Has anyone ever seen this clown. (link removed...no sense advertising trash like him)
I am really not sure what to say...
How can ANYONE believe this stuff?! I have subscribed to his emailing list to see the types of stuff he sends out. I am not sure whether to classify it as amusing or sad.
Look at this latest email:

I need you to read this announcement NOW because I'm not sure how
long this is going to be available...

You see, not too long ago we found out that one of the combatives
instructors we had in our ***** network was not...um..."truthful"
about his background.

This guy is now even in hiding because he was "outed" by the
combatives community for being a fraud.

Problem is, we had just purchased rights to publish a new 2-Hour
DVD set with him as the featured expert and we spent a ton of
money on video editing and production in preparation for the big
launch.

===============================

In other words, WE GOT SCREWED!

===============================

We were left with a big box of DVD's sitting in storage but
couldn't sell them.

The worst part was that these DVD's are actually some of the best
I've seen...EVER!

They cover real "no-B.S" spec-ops combatives techniques for:

* Unarmed Combat
* Multiple Attackers
* Edged Weapon Defense
* Firearms Disarms
* Survival Mind Set

Because we could no longer sell them to the public, we offered
the whole box to our subscribers at a deep, deep discount.

It was complete chaos as everyone scrambled to get their hands on
this quality of training at such a ridiculous price!

In fact, every single one of the copies were GONE in a matter of
just a few days!

Well, ALMOST gone...

We received emails for WEEKS from people who had tried to order
the discounted 2-DVD set but all we had left was one small box
and I usually keep these for "gifts".

I mean, hey...nothing says "Merry Christmas" better than a couple
of DVD's on how to rip apart giant thugs, right? Ha!

Well, frankly, I'm tired of looking at the leftover box and my
mom already has an arsenal of "how to kill" DVD's.

Sooooo....if you missed the big sale we offered last time...

===============================

Here's your SECOND CHANCE!

===============================

Basically, I'm looking to let the rest of these DVD's go at the
same super cheap discount I did before.

First come...first served.

Here's a hidden page we put up that tells you all about what's
covered in these DVD's:

Url Removed <= Secret Sale Page

Couple of things:

1. Please do NOT share this website with ANYONE! Even the title
of the DVD's would piss off the true soldiers who make up this
spec-ops community and they didn't deserve this kind of false
representation.

2. We are NOT producing this DVD for the public! We can't put it
in magazines or offer it for ongoing sale because it's based on a
big fat lie. So this is your only chance to pick them up. When
these leftovers are gone, they're gone. (Sorry)

3. To get the discount, you'll see a special "Coupon Code" near
the order button. You MUST use this coupon code to get the
discount! Don't forget to do that, ok?

If you're like me and always looking for a sweet deal while
adding to your survival skills, then this is the bargain of the
century.

Go and watch my video message now and see what's in store for
you...

Url Removed <= Please DON'T Share!

My video message is waiting for you right now so I'll see you on
the next page.

Yours in survival,

Richard Weed

At first I thought "No one will ever fall for this BS." But then again, he does stay in business. The guy just preys on the ignorant, the weak-of-mind, and the desperate.
Heck, if he can get by with this dribble, I guess I should start "Vuk's Self-defense and Close Quarters Combat Association". :P I would probably be able to teach much better, much more practical things than him, but I would not have the noob appeal. When people hear that they will need to actually work hard and do not just have to watch a DVD, they would probably just walk away. :P

Why are you advertising it with this topic, if you object to it?

Advertising? Or how about warning. I was showing him to be a scammer! Anyway, I doubt anyone on this forum is stupid enough to fall for this garbage.

a completely inoffensive name

Well, the great thing is that unlike real Special Operation Forces, you don't have to do ANY work to achieve it! All you need to do is watch the magic DVDs and awaken your inner killer!
BTW, don't forget:

The British SAS is known for being one of the planet’s most spec ops military units...
You see, you can get more 'special forces' than other special forces. :P This guy claims that he was in the military, but I cannot see things like this coming from someone in the military.

You see, you should not punch because if you do not know how to you can hurt yourself. Instead of learning how to though, the answer is simply do not punch. Then in the next video, he talks about punching someone to the head! Am I the only one who sees the contradiction?

In his defence he does punch with the an open fist just like he said in the first video.
If it's effective I honestly don't know.

The thing, I would most likely never have even got near this guy or his links. I would have had no exposure to it at all. By placing it in the frontroom, I have now exposure to this guy and his wares along with the rest of the Total War population. And all it takes is simply one person to read and go "Mhm.. that doesn't sound too bad, I will try it out" bang, you just given that guy a sale.

Best way I would recommend it would be to take away any direct links and simply label it like "Mc Dojo's and their scams" and talk about the subject in the post. That way, even though I am not exposed to it with links and locations and their 'very appealing' prices, I am adequately warned away from such things.

I know you might think I sound a little silly, but some of these people actually rely on people "Getting the word out" about them, which you are indirectly doing (not intentionally). Plus there is the whole spiders and search engine things too which boosts potential visitors.

I'll take your advice. (though, I honestly think it is unnecessary...no sense taking chances.)
When my leg heals up I am going to start making video responses to every one of his videos to show why what he says is BS, and what would work instead. At least most shopping mall karate schools don't claim that they will make you this awesome street fighter and actually encourage you to pick fights like this guy does in some of his emails. He is just gonna get people hurt.
All this time I was wondering where the attitudes "I don't need to train to fight, I just fight by gut!" and "I did hard time, so I am invincible!" were coming from.
The best thing is all the contradictions.
(paraphrasing)
"You will never need to train in order to kill anyone!"
"We are also including whatever book on Bruce Lee's training secrets so you can learn to..."

"These brutal, dirty moves that not even elite spec ops soldiers know about!"
"Fighting secrets of counter-terrorism specialists and elite spec ops soldiers!"

etc, etc, etc.
How can anyone read through that and take it seriously. Here are some more winners:

A 3-inch "hidden-in-plain-sight" target that no one - not even elite spec ops soldiers - recognize as one of the most debilitating spots on the human body! (Yet the one simple move I'll show you on pages 29-30 is so easy to pull off that even a 6-year old little girl could leave an attacker in a bloody mess, screaming in pain! No joke...no hype!)

The "ripping technique" that's as easy as opening a bag of potato chips...but will make everyone watching turn their heads in shock (including your opponent's friends who may be thinking of jumping in to join the fight)! Pages 46-47

As if the ridiculous claims are not enough, he relies on under-handed scare-tactics to sell his BS.

If you’ve read this far looking for the cost –
you should really be asking yourself
a more important question…

How Much Money Would You Pay
To Answer The Cries Of Someone You Love
Who's Been Brutally Ripped Away From You
By A Sadistic Predator...

... As YOU Lay On The Ground - HELPLESS?

That's not a sarcastic question...it's for real!

If you were out running some errands tonight with your girlfriend, wife, or kid and were suddenly and unexpectedly attacked...could you live with yourself if you had knew you had this opportunity to quickly and easily master the kind of gut-churning close combat skills that could have saved them but didn't take advantage of it?

Call it "scare tactics" or whatever you want...it's a fact and you know it!

The sad truth is that when someone you love is savagely attacked or dies at the hands of brutal predator, no money in the world can bring them back!

It kind of has me hoping that this guy gets attacked and cut to pieces by a street thug. That would be sweet irony.
