Otto von Bismarck. ~;) ~D He was happy with Germany as it was and didn´t want to go and conquer more, like some stupid men who came after him.

I'm my own idol. As Chesney said "I am the one and only, nobody I'd rather be!"

If you can find anyone that is better than me at being me, do tell.

Arthur Wellesley, First Duke of Wellington
because he was a superb military commander whom I look up to, and he had the classic British wit and wisdom ~D

As it is said in Bible : " Do not create an idol ... "
P.S. Sorry if my quote is incorrect , it is because I translated it from russian , not rewrite it from english.

No-one. No single has appealled to me, to my interests. My idol is the image of what I want to achieve, and image outlined in my imagination. A senior Army cavalry officer, Peer, cabinet minister, publican, laird. A mix of those 5.

I think I need to correct myself, Otto von Bismarck was a "nice" guy, but he´s not my idol. Of course I had to say that here because of Franconius´ reply to my statement here (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=48142&page=2&pp=30). ~;) ~D
I didn´t even have an idol when I was a kid, never really liked Batman and all the other heroes.

Well the closest thing to an Idol that i have, although not really an Idol but more of a role model is Engelburt Dollfuß, Chancellor of Austria until his death in 1933(?).

Heinz Guderian for his military genius and professionalism or Erwin Rommel for his military genius, professionalism and brave political stance that cost him his life.

Gawain, what a great member. He is the only reason I post in the Backroom, just fighting around about crap.

Oh man what is this I'm smoking? It's pretty thick. Oh NO!!

Well as I was saying Pyhrrus is my idol for his clear vision of the west and his military genius.

Many many people combined. So far no individual has to my knowledge achieved my ideal, and I doubt anyone (including myself) will.

Pretty hilarious website. Despite his obvious immaturity ("porking 500 babes at once," etc.), he has quite a wit.

Michelangelo Buonaroti, the greatest artist of all time in human history. Many people say da Vinci was his rival, but in the perspective of Michelangelo's gigantic achievements in art, da vinci is a real midget compared to the grand master, the il divino michelangelo!.
