1. Tell family that CA has hired you as a Beta tester.
2. Hand wife credit card, and say "you have 24 hours."
3. Tell girlfriend that you have the measles and must remain quarantined for 5 days straight.
4. Use your diplomat to bribe family members.
5. Put "useless" family members on a bireme and sail them towards the Carthaginian fleet.
6. Bring cooler of food and beer into computer room and lock the door. Put headphones on to max volume and boot up computer.

Stay up all night and hope my boss doesn't find me sleeping in the coms room.

Use the time you used to use for that "job" thing you once had.

I'm still in school, so I have a good amount of free time. Not doing homework creates even more time, so that's great ~D ~D ~D

Procrastination for the most part.
I get one hour each night while my wife puts the kid to sleep -- or less, if there are still dishes to wash or any picking up to do...

I don't. Currently, I have better things to do with my time. I can only hope that the Europa Barbarorum modification will change that.

It's impossible to swim in time.

I do that. I once brought three days supplies of food into my room, locked myself in and started playing. No one noticed i was there until about day 2, when the family tried to batter down my thick wooden door. Then they figured out they could just turn off all the power to the upper floors of the house, and wait until i got bored. That was fun. But to prevent stuff like that happening again, i wired up a generator in my room which will last approximately 4 days.

I salute your determination. If I tried that I'd have to be wary of a family ambush on my way to the bathroom (nature calls).
I wonder, is there anyone out there that gets into total war so much they go into a bit of role play whilst playing. I for one sit at the PC in a toga and have my girlfriend peel grapes and feed them to me whilst I play ~D . Just kidding, but seriously is there anyone out there that does?

No, I can safely say I don't. I've never even worn a toga. :grin3: :laugh4:

Don't sleep at night, and sleep during lunch break at work the next day. 20 minute nap does wonders. Go back to the office and get on totalwar.org hahahaha

I don't get to play as much as I'd like. RTW is installed on a family computer and my brother and sister, not to mention my parents, have their other uses for this computer...

Never worn a toga? What do you english people wear then? Pants? That's just barbaric!
Back on topic, just postponing the work for my study works great...although I now have to avoid running into my professor... :hide:

Heaven is only a leather toilet if it comes with RTW accessories and game installed on top-end gaming machine... ;-)

I am having some trouble keeping reasonable hours with RTW. 3.5 - 5 hours at a stretch is normal
I occasionally go without enough sleep, but when I get tired I don't enjoy it as much as I would when I am sharp. I tend to auto-calc. too many battles when I'm tired and I quit and get some exercise- meaning I get something to eat or do some housework- my wife is 1/2 Sicilian, and I have learned not to let games suck up all my time.
