I'm not too sure if its possible, but maybe improve the interior look of cities? I was really disappointed with RTW Vanilla with seiges because all cities are are just a block on a battle field. Cities that are supposed to be next to a river or the ocean are a few hundred meters away, instead of having a port!

Think how much more interesting it would be to be fighting in Babylon and be faced with a bridge in the middle of the city.

Yes, we will do this, though it would be made MUCH easier if someone were to build a city plan editor.

Oops, and I meant Seleucia. :)

Sorry I can't help, cause that'd be neat.

by city plan editor you mean a program in which u can edit the city plan, can you not do that by editing the city model, and create a river or port one etc, or does it require something different?

It would make for an interesting siege of Rome. Thinking you've almost won, only to forget you got that one bridge on the Tiber River to cross.

i've been thinking about it and i am unsure, i have a few questions some people may be able to answer helping come to a decstion, are the sounding forests/ plains etc to a city random or are the set to stone?
if set instone can the not be edited to include rivers or sea (talking bout using 1.2 battlemapeditor ingame or some hybrid version of it)

Well, its rather easy to test to see if its random. Can't you just run the same siege (same exact configuration) several times over, but not as replays. To be even surer, alternate between 2 or 3 different sieges (location), and see if the same details are there in each specific kind of siege.

OF course, it is instone, can't you just make a new city from scratch?

making a new city from scratch is (although i have never done it) a lot of work, the are models to make (city), individual building models, and the city plan files of which i believe there are loads

Yea, but think about the benefits. Anyway, the cities look a little too small to be housing the number of people they do.

u must be getting sick of the site of me but - what you said is true and khelvan has said they are making new cities but are hindered by a lack of city editor

I have so many ideas to improve the way the cities look in EB it hurts, but without the editor of some sort I would have to drop my job and start working on the mod full-time to make them work for any expectable release...
