Well I do hug and kiss everyone on the cheek, Gender not specific :laugh4:
Other than that, I sing loudly, wrestling half naked on video camera, sleep in bushes, the usual :2thumbsup:

I just slip into self-pittying nonsense, hence I rarely drink when I'm out these days.

My first time was at around 14/15 at somebodys wedding. My sister and I, ran around the different tables while everyone was dancing, drinking their wine :laugh4:

I think you should have the poll list upto like "More than 1000" for a few grogs.

Never, no really, never. And, yes, I do drink, but there are some ways to avoid getting drunk out of your mind ... it also helps to know when to stop, but that is not primary.

I've probably been drunk more than 10 times in one week.

Of course, that depends on how sober you have to be between 2 drunken moments I guess...

Oh yeah, I barely drink anymore, don't follow in my footsteps kids, it's bad for you !

Heh, the poll results are quite radically split between 'Never' and 'More than ten times'. We need someone early in their drinking career to vote for the other options.

Done and done. I've been drunk more than 5 times, despite my slight undarage-ness. The last time i got drunk, was at a large party. It was fun. I couldn't walk more than a few paces without falling over, so i remember ordering the people near me to get me another drink.

I made a lot of new friends that night.

Never been really drunk, I find it quite difficult for some reason. Don't go out drinking that much, but when I do it often seems that when everyone else is smashed I'm just dizzy and have a bad headache despite having drunk the same amount. Didn't want to push it any further then that...

Very True, some of the most fun times ive had so far were midly alcohol fueled, but I've always known when to stop drinking, some of my friends on the other hand...Can anyone say paraletic?

I have been drunk thrice.
Once upon the completion of my Standard Grade exams. I had too much whisky. And cider. And vodka. (thankfully I have not had the latter two since.)

Thence upon my 16th birthday. Had far too much baaaad whisky (Claymore, never ever buy the stuff, it is baaaad). My comrade's mother walked in on me bent over her kitchen sink...

Thence finally at a comrade's fund-raising party. A happier ending this night, on brandy. And whisky. And a little bit of rum. Spent almost £30 on taxis to town and thereafter to a friend's house and thence from the aforesaid comrade's house back to town. I won a bottle of wine in a raffle at the party and gave it to a taxi driver. Walked home almost soberly with a drunken comrade. Without a stain on my crisp white shirt.

You kids...

The first time I got drunk was in 1970. I was seven. It was my sister's wedding and I emptied a whole whack of almost empty champagne glasses sitting on the table.

Apparently I went up on stage, grabbed the mike, burst into tears, said I was losing the best sister in the world, and then was hauled out to sleep it off in the back of the car.

:2thumbsup: I'm so proud.

LeftEyeNine

Religiously forbidden, yes. But there is no law enforcing that in social life, here in Turkey. And that makes difference among others ~:)

As geeky and an anime-lover that I am, I can't help but get a little creeped out: "aww shes kawai" (of course, Kawaii is kawaii = cute, not kawai), "lol hot", "all anime girls r hot" "faye teh best" "sakura a lil moe but stil hot"...

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE ??????Don't worry, I'm not a recipient of the less child-friendly of the Japanese animations. Really; honest! I just wandered to where a friend pointed, and felt immediately like one of those college days when you go to a new club and finds it a cult. :book:

I'm sure most people could care less about the taste of beer (they just want buzz), but I really can't stand it.

Plus I really don't care enough to get drunk. It's not that I have morals, 'cuz I don't. It's just I don't drink.

Could this turn into the frontroomish version of the drunkards thread?

I never really like the taste of alcohol, but I like beer and tequila. I drink vodka although I don't really like it. I usually drink it mixed with some other stuff, like orange or coke or appletinis. But I'll drink in a social setting.

Yes, I've been drunk more than once. First time when I was drunk, I blackout completely (too much beer and tequila) and the next morning I woke up on the floor of my friend's bedroom with vomit all over my shirt, which he told me was mine. :scared:

But now, I just have a couple of beer to relax me and one or two shots. No point staying sober when everyone are getting drunk, right? Cause then all the responsibility will get shove to you. :laugh4:

:2thumbsup: Tequila is the best. However, I recently discovered Amaretto, a very good liqueur. Odd, since I always hate Liqueurs; but Amaretto is very good. It has a strong, thick taste to it; very sweet, but not cloying, and with a strong almond flavor.

Listen to me... jabbering about Amaretto... I need to sober up! :wall:

I voted more than five, but I guess I should have said once. On many occasions I have been pleasantly tipsy after a few glasses of wine, but in those instance I can sober up in a split second.
There was only one time when I was seriously as nissed as a pewt. I invented a cocktail called the COMP which goes as follows:
The C.O.M.P:
Take one pint/liter/anysize glass you want.
Fill two thirds (or three quarters if you prefer) of the glass with orange juice.
Fill the other third with one part pineapple rum, one part mago rum, and one part cherry brandy.
Works well with any other fruit schnapps/brandy/alcohol you have at hand.

It was so easy to drink, so after about half an hour I couldn't walk in a straight line and kept falling off my chair. Great fun, though.

This thread has inspired me to have a drink, and now after a short tumbler filled with rum and ice tea, I am feeling pleasantly....relaxed. :nice:
Oh, and i am also making cheval bourguignon tonight, so I will have half a bottle of wine to use up! And after that, I think I may proceed onto the port!

Yeah Amaretto is good, especially after you've just had diner - or any food for that matter. :2thumbsup:
