I put this in the tech forum but htis derseves to e everywhere!

Greetings Joe,
Thank you for your email and sending in your concerns regarding Shogun:
Total War: The Mongol Invasion. What is happening is that the serial number
you have is currently not in our online database. Please make a photocopy of
the front of the game CD-ROM. Include your name, address, telephone number,
email address, and a short description of the situation. Then either fax or
mail it to our warranty department below.

EA Customer Warranty
P.O. Box 9025
Redwood City, CA 94065

FAX: (650)628-5900

We can then issue a new serial number to you.
Again, thank you for contacting Electronic Arts technical support.

cool two respones i noen night...

Hello Joe,

Thank you for your email and sending in your concerns on Shogun: Mongol
Invasion. We are currently aware that at the moment there is an issue
accessing the Shogun site via multiplayer, due to an error stating that
there is an invalid cd key code. At this time it appears that some of the
serial key codes released by Totalwar.com have not been entered into their
database as of yet. In order to provide you with a serial key code that has
been tested to work from our warranty department, we ask that you send us a
photocopy of both the face of the cd, and the back of the cd case. With this
copy, make sure to include your general information such as name/number/ and
email address we can send your serial-code to. You can send this information
1 of 2 ways.

One would be by fax, physically making a photocopy of the front of the cd
and back of the cd case with your information on it. The fax number for our
warranty department is 650-628-5900. Again make sure to include an email
address or number to send the new serial code to. Second, would be if you do
not have access to a fax machine, but a scanner. Simply scan the front of
the cd and back of the cd case, and you can attach that to an email to us.
The email address you would want to send that information to is
Warranty1@ea.com . Please allow a maximum of 24-hours to receive this new
cd key code. If either you do not receive your serial code within 24-hours
of sending us your information or are experiencing any issues with the new
code, please respond to us here or if you'd like, you can contact our phone
support at 650-628-8468.

Again, thank you for contacting Electronic Arts technical support,

Josh O.
