An indice is an index number, or a power. Like 2 squared. I'm assuming Ah Dut wants to use superscript.

If you want superscript or subscript, just highlight the text, and then go into format>font and check superscript or subscript

Yup. BKS got it.

I wish there was an easier way, though. Like say to the computer, "make that to the power of 2" or "H subscript2 O". I was doing chemistry homework in MS Word and it was a PAIN! :book:

You can add superscript and subscript buttons to the toolbar. On the main menu select view>customise. Select format and then scroll down to superscript. Then you drag the button on to the toolbar.
