
Despite the four color-coded Links running around and arguing with each other, you are the true wielder of the Four Sword. Using the power of the four elements, you were able to reforge the Master Sword into the Four Sword, which you can use to create 3 copies of yourself that follow your moves, at any time. Using this ability, you were able to destroy the wind sorcerer Vaati. But Vaati isn’t around anymore- you’ve heard that Ganondorf “took care of him” because he was a challenge to his… authority… over the realm… of darkness…?
You must find the impostor and destroy him; otherwise he will kill each of your incarnations off, one by one, until you no longer exist as an entity.
Your alignment is Link. (Town)
Special Item: Four Sword
As you know, you can use the Four Sword to create copies of yourself that look exactly like you. And no, they don’t come in different colors like those four fruitcakes. If you are attacked by an impostor, or even another Link, your clones will cover for you and provide you with a chance of survival. For each copy that takes a hit, however, the chance that an enemy will miss you gets slimmer and slimmer. If all three of your clones are destroyed, you’ll have no defenses left.

(Four Swords Adventures)
You are one fourth of the incarnation of Link from the game “Four Swords Adventures”. You’re the sensible, generally reasonable Link of the bunch.
When you grabbed the Four Sword from its pedestal to fend off the Wind Sorcerer Vaati, you had a couple of unexpected shocks- first, Shadow Link was released and began causing all sorts of mischief. Second, the sword split you into four unruly parts! Only together, by working as a team, were you able to trounce both Vaati and Shadow Link. It’s no surprise then, that only by working together will the four of you be able to find the impostor and beat Ganondorf!
You must find the impostor and destroy him; otherwise he will kill each of your incarnations off, one by one, until you no longer exist as an entity.
Your alignment is Link. (Town)
Special Item: None
You don’t have any special items, because you can never seem to hang on to them. However, you do have several special abilities (and special liabilities, too).
First off, you know the identity of the other three Links. You’ve each decided on a code-name. Red Link is johnhughthom, Blue Link is A Very Super Market, and Purple Link is Yaropolk.
Second, the four of you together may decide to either block, defend, or vigilante-kill another incarnation of yourself. All four orders must match; otherwise you won’t be able to do much of anything.
Here comes the bad news: Third, because the four of you are technically only one incarnation of Link, the rest of them have decided to give you only one vote to split between the four of you. You will have to compromise and work together to achieve your goals- a simple majority amongst you will decide your vote, but if there is a tie in your choices, your vote won’t count at all.

Joining this band does come with its disadvantages, you see. Your vote is compromised, and you may not be able to kill the other Link incarnations without garnering attention if you are expected to help the other Four Swords Links in night actions. And if you attempt to kill one of these three, the other two will surely see and know you are an impostor. It may be easiest just to convince the group to “vigilante” kill.

Link
(A Link to the Past/Link’s Awakening)
You are the incarnation of Link from the games “A Link to the Past” and “Link’s Awakening”. Your hair is pink instead of blonde. What’s up with that?
Despite having pink hair, however, you are no girly-Link. The adventure you completed contained more dungeons than any other Zelda game. That must make you pretty freaking cool. In addition to that, you killed Ganon back when he had that nasty pig-face design and a trident, and your uncle had a sweet mustache… before he died, anyway. Then you had an awesome, tripped out dream where you collected a bunch of magic instruments, so that you could hatch a flying fish out of a giant egg on the top of a mountain.
You must find the impostor and destroy him; otherwise he will kill each of your incarnations off, one by one, until you no longer exist as an entity.
Your alignment is Link. (Town)
Special Item: Hookshot
The awesome Hookshot tool premiered in your adventure, so it’s only fair that you should get to use it now. You’ve used this contraption to launch yourself across platforms by hooking onto special targets. But besides the targets, this thing locks on to just about anything made of wood. If the other Links decide to lynch you for your pink hair, you can Hookshot yourself up to the top of a tall tree and laugh at them while they try to get you down. You might have to stay up there the rest of the night… but that would protect you from the impostor, too! It’s likely that this trick will only work on them once, though- the next time, they’ll figure out that they just have to roll into the tree to knock you down.

Link
(The Legend of Zelda/The Adventure of Link)
You are the incarnation of Link from the games “The Legend of Zelda” and “The Adventure of Link”. That’s right, you’re the Link from the very first Zelda game! That doesn’t make you the first Link, though… it just makes you 8-bit.
You traveled all over Hyrule, raided several caves with old men in them, completed 7 dungeons, got a Silver Arrow, and then shot Ganon with it, defeating him. Then, after that, you unlocked the more difficult Second Quest, and did the same thing over again with slightly harder dungeons! But you got tired of that, and didn’t attempt a Third Quest until about 2 years and 1 game cartridge later. In that adventure, you met a man who was ERROR, and also had to fight you own shadow to wake Princess Zelda from her slumber... hey, your shadow. Wouldn’t he make a perfect impostor? Nah, that’s impossible, you can see your shadow right under your pixilated, 2-Dimensional body.
You must find the impostor and destroy him; otherwise he will kill each of your incarnations off, one by one, until you no longer exist as an entity.

Special Item: Boomerang
The Boomerang is one of the first tools you found, and it sure is useful. You’ve used it to kill Octoroks at a distance, stun other enemies, pick up rupees or arrows, and do lots of other stuff. What you can do with it here will be even more fun! You can use your Boomerang to “borrow” another incarnation of yourself’s special item. That item will be yours to use until your death- or until someone “borrows” it back. When you take the new item, you’ll have to drop your Boomerang, and the incarnation will pick it up. Keep in mind that some incarnations of Link won’t have special items.

CD-i Link
(The Faces of Evil/The Wand of Gamelon/Zelda’s Adventure)
You are the incarnation of Link from the games “The Faces of Evil”, “The Wand of Gamelon”, and “Zelda’s Adventure”. Wait, what? That’s right, you’re the Link from the embarrassingly-bad CD-I Zelda games!
In fact, you’re not even really from true Zelda games. Your animated movements are terrible, your controls are worse, and your voice acting is absolutely horrible. As if that weren’t enough, YOU were the one who got captured by Ganon in two of your three games, and had to be saved by Zelda. You’re more of a joke than really an incarnation of Link. At the same time, though, you’re not really an impostor… so then what are you?
Your goal in this game is to get yourself lynched. If you do this, you will have victory. If you wind up killed by the mafia, you can have no victory. You will only have a minor victory of sorts if you survive the game. Be as annoying or suspicious as possible; you really do deserve to die!
Your alignment is Not Link. (Actor)
Special Item: Wand of Gamelon
During night phases, you can use the Wand of Gamelon on another player. What does it do? That’s a mystery! You won’t know until you try it!

The issue that happened was the roleblock on me by the four swords. We didn't know how to deal it with, we came up with many plans but none of them seemed to be good. Finally we picked what we did, hoping for the best...
Also, AVSM was traveling or busy through the whole game, so it was probably hard on him as well. Sorry for bothering you with all the PMs. :shame:
When we started, I didn't even know exactly who Shadow Link was, I said my cover role name in the thread to have him contact me but he still hadn't gotten to me by the first night.
I figured I'll just kill someone who wasn't Shadow Link, and split had my gut going as detective so I sent in an order. Obviously had I not changed this, the game might have turned out very differently... :laugh4:
A bit later AVSM contacted me and showed my the Four Sword quicktopic. I saw "Purple Link", "Apprentice the first", and "QJC". Gathering that Apprentice the first was john from Swords and d20's, I asked AVSM who Purple Link was, as he seemed to be the main organizer and I wanted to off him, but again, he couldn't get back to me in time, so I just picked QJC because his name was explicit. :laugh4:
So sorry for killing you early QJC. I didn't realize you had had a recent string of dying early and I wouldn't have killed you had I known. :disappointed:
At that point, the Four Swords quicktopic had nothing but the four members, so I was thinking might as well kill one now to make it easier to free Shadow Link. Obviously in retrospect split was a much better choice, but at that point, a gut feeling is overcome by actually seeing who is who.
I wanted White eyes dead just because in the second day. :laugh4: I didn't know who he was, however, by the end of the day, gibsons took the heat , which was fine with me, as I figured with all the Four Swords role fishing that everyone had a role. We saw that split and DJG were the two main problems for us at that time, so split was going to be the kill that night. All was going well, or was it. :inquisitive:
AVSM told me sometime into the night that the Four Swords were going to roleblock me. Also, DJG was going to protect split. :wall: We were faced with a number of options:
1) Have both of us kill split and DJG. This would expose AVSM pretty badly (and unknown to us, me also).
2) Have AVSM roleblock me with the other Four Swords, and I simply not send my order in. I think this would have exposed me as no kill would occur.
3) Have AVSM just not send in his order and have me kill DJG. At that point, it seemed like the best idea because I never knew the Four Swords would still get night result PMs. Also AVSM had already sent in his order and cc'd it, which obviously didn't look to good.
I tried a "mass roleclaim" not for the reason to fish out roles (at that point, all but atheotes and YLC were known to us), but to get the roleblock off my back by the Four Swords by making my role public. Unfortunately, they didn't stop it. :wall:
When Chaotix sent me my result PM, telling me that Red and Purple Link had actually seen me, and White eyes had come after me with his boomerang, I felt screwed. :laugh4: However, in the early going, I was able to ease both john's and White eyes suspicions and not have any votes on me despite getting caught with my pants down! :2thumbsup: :laugh4:
I was thinking we would get away with this close call with probably YLC getting lynched. Then at night both AVSM and I would kill the other two Four Swords to have them silent. With this plan, I would probably would have died soon after, and maybe AVSM would get suspicion on him later because he was the only one left, but it would have been better than what happened.
Chaotix had made the night phase extra long that night, so Yaropolk had enough time to come and stick with his suspicion on me. And you know the rest... :clown:
