The OC hasn't said why, but in all of her exhibition matches leading up to the games, her performances were a disaster, particularly one in china where the ref stopped the fight at a minute because she was getting pummelled. When you are in the Olympics there are several hurdles to pass before achieving

1) physically qualify
2) be chosen to represent your country (after all you compete as a member of your country not as an individual)
3) swear the Olympic oath

As such a country gets to chose its representatives and if they prefer a good communist, democrat or whatever else they can do so as it is their choice.

The Greeks kicked her out, presumably because they did not want her representing them. I'm willing to bet they wouldn't want a saudi male represent them either.

They canned her because they thought her joke was offensive, boo hoo. Maybe they could have canned her earlier, maybe done a backgroudn check on her, instead of getting her all the way there and then doing it. Seems like a monumental waste of time, almost like they were wanting her to screw up so they could make an example of her.
