1- Because the state is still running peacefully although SFTSzilla keeps growing more and more.

2- Because V.A.S.T. is based out of Austin.

The hint of the oil war in Iraq is the overwhelming expenses to feed SFTSzilla, I can say, and that's all about it.

Now, ladies and gentlemen, smash your head to V.A.S.T. :smash:

Actually the band is a one-man trick. Jon Crosby (pic upper left) who was predicted to be a very good guitarist by Guitar Player Magazine at the age of 13, loves to dwell with unexpected samples, vocals (such as Benedictine Monk choir) in his songs which brought him (them) the success on songs such as Touched (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=50:apfixxe5ldje~T), Thrown Away (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=50:3bfuxnrsldae~T), Falling From The Sky (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=50:kvfox98dldte~T), Turquoise (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=50:wbfyxnrsldae~T). However he is also a master at acoustic and touching songs such as Where It Never Rains (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=50:3bfqx99dld6e~T), Lost (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=50:gbfuxnrsldae~T), Winter In My Heart (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=50:hbfuxnrsldae~T), Desert Garden (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=50:3bfixnrsldae~T), Tattoo Of Her Name (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=50:g95rxxrjldhe~T), Flames (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=50:fpfoxxe5ldje~T). (I can nearly count the whole discography, so let's stop it here)

After releasing the latest V.A.S.T. project album named "April" in 2007, Crosby has released two solo albums called "Generica" and "Generica II" respectively. A new album on V.A.S.T. project is expected early this year.

Enjoy or die.

So if it is "Industrial", even though a rock genre, it is a Backroom matter ? ~

THanks for the tip, LEN. I'm always on the lookout for good new music, especially since my MP3 collection appears to be stuck in the '90s.

LEN!!

Long time no see, man; it's been too long. ~

Thanks for the heads-up on these guys. I'd never heard of them before, but now I think I'll have to seek them out and see if I can find April somewhere. :2thumbsup:

Edit: "Thrown Away" and "Lost" are my probably my two favorites out of the selected tracks you've linked.
