Day 6

Now there were but a few left in the Koopa Troop. From an army that had started with thousands of Koopas, Goombas, Shy Guys, Piranha Plants, and every other kind of minion that worked for Bowser, they had now dwindled down to a number that couldn’t have been more than two hundred. The initial assault by Mario and his allies; the massacre that occurred just before Samus was defeated; the second mass slaughter by Yoshi, when he was caught; even the loosed Chain Chomp had done significant damage to the Troop.

And it was not only the grunts who had taken losses- each night the intruders had been targeting the lesser commanders of the Koopa Troop, and taking them out, one by one. Including Bowser himself, there were now only eleven minions of significant rank. Bowser himself was still in disguise, but everyone else had a good idea of who he was masquerading as.

Due to this fact, Bowser now entered the chamber on the ground floor when he was ready to read the votes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSPnPlyyCC0), as he would have looked just a little silly up on the balcony with only a fraction of his original Troop on the floor.

“General Guy! The Koopa Troop suspects you to be one of our intruders… what do you have to say for yourself?”

General Guy, who was significantly smaller than most of the other minions, stepped proudly up to Bowser. He was not about to be killed for no reason.

“Sir! I deny all charges laid against me, sir! I am innocent, sir! My Shy Guys and I have served you faithfully, sir! I refuse to be executed. Sir.”

Upon hearing this, Bowser gave a great booming laugh.

“GWAHAHAHAR! Do you really think I care how loyal you claim to be? You’re not even the real General Guy! You’re a disguised intruder!”

“Sir! That is not true, sir!”

“Well, then, I suppose I’ll have to make you prove it, then. Let’s see what’s under that mask of yours… don’t be SHY, now. Bwahaha!”

Bowser grabbed General Guy with one hand and tore off his mask with the other. He had no way of telling what was under a Shy Guy’s mask, but nonetheless he was caught off-guard with what he found. A huge nose and a large, bushy mustache lie underneath it. Before the Koopa King could react, however, a fist shot out of the General Guy costume, hitting him square in the face and causing him to drop the impostor. Throwing off his torn disguise, the intruder revealed himself (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZibJLnkgJo) to the Troop.

“Hehehe… so, tell me, Koopas… you think you can take me? Come on, give it a shot. All of you at once versus the Green Thunder. I bet you’re all quaking in your boots!”

Mr. L shot his arms out to his sides. Out of the right hand spewed an inferno of green flames, while chain lightning crackled and shot from the left. The Koopa Troop was so dispersed that it only hit a few minions, but it killed all those that it did instantly. Mr. L then began an acrobatic assault, leaping high off of various underlings’ heads and tossing fireballs while in the air. His fighting was both elegant and deadly, and the Green Thunder made it all look easy.

“GRRAAAAAWR! It’s Mario’s stupid green brother! Kill him!”

Bowser rushed up to Mr. L and began throwing punches, but Mr. L was just a bit too fast. Every time Bowser took a swing, the green warrior would jump on his fist and sail through the air over him. This was frustrating for the Koopa King, but he had luck (and help) on his side.

“Blast the stupid plumber already!”

Larry Koopa began shooting magical attacks at Mr. L as he dueled with his father. Although very fast, Mr. L began finding it difficult to dodge both Bowser’s attacks and Larry’s at the same time. A magic blast came very near to hitting him; he managed to move just in time, but also ran right into Bowser’s fist. Mr. L was knocked to the ground, where Bowser proceeded to shower him in an intense bath of flames. Burned and defeated, Mr. L spoke again.

“Well, it looks like you got me… you put up a good fight, and you won the wager... although I can’t say Dimentio will be pleased.”

“Bwahahar! I’m gonna kick you into next week, Luigi!”

“Luigi? Why do people keep calling me that? I don’t understand…”

“Gwahahar! This idiot doesn’t even know who he is! Get a clue already, you’re Luigi, Mario’s brother. Second-best, that’s who you are. You never stood a chance!”

At that point, an old, forgotten synapse (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/131358) connected inside the plumber’s brainwashed mind.

“Mario’s brother… me? Of course… it’s-a returning… I’m-a Luigi! I’m-a Super Luigi!”

Bowser exhaled flames again, but surprisingly, Luigi summoned the strength to roll out of the way. Weakened, he began running and jumping towards the exit of the room.

“Stop him! Don’t let him leave!”

But it was too late. Luigi jumped out the window, seemingly falling some four or five stories to the base of the castle. The Koopa Troop didn’t know how to feel- disappointed that they had missed their mark, or relieved to know he was gone.

Well, I know who the majority of the games characters are, but the rules forbid me. If you looked at the public write-up where I discovered Samus, my character came under-attack which failed for them, but secretly won for me and it gave me access to an archive of information, including the identities of Dimentio, Fawful, and the henchmen, etc.

Unfortunately, no one will actually get to know this info and the town can't use it to stop them, due to the lack of support I recieved and no protection. (Namely, the No.1 reason I can't reveal when dead)

“Hey, everyone! Thanks again for tuning in to catch the Lakitu Bros. Nightly Report! Guess what? Tonight, for the first time since the very first night of the assault on the castle, we won’t be down in that smelly dungeon bothering Peach again. Of course, that makes me wonder what could possibly be going on down there tonight!”

The view from the camera did indeed show a scene remarkably different this time. In fact, it looked like this area of the castle had completely frozen over… or maybe it was normally kept that way. Whatever the case, the place looked like it had been through a blizzard (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3E_7bXONu4Y).

“Brr… it sure is cold here, off in the northern-most tower. If I’m not careful my cloud will condense. Anyway, right now we’re here to see Captain Blackadder, and check up on him.”

The Lakitu approached a door that looked as if it was frozen shut. At first, it didn’t open, but after a few minutes of cloud-ramming and Spiny-tossing, it creaked open. Inside was a frigid figure.

“There he is: the Crystal King, whom most of you know as Captain Blackadder. He sure looks… sinister.”

It was true. The Crystal King was calmly standing in place, and doing nothing else. The look on his face- or rather, his eyes, as his face was invisible- was mysterious, and very evil.

“Well… then again, maybe that’s what he usually looks like anyway. Bowser certainly does a good job hiring his minions; this one is pure evil! Alright, he doesn’t seem to be doing anything important, let’s get out of here before I get frozen stuck to my cloud!”

The following morning, a full roll call was done, and not a single Koopa was reported missing from the Troop. Everyone who went to sleep cautiously last night was found alive and well. Bowser was in a good mood- until he got the report from the dungeons, that is.

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE PRINCESS HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED!?!?”

Bowser was now back to his perpetual grumpiness. He would continue to scream at what remained of the Koopa Troop for at least 20 minutes longer.

“I’M the only one who gets to kidnap the Princess around here! Now we don’t know where she is… either that stupid plan-stealing Dimentio got her, or plumber #1 has decided to rescue her. I bet if we can kill them, we get the Princess back as well. Now get voting!”

Bowser stormed out of the room, went to his chambers, and locked the doors. His temper tantrum could be heard throughout the whole castle.

Day 7

There had been a lot of argument (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_-Ea7D9O30) throughout the day. It appeared for a while that the Koopa Troop would not be able to decide on a new suspect. But by the end, they had found a clear verdict. It was sundown, and Bowser was about to read the votes.

A look of shock and fear shot across the Hammer Bro’s face. He had clearly not expected to be chosen.

“King Bowser… you know how loyal I am to you! I would never betray you! Please, don’t do this. Who will command your most trusted troops if I am gone?”

“Bwahahahar! That’s pretty convincing, even for you, Mario! We already know that you’re not really a Hammer Bro. Think about it- it’s the perfect disguise for you! You didn’t even have to steal a Hammer!”

“Please… don’t-a do this!”

As soon as the words slipped from the Hammer Bro’s mouth, he gasped and covered it. It appeared he had misspoken.

“What was that, now?”

“Err… don’t… don’t… don’t-a-”

“GWAHAHAHAR! Was that an Italian accent I just heard, there? That clinches it, you’re Mario all right. Minions! Get him!”

As the minions began rushing the Hammer Bro, he pulled off his disguise. All he removed was a face mask, however- he left the shell and helmet (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xh7amozD8SE) on. Getting ready to fight, Mario pulled out a few hammers.

The minions began swarming Mario, but it appeared they would have no luck. Mario was jumping, kicking shells, and throwing hammers left and right. The force of his hammer blows were enough to crack a Koopa shell; he squished Goombas effortlessly. By the time Bowser realized that the old minion-swarm tactic wasn’t going to work, Mario had already hopped off enough of them in a row to get himself a 1-UP.

Frustrated, Bowser charged into the fray and slashed Mario with his razor claws. The plumber’s Hammer costume disappeared and he stumbled; the minions retreated as Bowser unleashed a jet of deadly flames. Bowser was going to use the same tactic that had worked so well on Luigi. By the time Bowser was done, Mario had a nice black crust on him.

“GWAHAHAR! I did it! I finally beat- GRARGH!”

Mario (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4l1n69jTArI) had sprung up from the ground and nailed Bowser with a powerful uppercut. Apparently, everyone had forgotten about the 1-UP very quickly. The portly plumber quickly followed up with a flurry of punches, culminating in him grabbing the stunned Bowser’s tail, swinging him around, and flinging him into the air.

Bowser carried so much force with him that he went straight through the stone walls and out of the room. With the Koopa King temporarily delayed, Mario turned his attention back to the terrorized Koopa Troop. He began once again to use every means at his disposal to get rid of them.

It didn’t take long for Bowser to return, however. And he brought with him the Plot Device Star. Laughing maniacally, Bowser used the precious object’s power to augment his own significantly.

“Mama Mia…”

Now it was Giga Bowser who began to chase Mario around the room. Mario was nimble, but with Giga Bowser being half the size of the room itself, it was difficult for him to avoid the massive claw and flame attacks that were launched at him.

But Mario wasn’t going to give up yet. He pulled out of his pocket a secret weapon: the Fire Flower.

A fiery spark glowed in Mario’s eyes. Performing a super-human jump into the air, he delivered a devastating fiery punch straight to Giga Bowser’s face. Surprisingly, the force of the blow was actually enough to damage the gargantuan beast, and he jumped back in pain.

“Let’s-a go!”

Mario now used his inferno technique- the same one he had killed Fawful with only a few nights before. This time, though, strengthened by the Fire Flower, the inferno was enormous and engulfed nearly the whole room. If Bowser thought he had burned Mario badly before, he now got a taste of his own medicine.

As he dropped to the ground, the deadly plumber pulled out his signature hammer- the really big one, that is.

Using the Fire Flower in conjunction with it, he began smashing up the already-stunned Giga Bowser with a series of flaming hammer attacks. Each blow left something akin to a brand-mark on the massive spiked shell due to the hammer being white-hot. Even with the Plot Device Star’s power, Bowser appeared to be fighting a losing battle once again…

And then, all of a sudden, Mario was frozen in ice. The Crystal King and Larry Koopa had each used their magic to blast Mario from behind. Taking advantage of the situation, Giga Bowser broke the ice and snatched Mario up in his claw. He squeezed the plumber with his sharp nails- he could have crushed him in the palm of his hand right there.

But instead, Bowser decided on a different method. Raising Mario high above his head, dangling him by the straps of his overalls, Giga Bowser opened his mouth wide. Then he dropped the plumber directly into his mouth, chomping down after he had fallen in. After swallowing, Bowser returned to his normal size.

Bowser glanced around at the fifty or so living members of the Koopa Troop around him, satisfied.

“Gwahahar! Now I’m in the mood for pasta! Half of you, go cook me some dinner- that Mario may have put on a few pounds, but it was nowhere near enough to satisfy me. As for the rest of you- go find the Princess, now, and don’t return until you do!”

“Here we go again! I hope you’re all excited for the Lakitu Bros. Nightly Report!”

From the view of the camera, the Lakitu appeared to be in the upper halls of the castle (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFnuHleqZUA) this time. At the end of the long hallway was a winding staircase. As the Lakitu approached the stairs, he panned upwards, and it could be seen that they went a long way up.

“I’m glad that you’re all continuing to watch us as this exciting conflict runs down to the wire. As the number of Koopas in the Troop continues to decline, we’re beginning to focus more and more on who that final killer, Dimentio, could be. Tonight, we’ll be investigating the one known as Captain C, who supposedly makes him home at the top of this tall tower.”

The Lakitu began to move up the staircase, silently, as his cloud carried him easily over the steps. Even at this fast pace, it took him a minute or two to make it all the way to the top. Once there, he faced an impractically large steel door.

“Uh-oh… this could be difficult to get past. Well, no harm in trying, I suppose.”

When the Lakitu tried the doorknob, it was, surprisingly, unlocked. It still took the little critter a lot of effort to push the heavy door open, but eventually it was open just wide enough for him to squeeze through.

The room inside was small and circular, but ornately decorated, much like Bowser’s own room. In the center was a bed that took up about a third of the chamber’s floor-space. Under its covers slept a comparatively small Koopa. As the Lakitu hovered over the creature, his face was revealed by the camera:

“That’s right, it appears that Captain C is the last living son of Bowser, Larry Koopa- just as he claimed. He’s sleeping so peacefully, too. How… err… cute, I guess. Well, we shouldn’t disturb his slumber any longer. Wouldn’t want to wake him up with all this reporting!”

The Lakitu quickly left the room, and proceeded to hover down the giant spiral staircase again, back to the main area of the castle.

In the morning, the Koopa Troop was once again surprised to find that nobody had died. Of course, there was still no doubt that Dimentio was out there, waiting to make his move. He had shown his face on more than one occasion before, and his dead body had not been found.

What also hadn’t been found was Princess Peach’s still living body. She had evidently hidden herself somewhere inside the castle, and was still planning an escape without the help of Mario. She might even be with them now, disguised in order to vote with the Troop.

I'd have thought that one of the Koopalings would have been crowned as King Koopa.

Larry Koopa

You are Larry Koopa, the seventh of the eight Koopalings, and one of the craftiest of them all.

Before that stupid Jr. came around, you were one of Bowser’s favorites, along with your oldest brother, Ludwig. Bowser even let you guard the last castle in the Valley of Bowser back when you invaded Yoshi’s Island. Nevertheless, you are still fiercely loyal to your father and are always trying to prove to him just how bad you are. You’ve also taken up tennis as a hobby, and you seem to be quite proficient at it… especially when using fire balls instead of tennis balls!

Your alignment is Koopa. (Town)

Victory Conditions:

Major- Defeat all of the intruders to the castle and keep Bowser from being killed by them as well. Additionally, keep the Plot Device Star in the hands of the Koopa Troop where it belongs.

Minor- If Bowser dies, all is not lost. If you can drive off all of the intruders from the castle, then perhaps the Koopa Troop will survive.

Abilities: (This section is new, updated due to cirumstances of the game)

Second-in-Command- Since both Bowser Jr. and Ludwig are dead, you are Bowser's new favorite, and therefore second-in-command of the Koopa Troop. If Bowser dies, you will be able to preserve the Major victory condition by stepping up publicly and taking command of the Troop the turn after the Koopa King's death. Unlike Bowser, however, you will not have protection, so this is a gamble- you will certainly be targeted by Mario and the other intruders.

The Koopa Troop (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEpg377_5Zc) gathered in the Assembly Chamber once more. Now there were only a handful of them left, perhaps 50 at the most. Still, for the most part they were confident: all of their enemies, save one, had been taken care of. And in their voting, they seemed confident that they would be catching that last intruder today.

There were but eight notable members of the Troop who made these votes. Of course, there was Bowser and his two bodyguards, Boom Boom and Goomboss.

There were also three unremarkable Koopa Troop members who were given votes. Hal represented the Koopa division as a whole, while Jeff was his counterpart in the Goomba regiment.

Finally, rounding out the group was the calm and collected Crystal King, who was probably the most powerful being in the room- besides Bowser, of course.

It was the Crystal King that the Troop had cast its vote for. Those robes, they argued, were the perfect place to hide a sadistic little jester. After the votes were read, Bowser began to taunt him.

“Well, it appears this is it, my frigid friend! Gwahahahar! Once I destroy that ridiculous disguise of yours, Dimentio, I will have victory! Both of the Mario brothers have been defeated by me… do you really think you stand a chance?”

“King Bowser, I’ve no idea what you speak of. You do this unjustly, as I am your ally and your devout servant.”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever! That’s what the last two guys said, and look who they turned out to be! Let’s get this over with quickly!”

Bowser blasted the Crystal King with flames. The Crystal King quickly flew out of the way burning, but not hurting, it seemed. He shimmered for a moment, and then after a flash, a familiar face (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vo8DN3yBeM) was floating where the King’s disembodied eyes should have been.

“Well, well. It does appear you’ve found me out, Bowser. I feel I must applaud you for your spectacular display of dumb luck! You must be SO proud of yourself. You’re like a dirty little kid at the doctor’s, who sees only the shiny lollipop and is taken completely by surprise when they give him the shot! Ahahahahahaha!”

“Shut up, you circus freak! I’m gonna pound you into dust, and then I’ll fule the world! You can’t stop me!”

Dimentio began firing dark magic bursts in all directions, terrorizing the Koopa Troop. Whenever Bowser got too close to him, he would just use his dimensional mastery to warp out of the way. He appeared to completely in control of the battle (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bKC1ips1sc).

Hal and Jeff used the chaos to sprint out of that room as fast as they possibly could. They didn’t get paid enough to risk their lives fighting a mad joker.

“You think you don’t get paid enough, Jeff? I don’t get paid at all!”

“That’s your problem. Now keep running.”

“No objections there!”

Goomboss and Boom Boom were both paralyzed with fear, and the Lakitu Bro was too concerned with his camera angle to bother tossing any spinies. In effect, the only one helping Bowser was Larry, and that was just through magic wand support.

But Larry’s wand blasts were far too slow for Dimentio to be hit. In a matter of minutes, Bowser was on the verge of throwing a tantrum, and the rest of the Koopa Troop was running around, screaming. Because of this, however, Dimentio began to get playful and reckless. He warped himself behind Bowser, kicked him in the head, and then warped away, laughing, as Bowser spun around in anger.

Next, he warped himself in front of Larry, and grabbed the Koopa kid. As he tossed Larry away, he jeered at Bowser.

“Wow, what a formidable army you have, Bowser. It appears the only one helping the big cry baby is a little snot-nosed brat! Ahahahahaa!”

But this time, Dimentio lingered for too long, and before he knew it he had slash marks across his face from Bowser’s razor-sharp claws. Now wounded, Dimentio couldn’t move quickly even if he wanted to. He was soon struck by a blue magical blast.

Bowser approached the stunned Dimentio. With a forceful punch, he launched the jester into a stone wall. As he approached the now-crippled Dimentio, he was the one with the obligatory one-liner.

“Who gets the last laugh now?”

But just after the Koopa King stomped on Dimentio’s face, ending his game, he heard a reply from behind him.

“Me.”

“GWAHAHA-what? Who said that??”

“P-Peach?? Is that… you?”

“You’re going to regret ever kidnapping me, Bowser. I must thank you for destroying Dimentio, however. He had control over me before, but now I am free to kill you myself.”

As Peach moved her hand, a massive Shadow Hand appeared, which mimicked her actions. The hand tightened itself around Bowser and lifted him into the air. Then, as Peach flicked her wrist, Bowser was sent flying, high into air, eventually to smash into the ceiling.

Bowser groaned in pain and struggled to rise to his feet, as the Shadow Princess slowly approached him on the other side of the room. As he rose to his feet, Peach held out her hands, and shot dark lightning from her fingertips. She held Bowser in her electrocuting grip for an extended period of time. Any of the surviving Koopa Troop members had now fled in abject terror. It appeared Bowser would receive no assistance.

After Peach released the chain lightning, Bowser slumped to the ground, immobilized. The deadly Princess now walked up to him and, showing massive strength, lifted him into the air using only her dainty, gloved hand. As Peach squeezed tightly around the Koopa King’s neck, he could feel a chilling sensation. The touch of her ice-cold hands was beginning to freeze him solid! A smile cracked across her face, as she knew victory was near.

“Dad! Use this!”

Larry burst back into the room, carrying the Plot Device Star. Larry hurled the star straight towards Peach. Its own dark power collided with hers, and she was flung away from the slowly-freezing Bowser. As soon as the Koopa King grabbed the Plot Device Star, his energy was fully restored. He transformed once again into the formidable Giga Bowser (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/12306).

Now it was Bowser that held the advantage. Peach managed to hold back his crushing blows for a few seconds with an energy shield, but the shield shattered quickly, only able to withstand a few attacks.

Bowser sent Peach bouncing off the walls of the chamber through a series of rebound-strikes. Finally, he finished with a trusty inferno.

The last attack burned all of the evil energy out of Peach. Her dressed turned back to a bright pink color, and her personality was back to normal.

“Bowser! It’s not fair! Let me go now!”

“GWAHAHAHAR! What do you mean, let you go? We haven’t even had the wedding yet! BWAHAHAHAHAAAAA!”

There never was a Golden Banana. The key phrase to look for was that you "thought" it was the banana because it was shiny. The shiny thing was actually the Plot Device Star. If you got that... then you would have a minor victory right there, and you would have become a super-serial killer and gone on a rampage because you didn't get your banana. (An investigation on Bowser would have revealed that he had the "banana", so you could steal it. You would only be notified after the steal.)

In fact, if any mafia family managed to get the Plot Device Star, they would gain an extra night action per turn, as well as a guaranteed kill for whichever character that held it. Otherwise, the only "guaranteed" killers in the game (i.e., who could kill anyone) were Mario, Luigi, Dimentio, and Fawful. In the end, I think the town got really lucky with those last three lynches.

I will have the full role pm list, as well as a victory/defeat list up tomorrow, when I will have time and hopefully when the Org will be working correctly for me, so that I don't have to load pages in 10-minute long intervals.

The night I attacked Yoshi, I got his name (khaan) but he didnt get mine.


Tonight, you decided to attack and kill Yaseikhaan.

Unfortunately, you weren’t counting on the fact that khaan was Yoshi, and you were unable to defeat him. However, this does open up an interesting opportunity for you. You might be able to convince Yoshi and the rest of his friends to let you join them, if you so wish. Your victory conditions and theirs are not mutually exclusive, for the most part. Who knows, perhaps having Mario with you might make finding that Golden Banana a little easier.

Even if you decided later on that you didn’t want to work with them, you could leave them just as easily as well- provided you are prepared for them trying to kill you…

Whatever you decide, it is up to you. Yoshi does not know your identity, so you must contact him yourself if you wish to open up a communication.


I had the option to contact him and work with them. Obviously it would have made me more powerful.

khaan wasn't entirely convinced (i just copied my night results to him, rather than forge something, though I did exclude the part i had about being able to leave at any time and be able to kill them)

He said I'd have to prove my loyalty to get Mario's name. I sat back and waited for orders, got none, it went half a day phase, the night phase then a bit more of the day phase before i revealed khaan as yoshi.

The night I was investigated by Beefy, I was attempting to kill Sasaki (peach). Because I couldnt meant that I still showed up as the King.

I tend to agree with the non-usage of vigilantes in a game with an obvious amount of pro-town roles, at least at the start, due to the odds CDF described.

In case anyone was wondering: I was recruited into a cult, I was a pro-town role beforehand. I died really quickly afterward, and then Chaotix gave me a choice of which team I wanted to be on, and I chose the town side. But I knew Blackadder was a Dimentio, so I had to keep quiet about that. I may have been told once that AVSM was on his team, but I deleted all my PMs and I didn't speak to them for a long while, and I just plain forgot he was technically a former teammate.

Given that I couldn't really accuse the Dimentio team, and I couldn't reveal anything else I knew, and I was finally able to roleplay my character, I decided to do that. My objective was to have fun, talk nothing but nonsense, and cause chaos. I was sort of trapped between alignments because of the unusual circumstances, so I was rooting for either side to win. Unfortunately accusing AVSM, who I thought might have been a good candidate for being Mario, was a real bad idea. I apologized for the gaffe, and I said I'd stop posting in the thread just to be safe, but the damage was done.

Chaotix, like myself, thought there was practically no chance anyone would listen to me because I was still RP'ing as Dimentio's mindslave. So the results were entirely unintentional and made me feel extremely foolish and embarrassed. I thought after calling Bowser "Mario" for half the game, I would be considered an unreliable source of information... and although I was avoiding accusing Blackadder for this very reason, I didn't even have my notes anymore (recycle bin) and I forgot not to accuse AVSM too.

Don't feel bad for having compassion, it is usually a very good value to have. Although I must admit, when it comes to these mafia games, it has gotten me in trouble before also. It is one of my weaknesses, never wanting to lynch or kill a friend. But you must think it is only a game, and everyone is a candidate, including yourself, to all the other players (and they may not have any problem lynching/killing you) so you must get them before they get you. No one usually takes it personally (unless someone keeps voting the same player over and over again (meta-gaming)). You are a good player, and I for one enjoy playing with you. :2thumbsup:

See the final commentary- Despite my best efforts, I was stuck townie the whole game, and in the end, I "noosed" two mafioso as director. I like being mafia, but I go for the win. :yes: Sadly, town decided to off me for the sake of offing me. :juggle2:

Give me a danged vigilante role sometime. I think my CIA agent thing in Capo was the only time I've ever been a pseudo-vigilante. The advantage goes to the town side when you've got a guy who is always active, usually pays close attention to the thread, and has a knack for picking bad guy roles (even when he's also being a total idiot for picking a bad guy role he wasn't supposed to... :wall:) running around at night whacking suspects.

Oh I would love a good vigilante role. But I think after Capo I got that out of my system... my fingerprints were all over many of those vigilante team choices and most of the lynches too. It's crazy how much power people gave me in that game.

I'll be a crotchety old man one day, and I'll still be talking about that time I was a CIA agent and helped save the town. Only, by then, I will think it's real. :laugh4:

@YLC: No I had no idea that you or AVSM were mafia. You were kinda the odd man out, as was CB. Everyone else PM'd me their roles, which were all plausable. I noticed that the bosses were all cover roles or (dead) town power roles. Pretty much everyone but CC was a grunt, and that's what made me suspicious of him... so sorry about that CC.
