In my past and current EB games, I've noticed one big problem that seems to plague the AI. They seem to barely pay any attention to a city's happiness and many times I see a AI's core cities rioting. This usually happens with big factions like the Seleucids. Is there anyway of helping the AI with this?

i've noticed that, with every town/city etc i come across they are always in the minus income and rioting, hmm how strange

RTW is kind of hardcoded with something that really annoys me but seem to help the AI in this catagory. For you, if a city riots once, then next time it will rebel. For the AI they can have low public order and never get a riot. And when they do get riots, they can have them for many turns in a row without losing the city. Quite annoying and feels cheap, but helps the stupid AI.
Though I do wish they had the ability to know what were core cities and try to manage them better. (And hold onto them better.)

The main problem is that they strip all their interior cities of most of their garrisons and family members whenever there is a war.
Send a couple good spies into those cities and pretty soon they won't have them anymore ~D

Not necessary, as MarcusAurelius, said they have hardcoded help, that makes the city harder to rebel, in one of my campains I had a AS city, whit 3 6 eyed spies in it the PO was 25%, there were riots, and it lasted five turns this way, whitout rebeling, then dont know how they made the order 80%, whitout new units ore anything :wall: :wall:

I get AI cities to rebel all the time. The trick is to make sure the spies stay in the city. I find that even if PO is low having the spies kicked out seems to reset the counter or whatnot. And I play on Med difficulty, as I am almost certain VH gives bonuses to AI cities like you describe, which irks me.
But they havent been kicked, this was the craziest thing i ever encouter in spionage ever.
I must heve been just unlucky in that campian it wasn't the only such thing in it.
Well somtimes it's more successfull.

I rather see the AI harder than find ways to take their cities without beating the defenders to death.

me to, whit only one exeption, the AS Monster, has enough cities and louds of money (script) so it would, be a bit of a balancion if they would lose the east cities quit early. (in me campains they never do:wall: )
I can pretty reliably get a Seleucid city to rebel in a few turns if I put in two of my uber-spies (I just move them all around until they get 5-6 eyes, then park them in a city so they get the Spy Network trait or whatever it's called).
The Spy Network trait is key... it's badass.

then it's just me:sweatdrop: my EB hates me, because especialy in the begining i have 2 6eyed spies in asaak + a 3 eyed for like 4 turns (till my armies come down from the north, but no rebelion not eaven a riot:wall: )
and it si so every campain i play as pahlava (and i plazed a lot:yes: )

Mine are in the bad habit of occasionally spontaneously combusting and simply disappearing without any notice. It's rather annoying when it happens to your regular James Bond.
had that to, and agree quit annoying
I wish it were harder for the player to maintain civil order, especially when playing AS.It could better represent their poor situation. My brother(not a RTW expert) plays AS,and he has no civil order problems in the east, even without good governors!!!(but he isn't complaining about it at all !I wonder if something could be done to make things more complicated for him :D )
