this one gave me an irresistible wish to start a new campaign with the greens!
look at the village, it is completely similar to RTW gaul village!

Not an expert on Gaul but eh...wouldn't these guys be Arverni?
hmmm, now that i think on, im not sure, i think they should be Rebels, cause Bretagna is a Rebel province in EB if i well remember:dizzy2:
(anyway i like better the Aedui skins... despite being Arverni the tribs of Vercingex...)
EDIT2: we should have a new playable faction for EB2 in that province, i dont know, Armoricani?

It is an adaptation of a French comic strip: "Asterix le gaulois" where Asterix (and his friend Obelix) belongs to the last Gaul village (in 52 BC) thanks to the magic potion made by the druid which give a Great strenght. Of course it is all about comedy (and good one at least in the books) and no historical accuracy (the Romans are all wearing a lorica segmentata ~:( )

The magic potion in Asterix and Obelics comics was a gaesatae drug of course. But they have to wear clothes because it is mostly for children. :laugh4:

Though really, will they actually get away with endorsing drug use at the olympic games? Sounds kinda... non family movie like.

I though the main plot of this movie was that asterix and obelix weren't allowed to use their drug, and that they will have to train the old-fashion style to get into a winning shape:shame:

The story goes that while Asterix didn't use his drug (while Obelix was disqualified from the beginning because he was by definition perpetually drugged) they decided to set a trap by making a cauldron of the magic potion, which led to Asterix placing last while all the Romans finished drawn for first as they had drunk the potion. Which then led to the trap being revealed, the potion having been filled with a blue dye that turned the athletes' tongues blue.
But that aside, 'tortoise in animal terms'. XD Mein gott, mon dieu, and everything else.
