In direct response to the Coffee thread, I'm giving us tea junkies a place to discuss our favourite blends and combinations.
How to do you like your tea?
Me, it's very simple.
-The best Twinings Earl Grey
-Teaspoon of Sugar
-Dash of Lemon (tried it on the suggestion of Malcolm, and it's wonderful, really improves taste.)
-China Cup
-Tea biscuit or two (must accessorize, you know)
Strong brewed, pure, sweet tea. The nectar of the gods...
(Note: This is not a place to discuss coffee vs. tea, nor a place to discuss ice tea. Ice tea I consider a seperate beverage.)

M-milk? How much?
Yeah, I drink several cups a day myself, usually earl gray, but I experiment with many other types as well, both in bags and loose weight.

Sencha or Genmai Cha, straight up.
Jasmine, straight up.
Earl Grey with honey.
English or Irish breakfast tea, with honey and a touch of cream.
Bigelowe Constant Comment (Western-style tea with orange rind) and a bit of sugar.
Iced: Sweet Tea - Mint & Honey; Iouen Sencha; Honest - Just Green Tea
Medicinal: Echinichea (sp) and Golden Seal, lemon, honey; Chamomille (sp)
I remember the time I had seven teabags piled into half a cup of water.

Green or oolong, straight up with no additives.
Sometimes I'll drink blueberry flavored black tea, with a few packets of Splenda.

Plain oolong, no extras. Tieguanyin if I'm feeling particularly hardcore, one third leaves two-thirds water.

Who cares? Grab a bag regardless of what brand it is, chuck in the mug drown in boiling water, dash it with milk, add 3 sugars for good measure, and then throw it down my neck.
Earl Grey.. bah!
Usually, about four cups a day, unless I"m home all day, then it becomes countless.
Right now I'm drinking some demented "Breathe Easy" herbal blend because it's 4:30 in the morning and I'm not. Breathing easy that is. Bloody allergies. ~:pissed:
Taste like thyme and mint or something. Not too bad.

I usually drink either ice tea or cooled down (room temp) lipton tea with lots of lemon and some sweetener.
I know, barbaric :laugh4:

Ah, Assam tea from my local tea and coffee merchant, with milk and a little sugar first thing in the morning. And second thing. And for elevenses. And at lunch. And at Afternoon tea. And High tea. And just after dinner. And with supper.
My dear mother purchased a nice vessel of Earl Grey in her recent trip to London, but I've finished all the lemon and there is no decent honey in Tesco's...
Earl grey in the morning, the best jasmin in the evening (very relaxing)

Black or rooibos tea infused with vanilla, a good dash of milk and two spoons of brown sugar.
Delicious.

Two cups each day, morning and evening.
Brand? Anything I get cheapest from the local cornershop. Those fancy teas I'll give a try if I happen to win the lottery.

Gunpowder tea, straight, for refreshment.
For nostalgia's sake, and a jolt, PG Tips steeped till the spoon rots, five sugars, milk. Ahh. (Sweet stewed tea keeps the British Army going )

I'm gonna have to go with Masala tea as I'm half indian. Iced tea is good too though.
Lady Grey, with one sugar.
I love Turkish tea too.
Southern sweet brewed tea is the only kind I like. Just don't like hot tea (or hot drinks in general), and can't stand milk in tea. What a heathen...
