Here's the thing. You said a "jackdaw is a crow."
Is it in the same family? Yes. No one's arguing that.
As someone who is a scientist who studies crows, I am telling you, specifically, in science, no one calls jackdaws crows. If you want to be "specific" like you said, then you shouldn't either. They're not the same thing.
If you're saying "crow family" you're referring to the taxonomic grouping of Corvidae, which includes things from nutcrackers to blue jays to ravens.
So your reasoning for calling a jackdaw a crow is because random people "call the black ones crows?" Let's get grackles and blackbirds in there, then, too.
Also, calling someone a human or an ape? It's not one or the other, that's not how taxonomy works. They're both. A jackdaw is a jackdaw and a member of the crow family. But that's not what you said. You said a jackdaw is a crow, which is not true unless you're okay with calling all members of the crow family crows, which means you'd call blue jays, ravens, and other birds crows, too. Which you said you don't.

Bird was wandering around the habitat, panting and grunting and foraging for food. Bird became very sleepy, and decided now might be a good time to catch some sleep. Bird lowered herself down, making sure to remain just alert enough to be wary of potential predators.

But Bird had feasted on quite a lot of things today, and quickly fell into a deeper sleep.

Many hours passed.

When morning comes, Bird opens her eyes and sees something terrible looking her in the face.

Oh look, the only place you actually gave reads. Coincidentally, no mention of cats.

In fact, I think it's weird you keep saying referencing "the cat" as if we're dealing with a serial killer, when the setup explicitly says this is mafia v. town and the d1 writeup even mentions a "bird mafia". Combined with the cat carrying out a lynch, which makes no sense for the mafia to do, I'm not convinced there even is a cat that's mafia. The nightkill attempts don't say anything about cats; if anything, it seems to imply the "bird mafia" are birds shooting other birds.

I didn't realise the random kill on inactive, I would need to refactor that in my calculations as activity was part of the equation in fingering 'khaan, for example. Though, Pizza wouldn't actively say "I am waiting for mafia order" openly, as anyone who is very active like me and you just suddenly gets an all-clear. I will take your word on the game reference.

I could live with an Al Sips one, he is on my suspected list, so I have a few things against him. I think Zack might be acting overly brash due to a few votes on him, could be scum panicking, or simply thats him.

I already explained why that's BS. You are not trying to solve or get in the mindset of anything, those references I highlighted are throwaway garbage. They're meaningless. It is not finding scum. You are not "thinking like the enemy" with those posts. If you want to think like the enemy, analyze someone's posts and explain how it makes sense from a scum perspective. That finds scum, not making constant remarks on how the cat will kill Winston because he's a good player.

In fact, I think it's weird you keep saying referencing "the cat" as if we're dealing with a serial killer, when the setup explicitly says this is mafia v. town and the d1 writeup even mentions a "bird mafia". Combined with the cat carrying out a lynch, which makes no sense for the mafia to do, I'm not convinced there even is a cat that's mafia. The nightkill attempts don't say anything about cats; if anything, it seems to imply the "bird mafia" are birds shooting other birds.

Leads me to why I think Takhisis was killed.

DING DING DING! One of the last posts Barto/Takhisis made. And right after his death, enter Beskar -- "oh my, what a strange kill! of course I would never do such a thing! now back to that evil cat again..."
Beskar keeps talking about "the cat" when the cat is not even the enemy! The very first post in the game says "this game will contain birds and bird byproducts", there is nothing about the possibility of other animals. The mafia are birds with guns. The cat is an NPC who carries out the lynches, not nightkills. And the first person who pointed this possibility out was promptly killed, despite the fact that they were lynchbait.

And Beskar ignored all of this and tried to shut me down by misconstruing my words and arguments and painting me as an illiterate buffoon.

Upon re-consideration I think Al Sips might actually be town. There is a stark difference between his behavior here and in barto's recent game (where al was mafia) and he is acting too flagrantly "bad townie" to be scum. An Al Sipsclar wagon is really low-effort.

I assume there's 3 scum in a 15 player game. {Beskar, BSmith, x} where x ≠ Zack, Winston Hughes. Right now my gut says GH and the scum piled on al sips to save beskar, but that does seem a bit foolhardy. I can see Pelican as mafia since Beskar mentioned him being inactive somehow automatically made him town and tried to move votes off him.

FWIW I have both you and Beskar as likely town, with you as slightly more likely. You made a decent case against him yesterday but Beskar's behavior does seem to be in line with how he usually plays as town - most notably publicly appearing as in the know and also claiming certain predictions of his were correct when said predictions were never made in the thread.
