A bit dissapointed with the particapation. A Evening writeup should be coming soon.
Mortal Kombat
Evening 4
Now it was a fight between the victorious, all remaining contestants had fought and won a battle. This time though there would be no holding back. Kintaro once again choose the arena and selected the stadium and to fight in front of Shao Kahn’s throne. Shoa Kahn Sat there with a cruel smile and Bellowed out “Fight”
Kintaro jumped straight into the air and landed right on top of Jax, crushing him.

Kintaro put up his arms in victory but Jax surprisingly got up and yelled out “I am not done yet!” Jax slammed the ground with huge force that usually enough to knock down most persons. However Kintaro was no normal person and laughed as he shrugged off the attack.

Kintaro walked up to Jax and flailed away at him with his four arms. Jax tried to block but one arm slipped through and caught him in the chin sending him skywards.

Kintaro once again raised his fists in victory. He leaned back and let out a roar. During this Jax leapt to his feet and launched a powerful attack which actually lifted Kintaro off the ground.

He followed up by sending a blinding flash of energy into Kintaro which connected with the falling Kintaro.

Then it was Jax’s turn to be brutal. He lifted Kintaro off the ground “Gotcha” he cried and then proceeded to pound away at Kintaro’s face.

There was almost nothing left of Kintaro’s head but a bloody pulp. Jax dropped Kintaro to the ground and threw his hands up and celebrated the win.

Howerver Shoa Kahn Noticed something strange. He heard a familiar sound echo as a medallion slipped off Kintaro’s neck and bounced on the cobbled floor. Kahn left his sent and picked up the medallion. It was the same as the demon looking medallion that Scorpion carried.
The air seemed to exploded and the ground shook, a great big crack appeared in the ground which spew out hot larva. But that was not all, a demon started to crawl out of the hole. He seemed to be even bigger the Shao Kahn, and had everyone cowing in fear. The demon spoke “You may have stopped me this time but this realm will be mine!” Everyone seemed to tremble except Kahn, he had his own devilish smile on his face. He stood right in front of the deman and spoke surprising softly. “You have no power here demon, this is not your realm, it is mine!” And with those last words Kahn grabbed the demon by the head and crushed its skull. The demon exploded into locust which then flew away.
Kintaro was a Mark!
Jax Wins and received 225 Mana as battle spoils. Shao Kahn Receives also receives 225 Mana.
Kahn looked around at the remaining fighters. “Look at you cowing in fear, the only thing you should be afraid of is ME! And the one who should be most afraid is Reptile.”
Shao Kahn Vs Reptile will be the morning fight.

further note after looking at the teams i think khazzar and choxorn are marks. khazzar has been inactive sort of and is stockpiling mana. which is very very dangerous. as well choxorn basically follows yaro's lead scummy if anything.

NOW FIND THAT LAST MARK!!! Let's give Yaropolk the mana he needs to do an investigation, if he doesn't have it already. Have Yaro investigate Choxorn, because I'd rather he not die if he is innocent.
Hah, I say. The activity level here is low all around. I have fought and deafeated a mark to be sure, I also secured support unlike all marks so far. You should not forget that there is also the mission "last team standing". I highly doubt there is more than one mark left which means defeating the other teams becomes a high priority. But maybe you already knew that and are starting to look for potential allies. I tell you I´m willing to fight anyone who slanders my name.

Khazaar- both Choxorn and I helped you take out Baraka, but you have not returned our mana for 2 rounds now. It seems you and Baraka were on the same team. I am of the opinion now that there is indeed 1 mark per team (with the exception of Raiden's team), and I should have challenged you instead of CDF. If Choxorn and I have to pool together to take you out, so be it, but you're going down.

This is getting serious, I don´t mind beeing called Mafia or scum or whatever but i can´t abide beeing insulted because of Debts. I have told Sprig to transferr the leased Mana back as soon as he confirmed that I have enough to pay you back. I hate having debts and I am angry that I even asked for support. If you doubt my words I will step out of this game instantly!

Morning 5
The morning arrived and the contestants got ready for battle. Not that Kahn had to get ready for battle since he slept in his battle uniform. Sure the spike dug into the bed and made it incredibly uncomfortable but that is what makes him the mighty immortal man he is today. But it was all worth it for the chance to beat up a few ninja and take over the Earth Realm.
Lucky for him his opponent this round was a ninja. Reptile looked uncomfortable, nobody blamed him for he didn’t have the easiest of opponents. Kahn stood there glaring at Reptile “I’ll let you take the first shot” he declared. Reptile inched closer cautiously when Kahn say “Hurry up!” Reptile took a bigger step but Kahn’s speed surprised him and Kahn’s boot caught Reptile in his midriff.

Reptile flew backwards but quickly jumped to his feet. He jumped towards Kahn extending a kick out which Kahn easily blocked. Kahn counterattacked with a kick of his own but Reptile ducked under it and then launched an uppercut which connected with Kahn’s chin.

Reptile had little time to think. He quickly threw down a smoke bomb and turned himself invisible. Kahn got back to his feet with his eyes darting around looking for his target. Reptile saw his opportunity and spat out a glob of acid at Kahn.

Kahn easily blocked the expected attack and charged forward in the direction from where the acid came. Reptile shed his invisibility which surprised Kahn and allowed Reptile to connect with a sweetly timed Roundhouse Kick.

Kahn just stood up after the kick. He looked completely uninjured as he smiled an evil grin. “You will die” taunted Kahn. Before Reptile knew it, Kahn was breathing on him and clocked him with a strong left hand.

Reptile was dazed; the power of Kahn’s attack seemed to send electricity throughout his body. Reptile could hardly react, Kahn’s speed seemed to increase even more. The next thing he knew was that he was flying through the air once more.

Reptile’s body seemed to land with an air of finality about it. Reptile groaned, and tried to get up and slumped back down and was still. Kahn didn’t care if Reptile was still alive or not. He grabbed reptile by the leg and singing him into the air and then bringing him down into the ground with heavy crash. Kahn stood over the now extremely dead body of Reptile. “You weak pathetic fool” Kahn cried out loud.

Shao Kahn Wins and received 519 Mana as battle spoils. Jax also receives 519 Mana.

For the fifth time of the tournament the sun set which signalled the start of the next battle. Jax was visibly tired for this was his third fight, Jax raised up his fists in preparation, he still wanted to win. Shao Kahn looked at the combatants “Fight” he declared.
Raiden came literally flying at Jax and caught him off guard. Jax was not prepared for that speed.

The blow sent Jax backwards but before he had even touched the ground, Raiden was in the air preparing to launch an aerial assault.

The blow connected with Jax right in the chest and Jax was off his feet once more. Raiden landed softly and started to charge his fingers with electricity. He watched Jax pick himself up and then Raiden closed in for the final blow.

But Raiden had made the same mistake as the past two combatants that fought Jax. He got too close. Electrically charged fists or not, Jax grappled Raiden and slammed him into the ground. But Jax did not let go. He picked Raiden off the ground and slammed him into the ground a few more times.

Raiden tried the aerial route once more. He flipped over towards Jax getting ready to strike out with his leg. But Jax move in closing the gap which Raiden misjudged. It was a simple procedure for Jax to assist Raiden through the air and to allow Raiden to land comfortable as possible while placing his shoulder into the small of Raiden’s back.

When Raiden got up he was clutching his back in pain. He then teleported away to keep some distance between him and his opponent. Raiden released the energy that he had built up in his hands sent a lightning bolt at Jax which he narrowly avoided doing a Neo impersonation.

As stylish as it was it, it gave a chance for Raiden to teleport in close to release his final attack. He grabbed Jax and started to send electricity through his body.

Raiden kept it up and pumped more and more electricity into Jax, so much thatsmoke started to come out of Jax’s body as he was burnt alive from the inside. Eventually there was so much energy that Jax exploded into little hunks of flesh, bones and guts.

Raiden Wins and received 925 Mana as battle spoils.
Kahn Looked like pleased at the result. He looked around and saw Shang Tsung. He stood up and stood infront of him “Now I am Ready to fight you. There will be no getting out of it this time.”

no im not accusing you of not doing so. i was just wondering cause i usually say gotcha when i use that move. basically i knew i was going to lose hes like my worst nightmare. im weak against stealth.
im sorry cdf i just didnt have very much mana left to get all the things i needed.
i needed a resistance to lightning, and resistance to stealth as well as one other ability to guarantee victory.

Shang Tsung is probably just holding low punch for 3 days, charging up for the Kintaro morph fatality! When facing Shao Kahn is not the time to bring out the fancy fatality, you won't be able to use the flaming skulls all round long! They need the high punch button!

I´m pretty sure we can call this dead. I´m also pretty sure that the winner of the fight Shang Tsung vs Shao Khan will (in all likelyhood) be the overall winner. The amount of Mana that that individual will have will be sufficient to defeat the other contestants. I´d say we post our stats here and compare to choose our own winner...
And as for my team (Beskar namely) I´m sorry that I considered you a Mark, but my PM said something about a quicktopic and you were the leader of our squad. I thought it was odd that you never even tried to make contact, also I wanted to know if there is indeed one mark per team. So sorry about that, but I didn´t pull it out of the blue, so to say...

I got nothing about a quicktopic and I didn't see a reason for us to make contact yet, then suddenly at the beginning of the game, you started falsely accusing me, using Pizza as an excuse because he had ants in his pants over nothing.
I'll give sprig another day or two before declaring this dead, but I am getting sick of waiting.

Winner of choxorn v jh duel will have more mana than today's battle I think, so not all is spoken for.
I said I´m sorry, I really hope you don´t hold a grudge. I know that some of these games (and their results and outcomes) can irritate higly but after a day or two it´s out of the system.

Sprig if you ever come back why dont we finish this by PM. Only 3 battles left (me vs khazar), (jh vs choxorn), (winner vs winner) , and I think we could do it in a day.
Yeah, I figured it was you after Khazaar really did give us our money back. I was going to spend everything next round on stuff to fight you and the winner of the Yaro/Khazaar fight, and hopefully win.
For that matter, sprig, would the game have ended if john died in the next fight, or would I have had to go on and fight the last person alive?

my team would have won we just ran out of mana after like 5 consecutive fights.
well i of course regret nothing about you as my rival. we performed quite admirably. we need another strategy game though.
Here are my orders for the Shao Khan fight, you can compare them to your stats. I still think that the winner of that fight would have won thwe whole shabeng....

Absolute Resistance - (1200 Mana) - Gives yourself complete resistance to all Skills for one battle. (can be overruled by opponents abilities.)
Special powers: Control – Once during the game you may replace one of the fighters in a battle with one of your choice.
Note: For balance, any powerups for your character have a starting cost of 1200 Mana.
Ouch you hit me in all my weaknesses. Before CDF's fight I picked up Elemental attack and used +speed power up (Sprig mentioned the spark in my attack and me moving even faster)
For this fight I used spare throw which doubles my block damage.
If we count regular attack = 1 damage, attack against weakness = 2 damage, and attack against strength as 0.5 damage then it works out I believe:
Shang attacking Shao:
+ Jump Kick = 2
+Dodge = 1
+Divine = 0.5
+Stealth = 1
+Uppercut = 2
+Elemental = 2
Total = 8.5
Shao attacking Shang:
+Speed = 1
+Roundhouse Kick = 1
+Divine = 0.5
+Melee = 0.5
+Block = 4 (damage doubled using spare throw)
+Elemental=2
Total = 9.0
Looks like I would have won a very close fight due to use of Spare Throw, but you would win if you busted out a fireball (I am guessing that adds to your elemental damage)
Actually, I think Fireball added Elemental.

@khazaar - you abilities look strange, where is transformation and why 4 defenses?
@ choxorn - I expect next 2 fights would be around 1000 mana payouts so you can count on all attacks from both sides other than my 1200 mana invulnerability.

How I would have fought Mileena would have proabably depended on how much mana I had left- I'd want to save some to fight either Yaro or Khazaar, and like I said, I probably could have beat her easily anyway.

Also just re-read my powowers, I probably would have used invulnerability in last round rather than 3 attacks if I faced you since I know you are elemental and I'm weak against that.
It would have been a close battle because my stolen souls ability would have increased all my attacks by a little (0.1? who knows). I have a fourth resistance because I stole it from my last fight with my special ability, I just didn´t post them because I wouldn´t have used them agaist you. For completion (and e-penis) here they are:
Morph - (200 Mana) - Use stats from another character of your choice (except Shao Kahn and Kintaro) instead of your own.
Soul steal - (600 Mana) - Steals a positive stat from a defeated opponent.
Kintaro Morph - (800 Mana) - Use Kintaro’s Stats instead of your own.
Special power: Stolen Souls – For each person that you personally kill in battle will give you a bonus to attack.

I don't see how I could have won with my pitiful mana, I was trying to come up with a strategy to convince one of you somebody else was the mark and you should give me your mana so I could defeat them. I don't think any of you would have fallen for it.

Wow soul steal is a really powerful technique - cheap way to get powers, albeit sometimes you get defense stuff.
The problem is that you invest 600 Mana into something that might not be usefull (eg. you loosing the fight) and it´s not helping you win the fight. All in all I would have greatly preferrred your abilities. Morph is very risky, having the ability to double the strenght of an attack is much more useful...
No matter, we´re all working on speculation here so I´d say

Well, that's your fault for not voting anyone into battle. ~;)
Still, I do feel kind of bad- there were some fights that were really close and decided by tiebreakers, while both of my fights were massively in my favor, and my next fight probably would have been just as lopsided. Shao probably could have kicked my ass, though, and Shang would have had a chance.
What made it worse was that the other marks picked me...

There were two pairs of mark who were unaware of each other, each pair picked one combatant by pming Sprig.
