i downloaded 1.1 patch and all these files are all over my desktop!
what went wrong?

You probably installed it to he wrong path. I forgot how the Patch Installer works so just try again. This is just to try something until someone else with all the answers can help out. :2thumbsup:

1. Use the 1.2 patch, not 1.1
2. Install to your M2TW directory (usually C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II - Total War)
