i seem to recall an instance where i got in trouble in my early days. A mod issued me a public warning for saying something that was meant in fun and even had a ~D next to it but was considered serious. I was told it wasn't enough as that smiley alone does not mean you're joking. There's many otehr smileys here that DO indicate a joke in progress, such as a laughing one or a jester. Recalling this instance i responded as i thought i should.

For example, Gregoshi closed a thread(which there was reason to do), but then re-opened it at a request and further look into the thread. He not only re-opened the thread, but apologized. He was only doing his job, but felt he possibly made a bad judgement call and apologized.

This makes him a very great mod and makes me see him as a very big man. Of course mods make judgment calls all the time, and when the make ones that maybe werent right they usually apologize. I have seen this noble beahvior demonstrated by many mods here and it is part of what makes this place great.

You on the other hand accused us of a nasty thing and yet you dont apologize. I see that some of our post may have been viewed the wrong way and for that I apologize, i would expect the same from you, but whatever.....

The only thing i acused you of there was not being able to reconize a joke. If that's what you mean then I apologise. for that. Clearly you got the joke. Yet in no place did I accuse you of anything else. My tone with you became a bit heavily sarcastic, but that in itself is not accusing you of something.
