Hello, beloved EB-Team! :2thumbsup:

As I see it is not integrated within the new map previewed recently, I'm strongly recommended that you get rid of those pointy edges.

Preview map:

current map:

improved current map:

The basic idea is rather simple, but there are some things one must consider.
So, pm me if you need some help or advice.

Thanks!

The map is frozen for EB, no further changes will be made. For EB2, we may look at this.

Hm, very strange answer. Very strange. :inquisitive:
What do you fear?
One just has to edit the map_heights.tga.
Or has EB currently no map maker?

Our mappers are all working on EB2, which is currently the priority for the mappers. If the change is easy then it might be possible for the next release. We don't want to make any major changes, but I don't know what the opinion is on aesthetic changes.

The EB map is frozen regarding province boundaries, province names, settlement locations and settlement names. For the sake of the scripters' sanity.

@SirRethcir
Thanks for pointing that out - had to miss that one - i'll correct that soon ;)

As TA said above some aspects of the map won't be changed for the RTW ver of EB, but we will continue improoving terrain/climate areas. So if you'll notice any other bug - just post it ;)
