The Red Phoenix

Winter, 208 A.D.

[...]Jiang Gan had been tricked once by Zhou Yu, and that had ended in the death of his Master's top two naval commanders, Cai Mao and Zhang Yun. Upon returning for a second time, he had been sent to the wilderness until the remainder of the battle. But lo! His luck changed as he found none other than the famed Young Phoenix himself, studying near the hut to which he had been sent to by Zhou Yu! The conversation between both was as described:

Jiang Gan said, "How often have I heard you talked about! You are famous. But why are you hidden away in this spot?"

Pang Tong replied, "That fellow Zhou Yu is too conceited to allow that anyone else has any talent, and so I live here quietly. Were I to find a fitting Lord to serve, I would do my utmost to aid his cause."

Jiang Gan quickly interposed, "With your gifts, you would succeed anywhere! If you would enter Cao Cao's service, I would recommend you to him."

"I have long desired to get away from here." Young Phoenix responded "And if you, Sir, will present me, there is no time like the present. If Zhou Yu heard of my wish, he would kill me, I am sure."

Thus Jiang Gan fell for the trap and soon enough he had brought Pang Tong right to the middle of Cao Cao's gigantic camp. Originally, the plan devised by Zhou Yu consisted on advising Cao Cao to chain his navy together, so his army from the north of the Middle Kingdom would suffer less from navy related illnesses. Afterwards it would be a question of waiting for the wind to change and attack Cao Cao's navy with fire.

However, Pang Tong thought it was ridiculous and highly dangerous to commit the strategy of an entire kingdom on a leap of faith towards a manifestation of Heaven. Also there was a high probability that Cao Cao would survive such an attack and manage to retreat back to Xu Chang, remaining as the most powerful Chinese Warlord. As such, Young Phoenix thought it much wiser to infiltrate as Cao Cao's advisor and assassinate him during the night. Thus the morale of his armies would collapse at the news of his death and an immediate attack would follow in a great victory. Without Cao Cao's leadership, his domains would break apart, allowing for the establishment of Sun Quan and Liu Bei in Cao Cao's former lands.

When Cao Cao heard that the newcomer was Master Young Phoenix, Cao Cao went to meet him personally, made him very welcome, and soon they sat down to talk on friendly terms.

Cao Cao said, "And so Zhou Yu in his youth is conceited and annoys his officers and rejects all their advice: I know that. But your fame has been long known to me, and now that you have been gracious enough to turn my way, I pray you not to be thrifty of your advice."

Thus Cao Cao and Pang Tong went 'round the camp, and Young Phoenix praised him so greatly as they spoke of military matters that Cao Cao was content with his new adherent and his abilities and treated him with great honor.

Thus Cao Cao brought Pang Tong into his inner trusting staff, and was given lodging in the camp. Pang Tong went to his tent for the night quite satisfied with his plans being carried out accordingly. Over the next week, several written admoestrations and protests flew across Cao Cao's camp, all for the soldiers to read. They protested against Pang Tong, using claims of inaptitude, inexperience, lack of knowledge of the army's situation, and that the Prime Minister was losing confidence in his own staff.

The memos were written with very aggressive, borderline mutinous, and erudite language, which made it seem like it was written by one of the more intelligent men. This gave way to rumors as to who was writing the circulating papers. Of course, the soldierly, began pointing fingers at the original staff, that they were dissatisfied with the importance that the Prime-Minister was giving a newcomer, and that they were becoming mutinous.

Pang Tong and Cao Cao himself said to his staff that this was probably some kind of plot by Zhou Yu to sow dissention among Cao Cao's high ranks. As such, nothing was done against the advisors in the camp. The advisors themselves began to suspect of one another, lest they wished to overthrow Cao Cao and become the leaders themselves.

At dusk, during one of days where the rumors were at the peak, Young Phoenix was returning once again back to his tent after checking naval preparations for a sortee when he was intercepted by a man.

The man said, "You are very bold. Using a ruse by Zhou Yu to gain access and the trust of Cao Cao. And forging papers to cast doubts among Cao Cao and his staff of each other's intentions. You certainly intend to kill the Prime Minister. This sort of mischievous work may have been enough to deceive Cao Cao and the others, but I saw it all."

Pang Tong become helpless with fear---his viscera flown away, his spirit scattered.

Upon turning to look at the man, Pang Tong saw it was Xu Shu, an old friend, and his heart revived.

Looking around and seeing no one near, Pang Tong said, "It would be a pity if you upset my plan. The fate of the people of all the eighty-one southern counties is in your hands."

Xu Shu smiled, saying, "And what of the fate of these eight hundred thirty thousand soldiers and horse of the north?"

"Do you intend to wreck my scheme, Xu Shu?"

"I have never forgotten the kindness of Uncle Liu Bei, nor my oath to avenge the death of my mother at Cao Cao's hands. I have said I would never think out a plan for him. So am I likely to wreck yours now, brother? I have been wanting to kill the tyrant ever since I left Lord Liu, but so far I had not had the chance to do it. Now the situation that you have created is most propituous, and together we can easily dispose of his close staff and murder him."

Pang Tong nodded, saying "It is necessary that we kill his entire close staff since otherwise if Cao Cao dies, they will be able to organize a careful and methodical retreat to attack at a later time, and one of them will take Cao Cao's place. Thus this opportunity will be forever lost. Otherwise, if there are only brute headed generals left, with little grasp of the Art of War, simple plots will break up their demoralized army and their fate will be sealed here in the South."

Xu Shu nodded. "Very well. Let's start tonight."

Pang Tong gave a nod as a sign of agreement and both went back to their tents until night arrived.

Hello, and welcome to the "The Red Phoenix" RTK-based Small Mafia game. This game is a testing ground to see if the Mafia game has enough popularity here so I can go forward with my plans to make a large Mafia game based on RTK as well.

I. Basic Mafia Rules
There are several sides in this game, each with their own goal.

Basic mafia rules apply. For those new to mafia, I'll repeat them here, for your convenience:

The Wei Officers are the townies in this game.

The townies are the innocent people and they have to lynch the mafiosi during the day. The mafiosi/Werewolves can kill a set number of townies each night. When all mafiosi are lynched, the town wins. When all townies are dead, the mafia wins.

Each day or night phase will last 24 hours. This may be extended due to real life circumstances.

The townies have to decide during the day by voting who will get lynched. The person with the most votes, will be lynched.

Votes have to be made like this:

Vote : XiahouMao

When you want to switch your vote, you have to do it like this:

Unvote : XiahouMao ; Vote : Elysia

Please remember to BOLD YOUR VOTES! UNBOLDED VOTES WILL NOT BE COUNTED! No exceptions will be made.

Note:

In this game, voting "No Lynch" will be counted as an abstain. When a tie is reached at the end of the day, the game host will randomly (as in "completely at random") lynch one of the players in the tie.

I expect activity and discussion for this game. Mafia games only work when everyone is discussing to find out who is Mafia, and finding discrepancies and irregularities in the opinions of people throughout the game. If you fail to vote twice in a row without a reason, or are generally inactive, you will either be replaced (If there are replacement players) or you will suffer the Wrath of Zhang Jue, which means your character will die a horrible, horrible death.

II. Specific rules

* Revealing your role "in private" (= outside of this thread) is not allowed.
* It's not allowed to quote role pm's or night actions results in private. Feel free to quote all other pm traffic, including mine (unless I explicity state in a particular pm that you are not allowed to quote it). You can quote/fabricate/forge anything you want in the public thread while being alive. Quoting chatlogs idem ditto.
* Do not post screenshots. Under any circumstance.
* The dead are allowed to talk in the thread, but cannot communicate about this game outside of the thread.
* No post mortem reveal of role/night actions. No post mortem quoting/copy-pasting of pm's, chatlogs or any other non public communication ("non public communication" as in "communication that occured outside of this thread) you had while still alive. Paraphrasing, alluding, fabricating, forging is allowed.

III. Roles.

- Two members of the Wu-Shu conspiracy: They infiltrated the Inner Circle of advisors of Cao Cao and will try to eliminate them! If they kill all of them, then Cao Cao will never be saved by Guan Yu, his empire will break apart and neither Liu Bei nor Sun Quan will get anything! Gongsun Yuan will descend at the speed of light with battle droids on Cao Cao's possessions and conquer the entire empire (Joked this way to make sure Wu-Shu fanbois don't purposedly try to ruin the game). They are the Mafiosi, they can kill at night and vote as a regular townie during the day.

- Cao Cao : He will be chosen at random (Like everyone else) and his identity will be revealed in public. He cannot be killed by the mafia until he's the last "townie" left. He cannot vote (For gameplay reasons) until there are only 6 people left but may chose the lynch method (Meaning he can either tell me how he wants to execute the most voted person, or he can give me an execution text, which I will edit according to game reasons and use it as the lynch for that day).

- One or more secret roles whose abilities are secret (Besides being able to vote during the day).

- Everyone else are standard townies!

The Red Phoenix - Night 1

The night went for the most part quietly, as most of the army camped in the Northern shore of the Three Gorges slept soundly as well, except for the portions who were on duty at night, keeping a watchful eye on the river in case the navy of Wu decided to do a surprise raid on the army's positions. It wasn't very likely, but it was in accordance to the Art of War to prepare against the unexpected, and Cao Cao was known as a Master of warfare. However, on the second watch, one of the soldiers guarding the inner grounds where most of the close staff of Cao Cao was lodged spotted a strange figure roaming around in a suspicious manner. He gripped his spear, stepped up silently as close as he could to the figure, and when it appeared the figure noticed him and was beginning to make his escape, the soldier shouted "zhi!/Halt!" at the sound of this, the figure scattered, but the soldier began his persuit, and calling for his fellow colleagues to help him.
After only a few seconds, it appeared that the soldier would be able to detain the unknown figure but as he proceeded to grab the intruder, he tripped on a rock and banged his head on the ground, knocking him unconscious until other soldiers arrived to help him. But by then the intruder had already disapeared.

The incident was duly reported to Cao Cao, who then after deliberating for a some hours, summoned his close staff to the main tent at the fifth watch. Once all were present and sat according to rank and importance, Cao Cao began.

"As all of you are aware, there is some wicked person amongst our ranks who has put some callunious papers to spread across our camp, with the obvious intention of attempting to unsettle us and create a wedge between us all, wherefore we begin to suspect of each other's intentions, and destroys the elan and the edge of our entire army. Though I had dismissed such ideas as mere rumor and bad talk, it seems that we do have someone among us that is contrary to the command given to me by the Emperor to cleanse and pacify the land of rebels. Some amongst you prefer to side with brigands like Liu Bei and Sun Quan and wish to eliminate me. But do not forget that I have survived a myriad other assassination attempts, and it shall not be in a campaign that you shall assassinate me. I tell you this because someone was caught spying on a certain officer's tent by our men on watch at night. Unfortunately, the man wasn't caught and is now at large. Through the description the men have given me, it seems that those letters were indeed right and that one or several of you wish to have my head, though whoever that was, it did not attempt to kill anyone.
I have several suspects, and would gladly put them to death, but their skills and advice are greatly useful to our effort, and it would be a tremendous pity, as well as inauspicious to start killing my closest advisors on a mere suspicion. Therefore, and in the spirit of equity and fairness, I shall allow you all to present your arguments as to who is the real spy amongst us. Whoever is considered the main suspect by the council will be henceforth beheaded and his head exposed around the camp as a warning for all spies and deserters. You have until the sixth watch to deliberate and present your arguements."

Having finished saying his piece, Cao Cao motioned for the council to begin discussing the suspects. Beside him were scores of scribes ready to document the entire event and insert it into the annals of Han history as yet another conspiracy that Prime-Minister Cao Cao foils. Cao Cao called a servant to bring and present wine to everyone, as this would be a long debate, Cao Cao thought.

The Red Phoenix - Day 1

Final Tally:
Yaseikhaan (2) - ATPG, Diana Abnoba
Centurion1 (2) - DiY, AVSM
Death is Yonder (1) - Sprig
Sprig (1) - Paulus Tertius
Diana Abnoba (1) - Centurion1

Despite Cao Cao's demand that the situation be discussed, in good truth his staff knew little about the incident so far, and thus all men under the Prime Minister's command contented themselves with petty disputes and juvenile rivalry. Each presented arguments against the others based on inaction and unwillingness to speak, along with unfamiliarity with the recent history of the Middle Kingdom.

In the end and four hours passed and the fifth watch had come. Yaseikhaan and Centurion1 were brought forth as the most suspicious ones according to the council's arguments. Cao Cao looked over both and sighed. He dismissed Yaseikhaan's suspicions and quickly pointed to Mao Jie, raising himself from his chair. "It appears whoever leads our navy is cursed. You have certainly not learned from the mistakes of Cai Mao and Zhang Yun, and like them, you join up with Zhou Yu to bring about my downfall? Truly, our navy is poisoned with traitors. I always thought highly of you Mao Jie, but to think that you would oppose the will of the Emperor and would conspire to slay one of his most loyal and dutiful ministers? Had you succeeded, the people, simple and hard-working folks that they are, would eat you alive for your despicable crime."

Without further ado Cao Cao bluntly exclaims "I have made my decision. Guards! Behead this man and show his head around the camp as a warning for all conspirators!"

https://i642.photobucket.com/albums/uu150/Joltie/CaoShangSan11PK2009-08-2516-20-01-9.jpg

Centurion1 was thus ejected out of the main tent and once outside, was beheaded by the military lictors. The rest of staff was dismissed and ordered to take their duties. Cao Cao on the other hand began having many headaches. Not only did he think Mao Jie was indeed a loyal man, he was also one of the very few in his army who had some naval experience. The responsibility for training the naval forces now fell solely on General Yu Jin. The consequence of today's execution, thought Cao Cao, would lead solely to a slower training of his army in handling combat in the water. Overall it was a bad day for Cao Cao and his men.

With the day over, Cao Cao's staff retreated back to their tents and awaited another day of intense training, provided that Mao Jie was indeed the sole dissenter in Cao Cao's inner circles.

The Red Phoenix - Night 2

This night, the inner courtyards were much more busy than usual, cortesy of the recent incident last night. The patrols and soldiers posted to each tent had more than doubled. Soldiers were always coming and going and it appeared that at least this night would be a safe night. As a consequence, each member of Cao Cao's close staff, except for a few more warlike Generals, had difficulty sleeping.

A conspirator however, managed to successfully evade being spotted by the soldiers, being double-cautious especially after what happened to him on the previous day: Before going to his bed, he took a walk around the inner courtyards, studying the new patrol patterns that had been issued by Cao Cao exactly that day. As soon as he had figured out the necessary patterns, the advisor went back to his tent until the second watch. It was at that time, after analyzing for some minutes the patrols walking near his tent, that he ventured out and dodged Cao Cao's grunts and eventually made his way into the surroundings of Diana Abnoba's tent.

That tent was vigourously guarded, but the conspirator already knew that, and had taken the necessary precautions to overcome it and escape unscathed. As such, he had laden some grain carts which were next to Cao Cao's and his close staff's campaign cookers, with highly combustible objects, and since these were stored along with other wooden casing objects, carefully arranged by the conspirator himself, it would create an immediate ruckus as soon as the fires ignited. So, before coming to Diana's tent, the conspirator lit a fuse which led into one of the grain carts. Fortunately, that tent was very close to Diana's tent which would make the guards leave their posts guarding the tent and rush to try and douse the flames.

The conspirator laughed as the grain tent's light turned red and the guards left their posts to alert other people towards the arson. Quickly he entered into the General's tent, and found Xiahou Dun asleep, with his back turned towards the entrance. Chuckling in his mind, the conspirator unsheathed his dagger, and approached cautiously the General, which if awaken, would quickly dominate the assailant. As he stepped closer, Xiahou Dun abruptedly turned himself to the attacker, who froze for some seconds out of fear. Fortunately, Xiahou Dun continued fast asleep, and thus the conspirator got close to him and slashed his throat quickly. Xiahou Dun awoke quickly, and despite being unable to breathe, his expression turned quickly from a painful one to a fiery one, and in his last moments he tried to reach and grab his attacker. However, the attacker could gave another blow to his chest, and Xiahou Dun would not move again.

http://www.kongming.net/11/i/p/port_lg/332-Xiahou-Dun_B.jpg
Xiahou Dun, General of Sharp Edge, has been assassinated.

As the conspirator cleaned his blade with a hankerchief inside Xiahou Dun's tent and sheathed back his dagger, placing it inside his robe, he came back to the murdered man's entrance and peeked outside. He couldn't help but smile for his plan was coming to fruitition. Obviously, in the beginning, the flames would not be great in size, and thus would not alert the whole camp, but only the surrounding areas, making the needed guards abandon their posts. Only when the flames grew, would the entire inner courtyards be roused and come out to see what the problem would be.

The flames grew as more soldiers arrived and the very tent caught fire. Soldiers and horsemen and archers from outside the camp came carrying many buckets water and these added to the confusion of the soldiers from inside the courtyard which came to the aid. Such fuss woke up all the advisors and Generals, who came out to see what had happened. Quickly enough, the conspirator took advantage of some soldiers who happened to be running very near the tent to, after they passed, quickly mingle himself with the other men. In due time, the flames were controlled and the advisors went back to their tents. Cao Cao, however stayed up for a little while and sent soldiers to see if every major officer was still alive. To his regret, soldiers did in fact come back to say that his trusted cousin had been murdered, at which time Cao Cao began weeping. Zhang He, which was dealing with the aftermath of the flames, came quickly to his Lord and asked "My lord, why are you weeping?"
Cao Cao replied, "Alas! My Xiahou Dun has been murdered! He was as my right arm in battle!" Other military officers counselled the Prime Minister to withdraw to his tent. However, these news travel fast and before dawn, the entire camp knew of the events of this night.

The next morning, Cao Cao issued orders so that no signs of mourning nor any public discussion of the events would take place, under the punishment of death. Cao Cao knew that since deaths had happened due to internal dissent, he did not only not wish for Wu to see signs of disturbance in the army, which might lead to an attack, but he also did not want to promote discussion of rebellion inside the army.
Soon enough, Xiahou Dun was buried in a temporary grave, in a coffin. At his burial, Cao Cao wept further, and vowed to bury Xiahou Dun in Wu, as a sign that he would overcome his enemies despite being smitten at his closest and most loyal followers.
After the burial, in the afternoon all Cao Cao's close officers were once again called to decide upon the fate of themselves. Cao Cao was dressed in white mourning attiral, and called to his advisor. "Xiahou Dun is dead. Assassinated by one of you. I know I will eventually kill you, and I shall lean upon all of you, great minds to find out who the culprit is, as I'm not in my right state of mind to do so. As such, present the arguments for who do you think is behind this wicked murder." The officers began quickly busying themselves to present forth accusations to one another.

The Red Phoenix - Day 2

Final Tally:
Yaseikhaan (3) - ATPG, Joooray, atheotes
Joooray (2) - FH, DiY
atheotes (2) - Beskar, Sprig
FactionHeir (1) - Yaseikhaan

This day had been significantly more active than the previous one, now as most advisors sprung from their seats making elaborate arguments accusing the others of being the ones behind the death of Xiahou Dun. Probably the fire started at night and the fact that someone had indeed been killed probably had made them all edgy and eager to find out who was behind the plot, rather than caring about a spy who wouldn't harm them directly, yet which could endanger them in battle.
Regardless, hours passed and the council had focussed on three members, until atheotes rose from his seat and acused his colleague. "It was Yaseikhaan! Remember that he previously served our enemy Liu Bei and his heart has never left that petty wandering bandit!" Other advisors who had also accused Yaseikhaan nodded and cried in choir "atheotes is right! It can only be Xu Shu!"
Therefore Xu Shu was seized by the guards, and Cao Cao called. "What they say is exactly what I think. You served Liu Bei and your plans killed many lives when you were under him. While you served me, you couldn't come up with any devious plans of your own, and now that I am before my moment of glory, you intend to alienate me from my trusted advisors and have murdered my cousin? I suppose the death of your mother was not reason enough to understand you should never deal with that coward Liu Bei?" Cao Cao's expression than changed, "And you would dare kill me???" Cried Cao Cao, visibly angry. He continued "Guards, take this dog away and behead him. Send a messenger with his head to Liu Bei and tell him if he doesn't surrender, that will be his fate in the coming battle. Xu Shu said very little throughout the entire speech until Cao Cao ordered his guards to kill him. Only then he began shouting a volley of abuse "You tyrant! Wicked and vile rebel! Corrupt and mean soul! Despicable rat! You will pay for your crimes against the Han and the people! You-" By then the guards had already carried him out of the tent. The advisors continued hearing various loud sounds until they heard a sword cut through flesh, and everyone knew Xu Shu was no more.

https://i642.photobucket.com/albums/uu150/Joltie/CaoShangSan11PK2009-08-2516-20-01-9.jpg

As most advisors went back to their daily duties, Cao Cao thought that the arguments had been quite convincing and that Xu Shu was indeed the conspirator behind the killing.

With the day over, Cao Cao's staff went to their tents and while most thought it over, a few were not so sure yet.

Heres what's happening folks, I planned to stay this weekend here at my college dorm in Lisbon where I have net and could proceed the game harmlessly. Usually, as most of you know, when I'm not at my college dorm I'm travelling towards my home in Northern Portugal near Oporto where I also have internet. Thing is I came back to Lisbon with my grandmother, which went further on to Setubal. She is old and has parkinson and is in Setubal alone (While she isn't helpless, I'd much rather be and help her out). Furthermore, she has invited me to go spend this weekend with her. She has been extremely helpful to me in my life, and it would be tremendously unfilial not to go spend this weekend with her. The catch is that her house (She now lives with my familly up north but needed to come here to the South to deal with some issues) here in the South doesn't have internet, thus most probably will not be able to post anything/much this weekend. This includes the game. Fortunately I have many relatives in the city where my grandmother is, so the only chance will be that after this phase is over I go to one of my cousin's places and check out the orders sent until the deadline, come back home after visit, use my laptop to write the write-up, then I eventually go to their place again when I have written the write-up and post it here. Still, this is a long shot, as probably I won't be able to proceed with the game until next monday. Provided the mods give me leeway for this to remain open throughout the week-end then the game will proceed as usual in monday/tuesday.

Due to possibility that I may be able to write and post the write-up before monday, the deadline still ends today, in a few hours.

Of course, if he wanted to save Khaan he might have voted for atheotes.

In summary, based on that last voting round, here are some people I find having a halo of innocence-

1. Askthepizzaguy (Of course!)
2. Joooray (placed his vote on Khaan early, didn't move it)
3. atheotes (lynching vote)

Now, Death is Yonder had me wondering.... his vote on White_eyes almost seemed like a reaction to my voting for Khaan. Then his vote for Joooray seemed like he was desperate to find another patsy. But, I don't know if that holds up. He could have saved Khaan by voting for atheotes. I think that deserves a one-round reprieve.

vote: atheotes

Obviously the traitor.

Perhaps the scummiest vote all round.

Khaan had two votes, and Beskar seems like he wants to get a bandwagon on atheotes, the guy who ends up capping a mafia. Not only seems like a nervous reaction, but the vote itself seems dead wrong to me. If atheotes is mafia he's driven a screwdriver into my brain.

My finger of suspicion lands squarely on Beskar, who I presently consider to be the most likely to be mafia given the previous round's activity.

After that, you might look to Subotan, who replaced White_Eyes and therefore I can't get a reading off of it. AVSM and Paulus both had the chance to spare Khaan and didn't, and Paulus voted for Beskar. Which was never recorded by the game host. Beskar is my top suspect at the moment, so I consider this a good vote. Personally, I'm not a fan of not voting. I'm so tempted to go with AVSM, but I think perhaps the reason Khaan got destroyed so soon was... maybe... White_Eyes not being there to spare him. If it isn't Beskar, it could be White_Eyes/Subotan.

Third place, I might pick AVSM for not voting, personal preference. However, that's almost a good thing considering he could have saved khaan. And I might be right regarding Beskar or Subotan. But maybe not AVSM.... I don't know. Yaseikhaan likes the tactic of voting his partner, he's done it quite a bit IIRC. I can't really pick my third suspect at this point, even though Death is yonder is driving me absolutely insane with his posts... they smell so bad but they don't mesh with his voting pattern. Stop being so scummy!

Sprig's vote on atheotes puts him in top contention, but he could have voted for joooray.

The Red Phoenix - Night 3

Apparently the death of a fellow officer the previous night had unsettled Cao Cao's advisors. As night engulfed the Heaven and each advisor retired to their tents, the patrols had doubled. But that did not thwart atheotes. He slipped out of his tent and went to investigate someone. He was caught mid-way by a patrol, but he quickly told the soldiers that he had been summoned by Cao Cao for a talk, thus he quickly disposed of the grunts. As he approached the tent of his target and began plotting on how to also remove the guards at the tent's doors, someone patted him on the back while he heard a dagger unsheathe. "Looking for someone..?" said the person. Turning to see who was with him, Jia Xu was extremely startled and taken aback for he had recognized who the person was. "You!?-" It was the last thing Jia Xu said, just before the man drove his dagger into Jia Xu's throat, and quickly vanished into the nearby tents.

https://i642.photobucket.com/albums/uu150/Joltie/316-Jia-Xu.jpg
Jia Xu, Palace Counsellor of Han has been assassinated.

Only one minute had elapsed before a patrol found the corpse and alerted the inner courtyards.
That assassination, almost foiled the plans of another person who, having misled some patrols which operated in the area he wanted to go to, was sighted by scores of soldiers from outside of the courtyard which had come with the alert of Jia Xu's death. As a consequence, the soldiers quickly concluded that the sighted man was Jia Xu's killer and soon enough, that group was thus alerting other guards to the man's presence. Fortunately for him, his quickly wit put him on flight, with only that score of soldiers after him. He entered into a tent where weapons were stored, grabbed a sword and made a big cut in the tent, allowing him to quickly escape through the gap. The other soldiers, weighed down by armor and weapons had significantly more difficulty passing through the gap. The man quickly slipped into another tent, and made a similar cut like the previous tent, only that he then hid behind some barrels, misleading the soldiers into believing the person had gone through the tent. Before long, the camp was swarming with soldiers for the second straight day and another advisor killed. Cao Cao was extremely bitterful and wailed again "Why Heaven do you take my arms thus!? Jia Xu had no equal to him!" Indeed Jia Xu was a man of gigantic intellect, and one of Cao Cao's greatest advisors. Cao Cao could not conform himself with losing such another valuable asset.
However, other advisors pointed out that contrary to Xiahou Dun, Jia Xu had not been murdered in his tent, but was up to no good himself, as he was close to other high officer's tents, where he was assassinated. Still Cao Cao payed no heed to that talk, as he knew Jia Xu was always loyal to his lords. Cao Cao then began thinking that Xu Shu's death had also been in vain as the killings also continued. "Phreaps most of the council had been infiltrated?" thought Cao Cao.
He sighed in regret and said to those around him. "Truly, the only one I trust in this world is none other than my Xu Chu."
After the body of Jia Xu properly put in a coffin and buried and the search for the killer ended in failure once again, Cao Cao retreated back to his tent in a sulky mood. The next day, Jia Xu would be sent to Xu Chang to be buried in a mausoleum. Cao Cao also memorialized the Imperial Throne to make him posthumous Marquis of Gozang, his birthplace, as recognition for his great ability and skill.

The next day the council of advisors reconvened once again, and Cao Cao did put it bluntly, "Our camp is filled with vile people and wicked men of little ability. Not only Cai Mao and Zhang Yun, Mao Jie and Xu Shu, but it appears someone else is still unsatisfied with my command. He is therefore a rebel to Imperial authority and must therefore be put to death. Last night as you all know, Jia Xu was murdered, and that means one of you is the culprit. Though difficult he may be to find and his arguments are surely disarming, do not forget that you are all the best minds of the age. You must find him. Now." Cao Cao was beginning to grow weary of saying this phrase "Present your arguments and let us find out who do you all think is the culprit behind Jia Xu's death."

https://i642.photobucket.com/albums/uu150/Joltie/CaoShangSan11PK2009-08-2516-19-59-1.jpg

The advisors began getting ready to exchange accusations once again, and phreaps find out who was the culprit of the murder.

Not much of one.

The premise is, Yaseikhaan should not have died last round if the traitors were on the ball. Someone dropped the ball. I blame the inactive player, White_Eyes, who was replaced by Subotan.

However I have no objection to getting rid of a vote switcher. Yes, often times these are good roles, but I prefer that the loyal people here have full control over the vote.

Sprig, that almost sounds like... well maybe not a serial killer but perhaps a third party guilty person? We do not know that much about the game setup, and it is possible there was more than just two traitors we need to deal with.

I'm a lazy *******, so please if anyone would point out to me in the story that Jolt wrote anything which might hint of a case against anyone besides our two main traitors. If there is evidence in-game against this Xun Yu, I will change my vote. Until then, I'm going to be super lazy and stick with the candidate I have chosen, as it has served me so well this game already.

The Red Phoenix - Night 4

After Xun Yu had died, the advisors went to their daily duties, inspecting the armies and drilling the soldiers. Once night had fallen once again, the patrols were more light than in the previous two nights, phreaps since Cao Cao had noticed that they were barely doing anything useful. As such, at the second watch, someone had considerably more easiness going through the camp unseen until he came towards the tent of Askthepizzaguy. The person knew that despite the patrols being more scarce, all tent guards had been diven strict orders to remain guarding the tent under any circumstance. The usual ploys to distract them wouldn't thus work.

Meditating for some minutes on what to do, he decided the only chance he'd have would be to unusually bold, as doing so, he went back to his tent, changed clothes to more soldierly ones, donned his armor and helm, but removed any signs that would indicate him as a major officer. Afterwards he quickly forged a small order on paper using Cao Cao's writing. Having achieved these things, he went back to the tent and presented the guards the document to allow him to enter as he had urgent business to consult with Askthepizzaguy at night. The guards closely looked at the order, and appeared to have been done in some fine paper, with Cao Cao's caligraphy, they allowed the assailant passage. The attacker approached silently to a sleeping ATPG, unsheathing his dagger. As he went for the kill, he heard a voice from the shadows, in one side of the tent which was completely dark "Now what do we have here? Are you attempting to murder an high minister of the State?" By then the attacker was taken completely aback, even more so, as Askthepizzaguy turned from his bed and rose as active and awaken as it was still day, and the figure that sprung out of the shadows was none other than the fearful Xu Chu, Cao Cao's personal bodyguard.

Quaking in fear, his helm fell, but by then he was already on the run, cutting through the tent with his dagger. Xu Chu thought during the glimpse he had at the attackers face spotted phreaps Pang Tong, but he couldn't be sure as it happened too fast. Regardless, Xu Chu followed hot on his pursuit as Askthepizzaguy called the guards to aid the bodyguard.

The guards quickly sprung into alert mode and shouted that an intruder had been found, and went after Xu Chu and the attacker. Xu Chu, obviously much more fit than the attacker, was quickly upon him, until the attacker turned into a tent and vanished momentarily. Still with the adrenaline rushing through his body, soon enough the soldiers which were following him called that they spotted the attacker escaping through a hole dug beneath that tent, and thus the pursuit was back on. Strangely enough, the guards soon spotted another intruder which had also been sighted around where the attacker came from, and the guards went after him, thus leaving Xu Chu alone persuing the attacker.

Xu Chu quickly began catching up to the attacker, when he went into a side entrance of the inner-courtyard armory. Xu Chu knew there was only one way in and no way through, because the armory was not made of cuttable cloth but of wood. As he reached the door and came to a complete halt before looking into the armory which was completely dark, Xu Chu knew he had the attacker trapped and with no way out. Pang Tong too knew he had been trapped as he was hiding behind a crate with weapons, in the darkness of the building. He tried to calm himself down so his heavy breath wouldn't allow Xu Chu to know where or if he was there, but peeking over the crate towards the entrance, he could only see Xu Chu grin towards the darkness, and he knew Xu Chu wouldn't move from there until someone came with torches to light the room up and finally catch him. Young Phoenix began realizing he was going to meet his end that night and that his plans had come to naught.

However the Heavens would not let it be so.

As Xu Chu stood grinning at the armory's entrance, soldiers from elsewhere called Xu Chu for help as they had spotted the attacker and he was escaping. "Phreaps the attacker had already opened a passage from the armory and had already escaped as I stood here looking towards the darkness? What a fool I am." thought Xu Chu. Thus Xu Chu began getting doubts if Pang Tong was there, so he abandoned the entrance of the armory to go help the guards with the sighted man. Once he had reached the guards, they reported the man had evaded them and disapeared. But that second man was not Pang Tong.

Pang Tong couldn't believe as Xu Chu left the armory and ran off elsewhere. He then quickly reached the armory entrance and probed around, seeing nobody. "Thank you Heavens!" Prayed Pang Tong, while gasping heavily from his near-capture. He then presently went back to his tent.

Half hour later the entire camp was under full alert for the 4th consecutive night, and all reported back to Cao Cao as to the events of tonight. Cao Cao congratulated Xu Chu exceedingly for predicting who would the rebellious advisors attack this night gave him plenty of gifts in pearls and gold. Xu Chu refused it all on the grounds that they were in a campaign, and it was only the proper duty of any servant of the Prime Minister to combat rebellion and the murder of high officials anywhere. Xu Chu decided not to tell his Lord that he thought the man behind it was Pang Tong, as he wasn't certain he had seen him, and it could have been someone else. Cao Cao himself was rather distressed at the second intruder which was also lost, but regardless, the very next day he called his council and bade them "This last night, my friend Xu Chu has foiled a murder of our friend Askthepizzaguy. Furthermore, another person was found snooping around near the ATPG's tent where the assassination occurred. Now gentlemen, let us find who was behind the foiled attack.

Two people were spotted doing something. Pang Tong attacked Askthepizzaguy, and someone else was doing something around that area.

The Red Phoenix - Day 4

As the day came and the body of Cao Cao's advisors reconvened a second time, Death is Yonder's new found hope after escaping last night was bluntly terminated. In Short time notice, Sprig claimed forth and said he was one of the man spotted last night, and that he investigated Pang Tong, finding him trying to assassinate Askthepizzaguy. Cao Cao expression became obdurate after this revelation and eyed Pang Tong fiercely. One could notice he was doing his very best to not raise from his chair and cut off Pang Tong where he stood. In light of this new information, all the advisors nodded and quickly argued for the killing of Pang Tong. That done, Cao Cao ordered his advisors to take a break as there was little fighting and arguing in this day. The advisors went out and once they came in, there was a curious incident as both Faction Heir and Yaropolk claimed to being the hero Xu Chu, which has stopped Pang Tong's attack. This incident confused Cao Cao greatly, but later once the approppriate time had arrived, the veredict was thus given. "Guards, put Pang Tong to death and let us be done with it."The guards presently hussled Pang Tong out, and Pang Tong said little as he knew there was little chance for him in face of overwhelming council backing for his execution. Thus once outside the tent, the lictors beheaded Pang Tong and showed his head round the camp.

https://i642.photobucket.com/albums/uu150/Joltie/671-Pang-Tong.jpg
Pang Tong, Guest Advisor of the Han Army, has been executed

As of then, Zhou Yu's plan had utterly failed, now Wu's fleet could no longer easily attack Cao Cao's fleet with fire and the ships would be unchained, and an attack of Cao Cao would be quite possibly victorious. Still, a great many advisors had been lost so far, and many of them could aid Cao Cao with great strategies to defeat Sun Quan. Without their aid, Cao Cao himself grew undecisive.
Soon enough, Cao Cao dismissed the advisors and each men went to their daily duty until night came once again. Could it be that the menace had gone or the threat still loomed threatening Cao Cao's close advisors. As Cao Cao layed down to sleep, he gulped with difficulty. At the very least, he knew he was safe since he had the entire Tiger Guards Corps, the best soldiers of the best soldiers, protecting him.

The Red Phoenix - Night 5

As the moon won over the sun in orderly fashion and took its place in the Heavens, the advisors retreated to their tents and began resting from their stressful day (And previous night too!), someone was still very active. As soon as night fell, two men left their tents quietly and, avoiding the usual patrols, met in the vincinity of Faction Heir's tent. Knowing full well the problem Faction Heir might be, they had joined forces to take on what they predicted would be a great problem towards their plans. After debating briefly what they would do to overcome the guards, the most clever of both quickly made a suggestion "Let us do so and so." his companion nodded profoundedly and both set out. They approached both guards posted at the entrance of the tent simultaneously and quickly grabbed them and cut their throats in similar fashion, thus the immediate problem of raising an alarm and getting to Faction Heir had been overcome.
Both entered quietly into the tent and it appeared that Xu Chu lay asleep in his bed, covered by a wool blanket and furthermore he snored louder than dogs barked. The companions could only grin to each other. Fortunately, Xu Chu had not set out to protect someone else this night. As they made their way to stab FactionHeir, they were shocked to see him jump from his bed quickly, fully clad in armor and carrying a trusty sword already in hand. He laughed and said "So you expected to catch me off-guard? However clever you lot might be, you will never outsmart me!" The sentence said, he quickly called for his trusty guards, which came not as they were dead. Undeterred, as he knew he was handling people unskilled in combat he jumped towards them with the intention of striking them down. The original attackers however, became horrified at the terrible sight, and were put to flight but not before Xu Chu managed to grab one of them by the cloak and partially stroke his helm removing it. His companion found the courage to help his trapped fellow and proceeded to try and chop off Faction Heir's hand which held tight to one of the attacker's cloak. While he stroke not the hand, he managed to cut off the cloak so that the trapped attacker ripped the rest of through sheer force in trying to free himself. Faction Heir persued them out of his tent, which was when both men split off in different directions. Faction Heir stopped to think on who to persue, but those few seconds proved to be too many as once he had decided on who to persue, both his attackers were already too far away and vanished into the depth of the courtyards.

Soon Xu Chu set about to fix what just happened without creating much of the ruckus of the previous nights. He called soldiers on patrol to bury his guards, sent for some of the Tiger Guards to guard his tent, and summonned a courrier to quietly give the news to Cao Cao.

A new day being born, the advisors were summonned once again to Cao Cao's tent, where they were briefed on what had happened. The majority showed signs of shock, as most had expected the mutiny to be over, as they had had a quiet evening and good nice rest. They were even more shocked to see the attack perpretrated against Faction Heir had been committed by two men. Cao Cao at once called his advisors to find out the culprits and expose them for the rebellious rats that they were.

Sounds fair, though from the write-up it seems clear to me, that two people attacked him. I can't really see any concieveable way that he is a mafia though.

I will make clear that I got no result from my investigation since it was foiled by the assassination attempt. But if he was mafia, He would have to be seperate from those that attacked him and also would make the mafia to innocent ratio rather unbalanced...

The Red Phoenix - Day 5

Once again, there was little discussion as a member of the council stepped forward with relevant information of the previous night. This time it was Faction Heir, none other than the same man attacked the night before. He came forward and accused the young prodigy Sprig, who had previously and accused and successfully convinced the council of the dubious intentions of Xun Yu and Pang Tong.

Faction Heir said that in the battle last night, he had managed to remove Sima Yi's helmet, therefore revealing his face. The council quickly nodded and accepted the attacked man's accusation. Sima Yi was quickly pushed into the same position as he had pushed Pang Tong into, last day. Yet he tried to convince the council of his innocence, relating his previous deeds, so quickly forgotten by the council, besides accusing Yaropolk and pretending to be Xu Chu. Regardless, he was unable to move the obdurate council, who firmly stood behind the attacked man's acusation. Seeing the Council had reached a decision, Cao Cao could only sigh. "It had been my personal decision to bring you into this expedition Sima Yi, and I thought you were one to be fully loyal towards lofty ideals. Alas, you decided to act against us all and tried to take the life of great Faction Heir. But you have been exposed, and regardless of your talent you must die a rebel's death."
With that, Cao Cao nodded to his guards, who grabbed and brought Sima Yi outside where he was beheaded and his head paraded around the camp.

http://www.kongming.net/11/i/p/port_lg/641-Sima-Zhao.jpg
Sima Yi, Junior Military Advisor of the Han Army, has been executed.

After the council had been dismissed, Surpreme Naval Admiral Yu Jin came to talk to Cao Cao at noon. After being granted an audience and salutions exchanged, Cao Cao pressed quickly into the matter "I am currently busy Yu Jin. What do you want to discuss?" Yu Jin nodded and said "My Lord Cao, I am pleased to inform you that the navy is relatively well trained. We can attack per your command, Prime Minister."
This was the best news for Cao Cao in several weeks now. Smiling, he nodded towards his General and replied "Good, good. We shall not attack just yet. We still have some unfinished business to attend to before we can strike with all confidence." Yu Jin could only deduce that the business was related to the numerous executions of high profile advisors ever since the mutinous documents had spread around the camp. Sensing that this was some sort of purge, or that Sun Quan's men had infiltrated Cao Cao's ranks, Yu Jin did not press the matter further, but only nodded in compliance. "Very well Prime Minister. That was all needed to report to you." Cao Cao nodded with a dismissive hand "Very well General Yu. You may return to your duties." Yu Jin nodded only once before he left the Cao Cao's tent.

Night had come once again. Everyone knew there was still at least one killer loose in the inner courtyards. But who could he be? Cao Cao had decided he would not attack Sun Quan before the council had dealt with this problem once and for all.

Not really, but Sima Yi fits (I got his name in my results PM), according to wikipedia - though he betrayed them quite a bit later on, way after Cao Cao's death, which makes this particular set up interesting.

From what I recall, Sima Yi was a Machiavellian adviser to Cao Cao, who eventually usurped the throne. However he didn't do that until after Cao Cao's death. Historically he didn't have an accomplice. If I had to fit someone into that role, it would be one of Cao Cao's relatives - maybe Cao Pi, Cao Ren, or Cao Fang ?

Ok so to put the history of the battle or red cliffs in lamens terms:

3 factions:

Wei (led by Cao Cao)
Shu (led by Liu Bei)
Wu (led by Sun Quan)

4 sentence battle summary:

Cao Cao sails a superior force to attack an alliance of Liu Bei and Sun Quan. Liu Bei's adviser Zhuge Liang predicts that there will be a wind storm on the day of the battle and the allies decide to take advantage of it. Before the battle, Sun Quan's strategist Pang Tong pretends to defect to Cao Cao. The night before the planned battle, Cao Cao's men are seasick so he ties together all his ships to prevent rocking on Pang Tong's advice. During the night, Sun Quan's field commander Zhou Yu sends his leutenant Huang Gai to fake a surrender. Huang Gai sails his ships which have been secretly loaded with incendiary devices for Cao Cao's chained armada. When he is allowed to approach, he sets his ships alight and crashes into Cao Cao's armada. Fanned by the wind storm, the fire incinirates half the troops and Huang Gai brings down a general ass whooping on the Wei army. Cao Cao's army turns tail and runs, pursued by allied troops. Commander Cao Ren stays behind and holds back the pursuers allowing the rest of Cao Cao's army to escape.

Major known players:

Cao Cao's WEI army:
-- Sima Yi, main adviser
-- Cao Ren, minor commander who saved the day

Sun Quan's WU army:
-- Zhou Yu, field commander for the allied forces
-- Pang Tong, faked defection, chained ships together
-- Huang Gai, faked defection, started ship fire

Liu Bei's SHU army:
-- Zhuge Liang, main adviser, predicted a wind storm on the night of the attacks, led his division to steal Wei's arrow supplies the night before the battle
-- Guan Yu, bearded brawler who kicks ass and takes names

People executed so far:

Centurion1 - Mao Jie - WEI, minor character, loyalty never in doubt.
Yaseikhaan - Xu Shu - SHU - minor advisor who crossed sides from Shu to Wei, at battle of Red Cliff he saw through Pang Tong's charade, but decided to switch sides to Shu rather than alert Cao Cao
Paulus Tertius - Xun Yu - WEI, minor advisor opposed Cao Cao's power moves historically, could be traitor power role
Death is Yonder - Pang Tong - WU (nicknamed Young Phoenix, so probably main Mafioso of this game) - major advisor for Wu, pretended to defect to Cao Cao before Red Cliffs
Sprig - Sima Yi - WEI - Cao Cao's Machiovellian adviser. Eventually usurped the power for his own descendants.

Assassinated (2):
Diana Abnoba - Xiahou Dun - Major general under Cao Cao, loyalty never in doubt, possibly a power role.
atheotes - Jia Xu - Cao Cao's advisor, loyalty never in doubt

Alive:
Faction Heir - Xu Chu - Cao Cao's body guard, very strong, but simple minded, loyalty never in doubt

I am convinced that Huang Gai would have to be the other man sent by Sun Quan. The only thing that has me concerned is that last round Sima Yi was cooperating with a second man. Historically Sima Yi did not colalborate with foreign forces. This makes me wonder if this is just some power role condition that emerged during the game or if I'm missing something.

For any investigators out there, here is a nice summary of characters by faction in case you aren't sure who you are investigating:

Thank you so much, this helps a lot!!!

What mischief did Pang Tong get up too, that I did not foresee... Alas for Tsao Tsao his poor advisor is dead.

How come DiY is alive and dead?

How come DiY is alive and dead?

Just a mistake, it has been like that for several writeups now.

How come DiY is alive and dead?

Nicely noted. <_<' That's what I get for partially copy-pasta previous days.

Night 6 is over. Standby for execution.

Sorry guys, something unforseen came up yesterday, and I spent the entire day away and I only came back at dawn.

Anyways, the resuming what happened:

The Red Phoenix - Night 6

Someone stays awake at night and goes to attack Faction Heir, who defends himself yet again and chases the attacker away.

Next day the advisors reconvene yet again to try and find out the culprit.

Day 6 votes are due in 3 PM GMT / 10 AM EST, 3rd of December.

Well at least only one attacker now - FH, any clues in your writeup?

Nope, not this time, or Jolt forgot.

After going back through and reading the posts my FOS points to Beskar and to Subotan

Here's a quick analysis of the alive people:

Subotan has had exactly 0 posts since getting his role, and yet he hasn't been WoG'd, so he's doing something to stay active.

On the day that we voted off Khaan, Beskar jumped on atheotes when Khaan was in danger, quickly followed by Sprig (Sima Yi).

What's worse is that ATPG's analysis agrees with me. If this is right and he figured this out 3 nights ago I'll be mightly impressed.

ATPG post has nice outline of that day's votes:
https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=2378509&postcount=112

Beskar has claimed the role of Man Chong (Boning) in one of his earlier posts. Man Chong is a minor Wei side general. However his name was mentioned right in the Red Cliffs wiki article, so it's quite possible he just pulled a minor character from there figuring nobody else will have him.

ATPG and Joooray have both been active and were the first 2 to vote for Khaan. They're likely innocent.

FactionHeir - confirmed pro town power role.

Yaropolk - active but nothing to prove he's innocent. I'd be willing to post my role PM if it comes down to it. I would rank myself third on suspect list after Subotan / Beskar.

After going through that I'm going to vote: Beskar with Subotan being lynchbait for tomorrow.

Yaropolk
12-02-2009, 19:50
Actually, changed my mind on the priority of lynches - on the Khaan lynch, Beskar did have a chance to save Khaan by throwing his vote over to Jooray, especially since he would've known Atheotes still had a vote left and would try to save himself.

Subotan today,
Beskar tomorrow

unvote: Beskar vote: Subotan

Joooray

Although it also impacts the clues about my own innocence I would recommend that we consider that there might be two independent mafia groups in this game, with one of them emerging when the other is weakened or destroyed. After all the write-up after Sprigs execution does not say anything about a connection to our enemies army but only that he has to die the death of a rebel. That means the voting behavior when we went against khaan might not be the best indicator.
Or am I missing something here.

Apart from that I find your arguments to be sufficient enough to Vote: Subotan. Especially the not being WoGed part is quite damning.

I think at least 3 of the alive are innocent + myself - Beskar, AVSM and possibly Yaropolk.

This leaves on the suspicious list:
Subotan
ATPG
Joooray

I'm not too certain on Subotan's guilt, seeing how he's very much inactive - afterall Jolt threatened me with WoG even though I have a role too...

So if we were to ignore Subotan for now, I would say its either ATPG or Joooray. Joooray claimed absence over the weekend when I was attacked first, so it may clear him unless he lied about that.

So currently my main suspect is ATPG (in particular because he seemed to have some background cooperation with Sprig), though I would like Jolt's commentary regarding Subotan's continued survival first.

I obtained this list via checking the voting rounds regarding Sprig.

P.S.: I think the previous day's vote was rather light (3 votes total) so that doesn't contribute much. Still, I imagine Sprig's partner in crime would not hesitate voting for him considering that they know analysis would be performed, which is why it doesn't clear anyone.

Trust me, I wouldn't have picked :daisy:-man as a character.

I just checked the rules, and it only says I can't reveal in private, but I can reveal publicly. Since I will be honest, I haven't paid much attention to the game due to the confusing round end times and the fact I didn't have night actions, I was mainly inactive. I will just post my role pm, most likely get me night killed, but it would be better than an active townie/power-role dying.

Greetings, Beskar!

Congratulations! You are General Who Is Mighty Man Chong

Man Chong, General Who Is Mighty

A talented advisor and general, you had been recommended to Cao Cao by Liu Ye. You showed your worth when you brought over Xu Huang, which has been tremendously helpful in Cao Cao's drive to success. Your worthiness doesn't exhaust there, as you have also done service spying in the campaign against Cao Cao and you have frequently been called to advise the Prime Minister on military matters. These rumors have been quite strange, and you are unsure what to make of them. Phreaps listening closely to what the other advisors say might give you an idea if someone did indeed write the protesting papers or not.

((You are a regular townie))

Victory Conditions: Kill every mafioso to win.

Have fun! :P
