“History Is Written By The Victor” You never study history, really study I mean, did you? Who is actually writing the Vietnam war(s) History? The Vietnamese?

Yes they do, as it was done by the Red Barbarians Hordes

oh i'm in USA and i'm unfortunately reading History lies in here! Vietnam only Was Victor in their land. but USA is Victor in the World after WW II! Veitnamese dont run the world, USA does.

i see good brainwashing in your schools and Universities! you only see German & Russian War Crimes and not UK & specially USA!
i see most in here including you, with respects, but Fanatics! some are Religious some like your people are Western Fanatics! i dont know call it Imperialism Fanatics?
hopefully im not Influenced by them nor any racist believes. i have completely free mind and thoughts and research by myself. not Believe Who is telling me to believe what.

anyway i thought here we will have discussion! but i found here Some people want to attack and offenses
only to Say "i am the RIGHT and You are The Wrong" the winner and loser discussion, its not discussion but Fighting and having battle! so no place for me here.

anyway i'm not your enemy. i just wanted to discuss and tell you things you are not aware of and will never be. maybe im right or maybe you. or maybe both of us!

but i see you even deny Rational Claims! you dont want to open the mind that that "MAYBE" right! so why i just dont listen if he is right so ...... if not we can discus. not by Attacking Posts!

anyway i want to create a new thread you'll see its subject. its totally different with my says in here. so dont create a negative believe on me by yourself. you dont want to listen, thats Okay. i have no hostility toward you in the forum. so before i be accused with Racist or Fascist better go.

Cheers

History is matter of aspect and opinion and also history loves good stories. For example all know the about Winter War and Finnish stubbornness as German ally during operation Barbarossa, banning fascist parties from Finland or for example refusing to shell Leningrad or attack further to Russia from river Svir, because Germans did not achieve their set goals to meet Finnish troops there. Still war is if anything ugly business and there are things that are rarely mentioned, while knowledge of those affairs are well documented.

During continuation war between spring 1941 and autumn 1944. Finnish government committed acts which could be easily judged as war crimes. During 1941 Finnish troops confined 30k ethnic Russians to camps from the conquered areas and between 1941 and 1944, 4000- 7000 of those civilians perished mainly from malnutrition, most of them between winter of 1941 and autumn 1942.
During Continuation War Finland took 64k Soviet POW´s and between 18,318 and 19,085 were reported to perish during their time as prisoners. Similarly most died between 1941 and 1943, mainly because of starvation. Essentially almost 30% of all Soviet POW´s died in Finnish captivity.

I think it is clear indication that as long as Finland thought that Germany would defeat SU. Finland had little care of whether either Russian civilians or POW´s would live or die, but once it became more and more clear that it would be other way around. Surprisingly enough resources to maintain those people appeared. This is what war can do to people.

yes indeed,

i never support war. war CANT be a good thing. Axis or Allies. they both were cruel evils. unfortunately it is civilians and mostly Women and Childrens that should pay!...

...In military actions I personally have a scale of something like this.

Puppy-kicking evil. Is completely pointless for the war effort, possibly even a drain.
Petty evil. Most revenge actions.
Pragmatic evil. Uses fear and excessive violence as an intentional tool of the war effort.
Pragmatic evil. Evil actions that if not done would severly hinder or cripple the war effort....

Pretty decent rubric. Might add a "deterrent retaliation evil" QUid pro quo revenge designed to deter, not simply seek revenge. Of course, you may view this as already covered in your taxonomy.
