Hi, unfortunately, I just don't have the time to be playing EB at the moment (I'm bogged down in a mountain of coursework taller than Vesuvius), so please excuse me if this question is irrelevant.
1) I'm suggesting that the Romans can build Forts for free, as they did build a fort every night, but there were no costs (above the initial outlay) - they carried tools, resources etc, and the forts were built by the soldiers.
2) In my experience of vanilla RTW, the AI seemed to be terrified of forts - they would avoid attacking them at any cost. So as the Julii for example, you could build a fort in each of the mountain passes, which made mainland italy almost completely safe, whils your own troops could pass unhindered. Firstly, are the EB team aware of this? And secondly, if so, are there any plans in the works to resolve the problem?
Thanks, Perky
