Hi Im new to EB, because I until now always sticked to RTR based mods which Ive played extensively the last years. If AE 3.0 didnt take so long Id probably not even be testing it. So I decided testing it waiting for another mod to come and I must say hats off - from atmosphere, graphics, historical detail, roleplay, battle and campaign difficulty this is easily the best mod Ive played until now - and competition is very hard as the RTR based mods, especially AE, are excellent too.
The "only" problem as you all already know is stability. Ive tried 2 roman campaigns now and after I get to around 230 I get CTDs every AI turn. Is there ANY way to reduce probability of this happening? I presume its due to those city revolts.

I gave every faction the ability to recruit their lowest level unit from every palace building and I have yet to see this CTD since.

And may I ask how? Youd save my day for a yes!

If you are unfamiliar with editting the EDB, and since I am not good at explaining things, it may be difficult. But I have been thinking about making a fix for the addon mod subforum and I'll try that now.

Im sure this would be much appreciated by many of us. By reading the forum it seems to be a big problem in a lot of campaigns and I just read i won´t be fixed for 0.81.

I put it up here:

This may not fix all AI CTD problems.

So, it works? Glad to hear it. :2thumbsup:
They should include this in the patch.

Played further 80 turns, no CTD.:laugh4:
Omgoose, I haven't tried it yet but I'm sure it will work because you're sexy and that's explanation enough.

Lol sorry I thanked you in the other thread at the mods forum and didnt want to double post but of course Id like to repeat it here - my wife hates you lol.

We have already taken a different approach to defuse this CTD (in the internal v.81 test build). If ultimately it fails, then we'll probably do something similar.

I'll post a "thank you" too, even though I'm on our new internal version. The thanks though is for helping out other fans. We're certainly happy to see people help each other out. I haven't tried the solution out of course as our build has changed up a good deal now, but if it's working for folks then kudos.
